We absolutely love this hotel and the staff. The cleanest hotel ever with the best people working there! The front desk staff treated us like long lost friends. The breakfast staff were the best and each morning ask if we were ok and did we need anything. Just the best all around stay in a beautiful small town.

The hotel has a beautiful environment. It is a pleasure to go out for a walk in the morning. The only downside is that the breakfast is too monotonous.

Amazing customer service!! This hospitality team goes above and beyond!! I foolishly left behind a favorite ring of mine, that I've had more than 20 years, on the desk while staying there. When I realized it was missing the following day, after checking out and driving more than 300 miles, my heart sank and I figured it was gone forever. I called the hotel and spoke with the manager and she promptly confirmed the housekeeping staff had found the ring and that they would mail it to me right away. I was ecstatic! Such amazing service! They even followed up with me to provide a tracking number once it had shipped. It arrived a few days later and I will forever be thankful for their amazing care and hospitality! THANK YOU!!

Excellent and well maintained hotel. All employees that I interacted with were a delight and so helpful. In particular, Janet at the front desk who checked me in. I asked for a good local restaurant and she recommended a place. By the time I got to my room, she had taken it upon herself to call the restaurant and make sure they were still open. They were not. Janet not only called my room to let me know, she had another restaurant to recommend and it was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this newer property. The room and amenities were great and the staff was even better!

10/5/22 My daughter and I were visiting her alma mater, Bucknell, and stayed at the Quality Inn, New Columbia. The outside of the hotel was beautifully decorated for Fall with mums and scarecrows, corn stalks, etc. The lobby was also very autumn themed, maybe a little bit too much, but still lovely. Our room was just average. My complaints: *no light in the closet area-great that the closet doors are mirrors, but you can't see to do anything there *dust on the lower shelf of the tv/bureau cabinet, you could write your name in it *auto light in the bathroom, no one needs that when using the bathroom at 2 am *hair on the vanity, and a lot of it *all bureau drawers had crumbs so had obviously not been wiped out in a while *carpeting is very old The price of the room was good, especially considering it was Bucknell Homecoming weekend. The fitness room was well equipped and all machines in working order. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was just okay. The only ”hot” item was the waffles if you cared to make them. All in all, I don't think I would choose to stay here again. However, that being said, we were in a 1st floor room, the upper level rooms might have been better. But, I don't think there was an elevator, so that's a consideration also. Again, great staff but the hotel needs major work.

It wasn't ALL bad, but it definitely needs improvements. Hoping the new management is up to the task and that they can bring this hotel back to its old glory days. Get a suite if you get anything here-- super clean. That said, the mattress/wall stunk of not sure what. Many of the rooms just plain stink even though the maid has the rooms cleaned well so it must be in the walls or air conditioner or system from bad hotel guests. The laundry mat is yucky -- saw a guy in there with his belly hanging out sleeping in the laundry mat so I drove to a local laundromat. Smelled **** coming from the back of the hotel desk lobby in the late afternoon. The good: the management and maid were very helpful and kind and the food at the adjoining Mexican restaurant El Torito, looked like a little dive but the food was AMAZING. The location of the hotel is excellent -- near most main activities and attractions. If you book here, ask to see a room FIRST. Feel sorry for new management- they have their work cut out for them. If they could just get the smell out, and update and bring in a nicer class of people, it would be well worth it.
