3 star hotel, stanard room was a comfortable size double and a single bed, breakfast was included with our stay, which was great, good selection to choose from. Stayed here with our tour group. Staff were great and very helpful. Aircon was OK, dripped condensation on the single bed. Room location was good over looking the pool area with a very small balcony. Great views from the 9th floor. Location was OK, nothing special or close to much. Lovely reception area clearly has had a facelift, but sadly not the rooms. Bathroom was good, just needed a better clean.

I came to Hue with the Runners of Quang Tri to participate in the Marathon organized by Hue City. Knowing about Victory Hotel thanks to the Chief of the Group to book a room, at first there was not much hope for the room, but in contrast to what I thought before, Victory Hotel brought me a strange comfort. Fast and enthusiastic check-in procedure; clean - airy rooms. Spacious parking, 2 dedicated receptionists. With such facilities and facilities, I think this will be the ideal destination for those who have and are planning to come to Hue to visit and travel. If I have the opportunity to come to Hue, I will visit the hotel again. Thank you Hue, thank you very much Victory!

We had a truly fantastic stay at the Chum Bucket. The staff (in particular Ricky) went above and beyond to help us and make our stay perfect. We had laundry turned around in record time and our room was immaculate. Incredibly clean, very large and very comfortable bed. Shower was hot and powerful and towels so fluffy. Walking distance to most things in Hue too. Would recommend to anyone - phenomenal value for money! (We were a couple).

This hotel is really good value for money! Although it is not on the main street, the path to enter is very short, the floor tiles are very flat, and the environment is very clean, unlike many small Vietnamese alleys. After entering the door, the check-in was quick, the front desk was enthusiastic, neat and thoughtful! While waiting to be processed, we will provide free delicious juices and fruits, ask if you need to book a drop-off service, and deliver your luggage to your room first. After you finish eating, you will be sent to your room, and a particularly detailed and tidy map will be provided, suggesting your travel route according to your schedule, and telling all attractions the opening time. There is another fruit in the room! The room is not too big but it is enough, the decoration is very elegant and exquisite, and the sanitation level is no exaggeration to say that it is a five-star level, which is the best among so many hotels in Vietnam. The soundproofing of the room is very good. The room opposite to me is the SPA room. No noise was heard all day. Eat breakfast the next day, the locomotive is scheduled to arrive, and I will remind you on time. The breakfast is also very good. The waiter will take the initiative to ask you to choose Hue rice noodles or Western-style omelettes, as well as tea, milk or coffee. The location is also great! It’s only a 35-minute walk from the area where there are many cafes and restaurants, and the surrounding area is very delicious. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the imperial city, and the taxi is very cheap. This is the best hotel I have stayed in Vietnam! Full marks! Thank you very much for providing me with such a pleasant travel experience.

I know Mrs Trinh won’t like this review and despite her constantly grabbing my arm and telling me everything was ok, is was not. She may view me as a difficult woman but I am very well travelled, used to live in Asia and I can only tell the truth from what we experienced. I asked before we arrived, if possible, we would like a high floor or top floor room - oh how I wish I hadn’t asked. I take responsibility for asking for the top floor but regardless they shouldn’t give out substandard rooms and especially not at the price they charged. We arrived after 10pm, to find Mrs Trinh shouting at a member of staff and turning to us, telling us he was giving her big problems as he has given away the top floor room. We were then made to wait while they woke some poor person up and made them move, which made us very uncomfortable. When we finally got in the room it was truly horrible. Tiled from ceiling to floor it felt like sleeping in a public toilet. The sink plumbing wasn’t connected and poured all over the floor and you had to hold the shower in your hand as the wall attachment was broken and room did not feel clean. The balcony was literally one foot wide, so forget about sitting on it and the door didn’t lock. There was no view anyway. The sheets were stained and had a hole in. If we had paid the normal £10-15 maybe it was all fair enough but because of the public holiday we were charged £45 !!!!!! No where else in Vietnam did we suffer such a price hike. Our next hotel in Hoi An was glorious with a pool and was £12 whilst still in the public holiday period. We asked to move the next day and had a better room but checked out a day early. If you pay £10-15 fair enough but whatever you do, don’t ask for the top floor. I suspect it might be staff accommodated, if not, waking up a paying guest late at night and making them move is unacceptable. Truthfully our worse hotel experience in Vietnam and we moved on a day early.

