Stayed two nights over a weekend to visit family. Comfortable beds & pillows. Room as expected with option to clean or not as needed. Bathroom could use an upgrade mostly because there was not exhaust vent & the toilet needed maintenance since it kept running plus it would be nice if it was not so low to the floor. Good for a small child but not for a very tall person or a senior citizen with bad knees. Front desk staff were excellent. Breakfast included & it did have a nice choice of self service.

I have been a guest of this hotel in February, March, June and July, 2022. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming! The check in is always first class! Ivonne is amazing, so efficient, professional and kind! Alli has helped me too! The rooms are very clean, organized and very quiet. I have stayed on the 2nd, 5th and 6th floors. Housekeeping is very efficient. The $1 breakfast is fantastic! Mila and Nina and the cook ladies are wonderful! The food is very good and a good selection too! I have been in touch with Mr. Lowe, the General Manager on several occasions to touch base prior to my many stays. He is the ultimate professional and it shows in his staff and leadership. I am SO very grateful to Mr. Lowe, the amazing Ivonne, Alli, Mila, Nina, Housekeeping and others as well! I will return soon to my home away from home, Holiday Inn, Orange Park, Florida! Thank you! just another motel 6. they had roaches , had to pay 50 deposit when i left the lady said it would take a few days to get it back it has been a week and i still haven't got it back. when i called a woman said that she couldnt even find me in there system, which is funny because i didnt book through anyone i went to them and i was just there last weekend. dont drink out of the glasses/cups in room they had some nasty looking stuff in it. room is ok stay if u have no other choices, but i want my deposit back. the best thing there was the shower it got really heat and felt good.

We had recently moved from the area (2 weeks) and had to come back for my husband's cardiac catherization. He crashed in the cath lab and had to be rushed to emergency open heart surgery and coronary bypass. That extended our stay from 2 nights to 2 weeks. From the very first night Isaac did an outstanding job of accomodating us. After I had to extend my stay he bent over backwards to help me. The following week I met the person whom he was training( I believe). I did not get her name, however she is as wonderful as he. I then met Ashley, she is an absolute doll and did everything in her power to accommodate us on her side. I then met the manager, who I requested to meet so I could tell her how wonderful they all are. Through all my anguish and tears they made my time there so much better! I am and we are grateful to have had encountered such wonderful people. The hotel is clean and well kept. The location is perfect. We are super satisfied customers. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

We were on our way home and choose this based on average reviews, just needed a place for overnight without robbing the bank! We have not done a road trip in several years, and what I found, Florida average hotels are not up to standards at all off interstates! I live in Florida, and I will say, the hotels in many cases are ripoffs for what you get! True, we have been open more after Covid, but they definitely are not cleaned to that protocol! The outside looked fine in front, shrubs etc. trimmed. The pool area looked good, these are the positives. The bed seemed newer and was comfortable. Now negatives, staff not friendly, room was nasty dirty, used wet wipes to clean off counters etc. The floor in bath area had not been mopped in who knows when!? Your shoes stuck to it, gross! Then the carpet was so dirty, my husband’s feet were black as well as bottom of my shoes! He just finished cleaning our shoes when we got home! The toilet ran all night, yes, told desk person in a.m. This hotel is used a lot for construction workers so it seems, as they hang out drinking & smoking on staircases after work. Also, seems to be some long term clients that have dog running loose, tried to get in our room when we opened the door?! Walls are thin, you can listen to Rap music! Also, need to take off web free breakfast and there is no vending machine. With TLC, this hotel could be brought up to standards & is a better choice than the other 2 at this interchange. The location is good with plenty of restaurants and shopping plaza, all seems pretty new. Clean it up and get rid of the rif raf!

We stayed two new nights at this hotel, and looking back, I don’t know how we stayed the second night. There were a few issues of concern during our stay this weekend. Firstly, there were two bath towels even though I booked the room for three adults. Secondly, the sheets on one bed were definitely not clean. There was hair on the sheets in various places. There were multiple live roaches and palmetto bugs in the bathroom. They were hiding underneath the toliet seat! There seemed to be a steady stream of men in and out of the room next door and noise all night. I had higher expectations after reading reviews from previous customers. The paint in the bathroom was chipping and there were no small amenities like a hair dryer. To be honest, it was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had.

We were on our way home and choose this based on average reviews, just needed a place for overnight without robbing the bank! We have not done a road trip in several years, and what I found, Florida average hotels are not up to standards at all off interstates! I live in Florida, and I will say, the hotels in many cases are ripoffs for what you get! True, we have been open more after Covid, but they definitely are not cleaned to that protocol! The outside looked fine in front, shrubs etc. trimmed. The pool area looked good, these are the positives. The bed seemed newer and was comfortable. Now negatives, staff not friendly, room was nasty dirty, used wet wipes to clean off counters etc. The floor in bath area had not been mopped in who knows when!? Your shoes stuck to it, gross! Then the carpet was so dirty, my husband’s feet were black as well as bottom of my shoes! He just finished cleaning our shoes when we got home! The toilet ran all night, yes, told desk person in a.m. This hotel is used a lot for construction workers so it seems, as they hang out drinking & smoking on staircases after work. Also, seems to be some long term clients that have dog running loose, tried to get in our room when we opened the door?! Walls are thin, you can listen to Rap music! Also, need to take off web free breakfast and there is no vending machine. With TLC, this hotel could be brought up to standards & is a better choice than the other 2 at this interchange. The location is good with plenty of restaurants and shopping plaza, all seems pretty new. Clean it up and get rid of the rif raf!

