GGuest UserThis is a beautiful resort located in the middle of the canyon. It's a little bit far from the town, however, you get really connected with nature. I had a room facing the canyon, it's beautiful like you are living solo with nature. The sunlight is great, the rooms are clean and cozy. It does need some maintenance as it gets old over time, however, they are very comfortable to stay in. The best thing I love is the energy in the house and around. Stuff are super nice there and easy to work with.

Right off the bat I should say that this type of accommodation isn't my thing. I am an elitist snob and I don't particularly go for this type of stay but we were with some international students we host so we thought this would be an interesting experience and it was certainly that, and not bad at all. We took one of the static RVs on the site, and there were 5 of us to fit into the two bedroom RV, with one person on the sofa bed in the kitchen/dining area. I think this makes it crowded and space is definitely at a premium. However first off, we arrived a little early but our unit was ready and we were able to move in before going to see the sunset at the Grand Canyon which is about an hours drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful as they were throughout. Be aware that there are all sorts of draconian penalties for what is obviously considered unacceptable behaviors. For example: smoking - $350 fine, not cleaning up after your dog - $350, Making noise after 10pm - $350. So don't come here if you are looking for a rowdy weekend with friends where you plan to smoke **** all night. The upside of this is that it is quiet and peaceful. The units are tight in terms of space, as one would expect. As others have mentioned, the hot water in the RV in housed in a 12 gallon tank or something which is good for a 7 minute shower we were told. I tried to take a quick shower in the tiny cubicle in the ensuite room, but the water was cold, even though we had the heater on. I think there may have been an issue with that shower as the heater is generally efficient and heats the small amount of water in the tank very fast. A better option is to walk to the reception building where there are showers with unlimited hot water. In the men's shower block there were 3 cubicles to use. This is fine but, beware that it mens a walk from your RV with towels etc. Not ideal when it is cold of course. There is a small kitchen but honestly, you don't want to be preparing meals here if you can avoid it. We brought our won food and heating it up with minimal preparation was fine but I wouldn't want to cook a meal from scratch here. There is heating and A/C but you need to play with the controls (2 thermostats) to get the balance right. It can be cold in the late fall here so you do need that heating. There is also a nice heater (faux fire) in the kitchen. They claim their RVs are brand new but that must have been a while ago. There were signs of wear in our unit although it was very clean. The beds are not super comfortable, simply a mattress sat on a plywood base that looked as though it had seen better days. I can sleep anywhere but the lack of comfort might be an issue for some. It's not a huge issue. The location is fine, just off the main highway but the surrounding scenery is pleasant if not spectacular. There is some road noise but I never found it bothersome. Upon checking in, the owner of the hotel and who also owns Country Inn and Rodeway Inn in Page, Az, his name is Deepak, asked us why we have service dogs and what disease we have to have service dogs. We’re too tired to argue with him after driving for 9 hours from Los Angeles. We showed him the service dog IDs and told him the disease we have. The owner, Deepak, even told us that it is illegal to ask what disease we have but he still wants to know since he’s the owner and he claimed that people lie. We were placed on the ground floor because of the service dogs when our room that we booked through booking.com has a mountaintop view and balcony. Our room didn’t have a balcony or mountain view, it was facing the parking lot. We booked for a deluxe king suite. Also, one of the sinks was clogged up. We could not wait for the handyman to do the repair since we have to rush out to our scheduled tour. The breakfast was TERRIBLE. There were no juices, cereal and milk available as advertised. The frozen breakfast sandwich was awful. The muffin was ok. When we asked for breakfast, the girl at the front desk said they didn’t have any. When I insisted to check the back room, she came back with a box full of sandwiches and muffins. I asked her why do you to have to lie and her response was do not give me a bad day. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We feel we were defrauded. Very bad customer service. We complained to Booking.com but they did not document our complaint accurately. We’re really disappointed with both the hotel and booking.com.

1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.
2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging.
3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened.
5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly.
6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room.
7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity.
Now, the negative:
1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno.
3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent.
4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up.
Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.

GGuest UserThe hotel is better than expected. Ramada is good in China, but in the United States, it is considered an average hotel. It is clean and tidy, and the bedding is very comfortable. I personally recommend it, but it is a little far away from the Nanxia Scenic Spot! Nice to have an indoor pool too!

JJoshiStayed here during my trip to the grand canyon since it was one of the most economic options in the area. The room that I was initially given had a faulty TV, a fridge that leaked, broken AC, and shower faucets that were loose and was difficult to turn on. Once we got it turned on, we had to call in a staff member to help us turn it off. Thankfully the staff was understanding and switched us to a new room that was MUCH better. We were only there for a night, and it was largely comfortable.
Besides the initial shock of so many faulty equipment in that one room, everything else was fine.

GGuest UserIt was a decent room for a motel. Novel and cool and all the things you need in the room. Good firm beds & Lots of blankets too with a 2 blankets on each bed even. Lots of space & a lil mini kitchen. The Only issue was no parking in front of our room but that’s due to other people bringing multiple vehicles I think. And a grab to go breakfast was pretty junky-2 cupcake like mini muffins/juice box and granola bar. Not very healthy. But overall a good stay.

GGuest UserGrowing up in Arizona I have passed by this place numerous times over the decades but had never stayed here before. My wife and I are on post retirement a roadtrip and picked this place because of it's close proximity to the downtown area. First, the place is old and worn and not well kept. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is decrepit. The comforter on the bed was old and worn out and had cigarette burn holes in it. My wife had lost something on our trip and called back to the hotel to see if it might have been left behind in the room and found the staff very unhelpful. Distinctly and remarkably so. When she called she was told that they were too busy and that she should call back later. When she did she had to REPEATEDLY tell them when we were there, the room number and what we were looking for. After repeated attempts over several minutes she became disconnected in the call and decided it wasn't worth the effort to try again. The place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
