First of all, the environment is OK, relatively quiet, the nearby Plaza can be driven for a few minutes. Disadvantages, the facilities are old, even damaged, some rooms have a smell, accurately is damp moldy smell, concentrated in the living room, very affecting the accommodation experience. The SPA pool is very foamy and the disinfectant bleach tastes very strong and is not very good.
In short, if you want affordable suite space, it is OK. But after all, it's a penny, don't expect too much from here. If you want a good suite, choose some high-end hotels.
paper towels always great place to stay at price is always right they may not have a restaurant anymore but they have a convenience store icoffee everything open 24 hours
So 2 of my colleagues and myself, checked in on 1/3 for a company training for one week. The company paid for room, tax, parking and breakfast daily. I was asked for my card for incidentals (who even has incidentals anymore since everyone has a cellphone and a Netflix account, but I digress). My card was charged $1,000 for incidentals. Yes, you saw that correctly, $1,000. When I called down to the front desk, I was told it was a mistake and they apologized. They also comped my dinner for the evening. No worries, continued my week of training. I noticed however, at the end of the week, the $1,000 was still on my card. When I asked why, I was told by a different front desk agent that the hold was put on my card ”just in case my bosses card did not go through.” What? So if I was traveling on vacation, would they ask for my best friend's card ”just in case my card didn't go through?” Again, the apology, and EVENTUALLY the money was put back on my card. Fast forward to our 2nd week of training. This time, I called the hotel directly to express my displeasure with the previous week. I was assured that there would be no issues. And was told they had staff that was training. Myself and my same 2 colleagues check in again on 1/10. I give my card for incidentals. A $40 hold this time. Perfect! We are off to a great start. The stay went well. And no issues when checking out. Until today. There is a $20 and a $48 CHARGE, not a hold, to my card. I call the hotel, and was told the $48 was for parking and they have no idea what the $20 charge is for. What? So they did a credit for the $48, but said I need to call the bank for the $20. Marriott is normally my go-to for travel but i have never heard of this crazy policy of charging a guest's card ”just in case the company card declines.” Needless to say, I will be letting my company know about this. They should definitely find another hotel to put employees in when coming to town.

Nice. We had a few minor few problems but two employes, Christy and Patty, stepped way up to take care of us, we couldn't had nicer and better people helping us than them. The only negative about is ”The Bistro” prices are way to high but you can walk a block either way from the hotel and there was great places to eat.
The rooms are spacious, had room to set up two work stations. House keeping was great and kept us supplied with coffee. The outdoor pool is heated and the Hot Tub was welcoming; even in 66 degree weather. Toast to Toast is a full service restaurant in the hotel, the Breakfast Buffet was fantastic. Management and staff were very friendly. The bar was the highlight, Lorrie was the best bartender!, keeping everything going in the evening. The manager made a great Bloody Mary for breakfast too.
We had the opportunity to stay at this location for the last part of July. We had a number of swimmers that were attending two separate swim meets and the hotel was beyond accommodating. Rooms were clean, swimmers were fed each morning (and that is a huge feat), and the staff bent over backwards to ensure the conference room was cleaned before each team meeting.
Check-in was a breeze: friendly and quick. They gave me what I asked for: the quietest room. So, when I started noticing problems, I decided not to ask for another room. I've stayed at Motel 6s, so I knew that the spot next to the window usually has a table and chairs. My room didn't; it was just a big empty space. I was alone, so I didn't really need the table; I sat in the one chair along the desk at the side of the room. I went to plug in my computer, and... there was only *one* free outlet in the entire room -- except at the bathroom! (See the photo.) (Hint: I've learned to bring a long extension cord and power strip for rooms like these.) I tried to turn on the light over the desk; it didn't work. When I looked inside the fixture, the light bulb was *missing*. The light fixture over the big empty space on the floor had just one working bulb; the other was either missing or burned out. Luckily, the light over the washbasin was bright, so I used it to light the room. I went to the basin to wash my hands. When I turned the faucet to hot, only a tiny trickle came out. (See the photo.) I decided to wash my hands in the bathtub. Then I noticed that the tub spout wasn't clean: it had a film of minerals. The tub had a couple of tears, some rusty stains, and... two co**** black hairs several inches long! I went to get a hand towel; there was only one, and it was hanging out of the towel rack (see photo)... there were no washcloths. I plugged my computer into my extension cord to use the WiFi. The computer said the signal was strong. As usual, my browser opened a login page, but then I waited... it took almost a minute for the login page to appear! I went to the speed test website (TripAdvisor probably won't let me give the URL). I had 0.99 Mbps download and 0.50 Mbps upload -- which is super-slow. (This was at 4:30pm. The speed stayed the same for hours after.) I tried to upload pictures from my phone's camera to Google Photos... uploading 80 photos took two and a half hours! When I logged in again later, I noticed a space for an ”upgrade code, if purchased.” Maybe the motel entices us with their sign by the street advertising WiFi, but making us pay more if we want to do almost anything with it? Luckily, I didn't need it so I didn't try it. There was a fair amount of paint missing from parts of the exterior walls and gang graffiti by the stairwell at the back corner of the motel. For some reason -- although the days of soda and beer in bottles are mostly gone -- there was an old rusty bottle opener fixture attached underneath the washbasin. I'm not heavy, but the bed sagged in the middle. At least the parking lot was clean.
