Hermitage Park Hotel

This place is perfect for our Download weekend trip! Friendly helpful staff, great bar open when we get back from a long day. Rooms could do with updating but they’re always comfy & clean. Great breakfast, hot & lots of choice, love that they have filter coffee…..please never get a machine! Booked again for next year & will continue as long as prices stay reasonable.

Very warm welcome on arrival. Clean room with the usual amenities, including bottled water. Beds are comfortable and supplied with 2 pillows, blackout curtains, so know light came in excellent. As a bigger than usual man did have a bit of a squeeze to get between the sink and the door handle(room 26). Breakfast was well worth the extra. If in the area again, we will definitely stay.

Fantastic hotel, good value, great rooms with bath, shower, fan, tea/coffee and biscuits. Nice food, good value & friendly staff 👍 ideal location for local shops, bars and restaurants. Free parking, early check-in and late checkout available. Would definitely stay there again

I thought this hotel was fantastic. Cannot fault anything. Easy & free parking, good location, great service, really nice rooms with added extras inc biscuits, good bar snacks & a great breakfast. Had a really lovely stay & enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff 😊

The hotel staff are professional and friendly. The breakfast is good and they cater for vegetarian. The rooms are clean. The hotel isn't as modern but there is free WiFi We stayed as guests for a wedding

We had booked the hotel as a friend was having a wedding in Coalville, so wanted to stay nearby. The Hotel is in a good location and there is plenty of free parking. The Hotel itself is a bit outdated, and could do with refurbishment however our room was spotless, extremely clean and as was the rest of the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and the room has all the facilities that we could need. The staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly and welcoming and are an asset to the Hotel. A particular lady, we did not get her name unfortunately but she was great. I think she may have been the manager. She made us all feel so welcome and really made the stay. We really enjoyed our stay overall and thought it was fantastic value for money. The only thing that I could say would need improvement would be the breakfast. I am Vegetarian and there wasn't a menu that I could see, so my choice was limited. As the breakfast was around £10 each, I felt that I did not get value for money, and that my choice was limited. I think that a vegetarian option would be really beneficial especially with the price point. There was a large option for continental breakfast such as fruit, yoghurt and pastries which was good. However, everyone else did enjoy their breakfast and there is a good selection otherwise. Overall: Extremely clean and fresh smelling hotel brilliant staff free parking good facilities and comfortable bed. Decent room size Thank you for a great stay!