Although it is not on the main street, the path to enter is very short, the floor tiles are very flat, and the environment is very clean, unlike many small Vietnamese alleys. After entering the door, the check-in was quick, the front desk was enthusiastic, neat and thoughtful! While waiting to be processed, we will provide free delicious juices and fruits, ask if you need to book a drop-off service, and deliver your luggage to your room first. After you finish eating, you will be sent to your room, and a particularly detailed and tidy map will be provided, suggesting your travel route according to your schedule, and telling all attractions the opening time. There is another fruit in the room! The room is not too big but it is enough, the decoration is very elegant and exquisite, and the sanitation level is no exaggeration to say that it is a five-star level, which is the best among so many hotels in Vietnam. The soundproofing of the room is very good. The room opposite to me is the SPA room. No noise was heard all day. Eat breakfast the next day, the locomotive is scheduled to arrive, and I will remind you on time. The breakfast is also very good. The waiter will take the initiative to ask you to choose Hue rice noodles or Western-style omelettes, as well as tea, milk or coffee. The location is also great! It’s only a 35-minute walk from the area where there are many cafes and restaurants, and the surrounding area is very delicious. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the imperial city, and the taxi is very cheap. This is the best hotel I have stayed in Vietnam! Full marks! GGuest UserThe lovely owner Quy and his wife absolutely bent over backwards to look after me during my stay here. A few examples: I couldn’t find a DMZ tour that was running, so Quy organised a trip with a friend of his by private car for a very reasonable price. I bought a bus ticket to Hoi An and the bus company rang the hotel to cancel- by the time I found out about it, the owners had already been on the phone trying to find me an alternative. I could not have asked for a better experience, thank you so much Quy and your lovely family for making me so welcome. I should also say that the room was lovely and extremely clean, plus it was in a great location. I would recommend Canary Boutique to anyone but particularly solo travelers as the level of care I got here absolutely floored me. Would give them 11/10 if I could!

GGuest UserWe had a truly fantastic stay at the Chum Bucket. The staff (in particular Ricky) went above and beyond to help us and make our stay perfect. We had laundry turned around in record time and our room was immaculate. Incredibly clean, very large and very comfortable bed. Shower was hot and powerful and towels so fluffy. Walking distance to most things in Hue too. Would recommend to anyone - phenomenal value for money! (We were a couple).

GGuest UserLovely hotel, great location for little street markets, the river and local restaurants. The staff here are outstandingly thoughtful and helpful, always welcoming and cheerful. My friend had a broken ankle and the staff were really kind. He was also able to borrow a hotel wheelchair which enabled him to get out and about much more than if he'd only been able to use his crutches.

GGuest UserI stayed on the 3rd floor. I booked a Superior Room through Trip.com and somehow when I arrived they assumed I had used another platform. I didn't mind, as long as they arrange the room that I had booked. The room was different, it was on the first floor and it didn't have a balcony. After I told them I had booked a room with a balcony they took me to the 3rd floor to a room that was noticeably smaller. I didn't mind because I was just visiting a friend and I was going to use the room just for sleeping and working online. The wifi signal is low so it disconnects all the time, at least it did in my balcony room on the 3rd floor.
My booking included buffet breakfast and it was good. They offered a combination of Western and local dishes and a variety of drinks. However, when I checked out they couldn't find my reservation. Lobby staff handed me the bill and it took me about 10-15 minutes to convince them while showing them my emails from Trip.com that the room had been already paid.
My recommendation is that if you're going to stay with them and you plan on driving around Hue, stay there! Its location is excellent and they have a parking spot for your motorbike. There are many options for restaurants, local food, shops and such nearby the hotel even if you're going to be moving by Grab. I loved the location and the food was good.

GGuest UserI came to Hue with the Runners of Quang Tri to participate in the Marathon organized by Hue City. Knowing about Victory Hotel thanks to the Chief of the Group to book a room, at first there was not much hope for the room, but in contrast to what I thought before, Victory Hotel brought me a strange comfort. Fast and enthusiastic check-in procedure; clean - airy rooms. Spacious parking, 2 dedicated receptionists. With such facilities and facilities, I think this will be the ideal destination for those who have and are planning to come to Hue to visit and travel. If I have the opportunity to come to Hue, I will visit the hotel again. Thank you Hue, thank you very much Victory!

GGuest UserExcellent location in the ancient part of the city, away from touristy commercial hell. I stayed alone in a bedroom with a double bed. The walls are very thin and the family that runs the hotel starts their activities at 5AM with pretty loud talking, so you'll need earplugs if noise bothers you like me. The equipment was basic but had everything I needed: aircon, hot water (albeit with a quite small heater that allowed for 10 minutes or so). You can rent motorbikes on location and the staff is helpful even in spite of the language barrier. Good value for your money