In my over a decade loyalty to Marriott, have I never been treated the way this hotel treated us. The GM Ryan Fitzpatrick and Front Desk Agent Susette Gonzales have totally ruined the Marriott brand! I was forced to pay a higher rate because I was a Veteran, and not considered a federal employee. I booked on the app, and chose the Govt./Military rate, and was given the rate of $120 for the Govt./Military option. When we came to check in, she stated that the actual rate was $182, and that the app was incorrect. I also called the Titanium Elite line, and they confirmed that the hotel should honor the rate because we showed proper identification. Susette and the GM Ryan refused to honor the rate the app gave, and increase our nightly rate! Ryan stated, I cannot give you that rate because you are just military, and not considered a federal or state employee. If this is the way Marriott treats the Disabled Veteran community, it’s unfortunate. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY, they have no respect for your service!
Hotel is quite new and very clean, but needing maintenance with some of their equipment. When we checked in, there was only a room available facing the highway. It was so noisy and added with the construction that's currently goin on, it was unbearable. So we asked to move to another room away from the highway. We managed to move to another room, checked into the room, and found out that the food disposal machine was broken as the previous guest who stayed in has put in a plastic cap cover into the food disposal machine. We had to call the maintenance to take it out. After it was taken out, we found out that the machine was broken and when the food disposal machine was turned on, the whole kitchen sink shakes and gives a very loud noise. We asked hotel to put us in a different room but rooms were unavailable. We suggested to have the maintenance team switched the disposal machine from another available rooms that is empty, but they were unable to do so. Because of this, our whole stay was quite unbearable, as whenever we enter our room, we had to smell the wet garbage that was supposed to go into the disposal machine for our next 8 days there (we booked our stay for 10 days). We asked few times to the front desk if they can fix it, they can't do anything about it as they said they have no idea when the parts will arrive. Not only that, I thought Marriott has a No noise policy after 10p.m as stated in their hotel stay policy, and no guests should be partying at the pool area. However, on the night that we stayed there, about 12 plus people plus kids was partying down next to the pool and it was really loud and they stayed till about 11.30p.m. When we called the front desk to complaint, there's no one picking up the phone. The flooring of each floor was also very thin as when the upstairs guests was moving on around or dragged the heavy metal chairs, the noise was just really bad. We had to call the front desk at midnight and an unfriendly night front desk gentleman was not helpful and not keen on resolving the problem. Till after my 2-3 night calls more for the next few days then the noise subsided. One of the morning front desk was really nice though. I can't remember her name but when I told her about the problem, she right away was understanding and note the problem and said will resolve the problem. After that, the noise was really manageable. Perhaps hotel should put something under those chairs so when its dragged around the room, it doesn't make so much noise to the room below. Hotel does not offer any resolution for the food disposal, not managing their hotel No noise policy well, and only a handful of the front desk person was nice. Being a Titanium Elite member and stayed with so many Marriott hotel for the past 20 years, its definitely been the most disturbing & disappointing stay. Not only we get sleepless nights, we get smelly room to stay in as well. If it was not a pre-booked stay, we would have moved to an

Discovery Science Center
Ccoo***anWe've recently completed the end of four years of annual family memberships as our kids are getting older, although we still plan to visit occasionally for free Bank of America museum days (Sundays on the first weekend of every month). Additionally, our memberships included the ASTC Travel Passport program, which we've used to visit other science museums around the country for free. It's a great deal for any local.