We stayed two new nights at this hotel, and looking back, I don’t know how we stayed the second night. There were a few issues of concern during our stay this weekend. Firstly, there were two bath towels even though I booked the room for three adults. Secondly, the sheets on one bed were definitely not clean. There was hair on the sheets in various places. There were multiple live roaches and palmetto bugs in the bathroom. They were hiding underneath the toliet seat! There seemed to be a steady stream of men in and out of the room next door and noise all night. I had higher expectations after reading reviews from previous customers. The paint in the bathroom was chipping and there were no small amenities like a hair dryer. To be honest, it was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had.

just another motel 6. they had roaches , had to pay 50 deposit when i left the lady said it would take a few days to get it back it has been a week and i still haven't got it back. when i called a woman said that she couldnt even find me in there system, which is funny because i didnt book through anyone i went to them and i was just there last weekend. dont drink out of the glasses/cups in room they had some nasty looking stuff in it. room is ok stay if u have no other choices, but i want my deposit back. the best thing there was the shower it got really heat and felt good.

Bathroom could use an upgrade mostly because there was not exhaust vent & the toilet needed maintenance since it kept running plus it would be nice if it was not so low to the floor. Good for a small child but not for a very tall person or a senior citizen with bad knees. Front desk staff were excellent. Breakfast included & it did have a nice choice of self service.

After driving up from Ft Meyers I was exhausted and the hotels are somewhat limited on highway 301. My girlfriend and I figured we were gambling on staying at this Best Western but I couldn't keep my eyes open much longer. I staggered in at almost midnight and the man behind the counter had a big smile, I explained how tired I was, he gave us a great room, close to the office, air conditioning blowing, comfortable bed, never heard a sound all night, hot shower, and a great breakfast after checking out. We weren't sure about staying at this small hotel but this place has made me a Best Western customer for life. I can't explain how much I appreciated the hospitality you gave to us that night. Also, one thing that stood out was when I told the guy at the desk how tired I was and I REALLY needed some rest he said that if any of the residents were noisy just to let him know. It was quiet all night but that was pretty cool of him to show his concern. A++++ for this hotel

JUST A NOTE TO CANADIAN SENIOR TRAVELERS: The Canadian CARP is NOT RECOGNISED as the same as the American AARP, unlike the partnership with the CAA and AAA. I am afraid I have to agree with all the ONE and TWO STAR ratings of this place....and certainly it is NOT THE FAULT OF THE under-paid employees!!! (A shout out to Cameron who was EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL to me with my late arrival and some issues I needed addressed). As stated in a previous review, this is a corporate MOTEL6 problem which obviously does NOT MONITOR their franchisees. This is an older building which has been trying to maintain itself in this pretty town on the lovely mid-state Hwy 301. There is certainly not the constant truck noise now the by-pass has been built but this also siphons off possible customers. But trains still pass through and announce themselves at the crossings with their horns so if you are a light sleeper you will be awakened several times during the night. As far as the room is concerned....this is bare bones BUDGET accommodation. The initial musty smell when you enter is very difficult to get rid of even after using the HVAC system. Although the bedding is moderately comfortable there was an absolutely disgusting bedspread with holes and stains . Why would anybody put that on a bed????? The bathroom tub had mold and tiles falling off the wall and the bathroom fixtures are ancient and worn. This is a one and done for me.

I have been a guest of this hotel in February, March, June and July, 2022. The hotel is modern, clean and welcoming! The check in is always first class! Ivonne is amazing, so efficient, professional and kind! Alli has helped me too! The rooms are very clean, organized and very quiet. I have stayed on the 2nd, 5th and 6th floors. Housekeeping is very efficient. The $1 breakfast is fantastic! Mila and Nina and the cook ladies are wonderful! The food is very good and a good selection too! I have been in touch with Mr. Lowe, the General Manager on several occasions to touch base prior to my many stays. He is the ultimate professional and it shows in his staff and leadership. I am SO very grateful to Mr. Lowe, the amazing Ivonne, Alli, Mila, Nina, Housekeeping and others as well! I will return soon to my home away from home, Holiday Inn, Orange Park, Florida! Thank you! We had recently moved from the area (2 weeks) and had to come back for my husband's cardiac catherization. He crashed in the cath lab and had to be rushed to emergency open heart surgery and coronary bypass. That extended our stay from 2 nights to 2 weeks. From the very first night Isaac did an outstanding job of accomodating us. After I had to extend my stay he bent over backwards to help me. The following week I met the person whom he was training( I believe). I did not get her name, however she is as wonderful as he. I then met Ashley, she is an absolute doll and did everything in her power to accommodate us on her side. I then met the manager, who I requested to meet so I could tell her how wonderful they all are. Through all my anguish and tears they made my time there so much better! I am and we are grateful to have had encountered such wonderful people. The hotel is clean and well kept. The location is perfect. We are super satisfied customers. Thanks so much for your hospitality.
