The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

They were so friendly at the front desk. This place was in the perfect spot with good parking and unreal views! I will absolutely stay here again next winter

Paid for an ocean view, 2nd floor room with balcony had a "peek" of the ocean between the palm tree tops & the store across the street. Room was clean, had a sofa as well as 2 queen beds. Pool is on 2nd floor, beautiful deck & pool with plenty of loungers & tables with umbrellas. Seems to have a bird issue, sea gulls were in the pool all afternoon bathing & leaving feathers in the water. We never saw anyone clean it x 3 days we were there. CKs restaurant downstairs had excellent food & service! Also birds trying to steal food. Great location if you want to walk around, lots of shoppung/bats/restaurants & the Pier. Beach was very crowded on a Mon in Feb!

Great location, comfy bed & pillows. Parking included. Breakfast adequate. The pool in February had lots of bird feathers floating, presumably not being serviced at this time of year. The whole place Needs serious upgrade, looks neglected but overall the price is probably fair.

It’s an old hotel, but I really enjoyed my stay. After reading some reviews I was a little worried but you get what you pay for, if you want Hyatt luxury then you have to pay Hyatt prices. I thought it was great for the price. Prime location and nice ocean view. I would definitely stay here again. The restaurant that’s attached has a great happy hour also!

Older property with minimum amenities. Management was not responsive to the customers reported feeding the seagulls. (Florida state law against feeding them!) Seagulls had a great time swimming in the pool also!

We took a chance for a one night getaway and it was wonderful. Beautiful full on view of the Gulf of Mexico. Very nice front desk team and very clean unit. Great little restaurants 30 steps away…again direct view of Gulf and sunset. We will be back. Thank you to the team at The Beachview Inn.

The good: Location is great. The girl working in the day was really friendly. The lady working at night was friendly but not able to provide helpful advice for where I could park my 2nd vehicle (which wasn’t allowed to be parked on-site). Outstanding water pressure in the shower. Chill balcony. The bad: Very thin walls…not fun explaining to my child why the lady in the adjacent room was moaning, screaming, and yelling “oh my god” at 3am - it really sounded like she was in the same room as us. The couch had a lot of gross stains. Free breakfast was poor quality (we didn’t know it was included, though, so maybe I shouldn’t complain). Not sure what the “resort fee” covered and seems like just a scam to get more money from guests. The room curtains weren’t wide enough to block people near the front door from peeking inside the room. Table was very wobbly and about to fall apart at any moment. The living room TV was so small that the wall mount bracket stuck out on the sides (e.g. Michael Scott’s TV from the Office). Overall price was very high compared to the quality of the hotel. Online photos made this place look a lot nicer than it turned out to be. This would be a $50/night hotel if located away from the beach. Considering location, the price point should be no more than $125/night. We paid more to have oceanfront view but were on 2nd floor and could barely see the water around the cafe building, trees, and street.

There were stains on my towels and the bathroom smells horrible like there is something in the pipes … you can hear everything from your neighbors there was banging alll morning when we were trying to sleep and the stove didn’t work at all which really upset me after I bought a whole dinner to cook and couldn’t even cook it ….Even with do not disturb on the door house keeping was knocking on our door and woke us up and took the do not disturb sign with them… the only bright side was the bed was comfy and nice patio….
