Premier Inn Cobham

A nice setting , but unfortunately it is all extremely tired and poorly maintained. On arrival I tried 3 different rooms to try to get one with more than half the lights working - without success. The comment from reception was they couldn't change bulbs themselves and maintenance hadn't been in for over a week. That evening the swivel plug in the ancient bathroom stuck closed so I had a basin full of dirty water. I reported it the next morning, by that evening they had done nothing and the lady on reception said there was no record . They offered us a complimentary breakfast, when we turned up the next morning the staff in the restaurant said they knew nothing about it. It simply appears nobody cares. I only ever stay at premier inn if I have no other choice.

We stayed here back at the end of August whilst on a two day break to the Cobham area. I was slightly concerned having read some of the reviews but to be honest we were more than happy. We stayed on a Sunday night deal which only cost us £45. Our room was clean and tidy. The shower was good and the bathroom clean. Staff at reception greeted us with a friendly smile and we sleep really well. The hotel is set back from the man road and we were pleased to be woken up by birdsong in the morning. We didn’t have breakfast n the hotel so can only pass comment on the room etc

Room 20, was a turd in the toilet upon my arrival. Disturbingly no toilet paper to go with it so I’m guessing they didn’t wipe. Toilet water was nearly black so turd must’ve been in there a good 24hrs. Ceiling in bathroom needs a decent lick of paint as all flaking off. No tea/sugar etc upon arrival. No wifi signal in that room for entire 2days stay. Wouldn’t stay again, worst premier inn i’ve stayed in.

Customer service was excellent! Sadly, the bathroom was in poor decorative order, looked tired, in need of refurbishment. The bed was very comfortable and was a quiet room. The restaurant was very pleasant with good choice of food and drink. The staff were very very welcoming.

On the moment of arrival we were made welcome, we accessed the room on arrival and found the room was very clean and the recepionist Robyn was very helpfull and kind and understanding. I would recommend the quality of the hotel and staff were excellent

Had a 5 night working stay but couldn't get Wi-Fi in my room which was a problem. Was given another room for the last 3 nights and it worked. The staff were very helpful in sorting me out - couldn't have been better. I moved into the room first thing on the third morning. No breakfast at the Chef and Brewer next door at the weekend until 8am. Too late for me.
