This Quality Inn is a remodel of an older hotel in the area, and while an improvement - is still not up to the usual hotel standards. Location was good, but the area isn't that great.

We selected this hotel because it was the only one available for the weekend (big ND game), which was definitely not commensurate with the price tag.
The hotel is dated, with some new decor and items being added. Our bathroom was old and in need of a good scrub. The toilet seat broke and was not repaired after our request.
The breakfast was decent, and the coffee was good.
The bed was comfortable.
Overall, they are getting an exorbitant price for a 2-star hotel based on demand. It's good for them but not great for the customer.

On the scale 1 - 10 this is solid 10. Everything expected was there, clean and functionable. Check in and check out easy and friendly. Breakfast simple (as expected) and the same time everything was plenty and good quality. If we'll need to stay in that area again, don't see reason to look for any other place.

The room we were given was across from the ice machine and vending machines, and on a corner of the hallway with an exterior exit door. Walls were thin, outside noise and neighboring noise were noticeable and interrupted sleep. Cleaning by staff in hallway at 2:30am also was less than ideal. The hotel is fine, a utilitarian option for those visiting ND for games...aside from the noise disturbances, it was basically as advertised...a no frills alternative in a fairly convenient location to the ND campus.

The hotel tried to say we didn’t pay already when we did. Then Victor got upset because I went to my phone to prove that a payment came out. Then they charged me an extra $205 dollars and the only way I knew that was I seen the pending charge. Then they tried to lie and explain it away. Saying that it will not come out. It’s still pending this morning so we will see. The room was nice but the tub was disgusting. Pic below.
