I normally dont expect much from limited service hotels, and have had good experiences with Aloft in the past. But unfortunately this wasn't the case this time around. Putting aside that we were assigment proobably the worse room in the hotel, which doesn't bother me since we just needed a place to stay, what really stood out was the lack of customer service. They were either very young and seemed they didn't want to be there or they just were apathetic and seemed bother if you spoke to them. The guest rooms were Ok, but had very little lighting, which made a bit difficult at times. It wasn't a horrible experience, but unfortunately wouldn't stay there again.
Nice, the room is spacious, the hotel is fully equipped and the parking is convenient. The breakfast is not very rich, the waiter is also diligent to provide services, and strive for tips. Can recommend, go to Chinese restaurants, supermarkets, all kinds of convenience.
The room was clean and tidy and comfortable, and the location was very good. It was about 20 minutes drive from Dallas City, the airport and several satellite cities around it. The parking lot outside the hotel is also very spacious.
Breakfast is very rich and self-catering. The room is divided into upper and lower floors, a total of two large beds, the room is fully equipped, suitable for multi-person travel, parking spaces are many, travel is convenient! !
Yes, the room is very clean, the space is large, and there is a domestic four-star feeling. On the side is 75, not far from 635, not far from the car rental and gas stations, to the city, the airport and outlets are not far.
I've had good experiences with this hotel in the past, but...clearly, something has changed. Day 1 of visit—ice machine on my floor doesn’t work. OK, tried floor above (“executive floor, if it doesn’t work there, it won’t work anywhere), but that machine is broken also. No signs indicating where machines might work. Day two of visit, gas leak suspected, no hot food or hot water. Asked front desk to find a ”sister” property (Renaissance is part of Marriott) where I might get a shower. Person promised to get back to me, but never did. Day 3 of visit, cockroach in my room. Also, Starbucks in lobby (run by hotel) has no ”milk frother” and thus it takes 10 minutes to get a coffee. Note that coffee in hotel restaurant is terrible. Day 4 of visit, Starbucks has no espresso. When I (politely) state that this is unacceptable and want to speak with a manager, employee refuses to get the night duty manager saying that I can find him myself. All days of visit except for one, housekeeping leaves dirty glasses (obviously used) in my room and on one day (so far--I'm still there) fails to leave toiletries that were obviously needed. Each of these problems alone isn't that big a deal. However, taken together they suggest significant problems for a brand that paints itself as somewhat upscale. Day 5 after complaining, espresso machine still broken, ice machines doesn’t work and no signage to where they do. Lovely charcuterie board left in my room with a note from the manager (also received an email), but strawberry in Charcuterie is molding. Don't waste your money...
