Hotel location is excellent, parking is free, quiet and safe, the room is spacious and bright, the shower room is large, the washing environment is super satisfied, I will look for this hotel in the future, I hope to keep it, it is indeed a recommended hotel in San Diego South - Chula Vista
I was a bit hesitant at first, but I grew to appreciate the hotel over the four night stay recently. The front desk staff are eager to accommodate and friendly, as are all the staff. So onto the specifics: Area: Loved Chula Vista! Felt safe walking around day or night, lots of amenities nearby (7-Eleven next door, mall, restaurants, AMC theatre within walking distance) and easy to get to off of the I-5. It's a hotel in a neighbourhood, so it felt more personable than perhaps a larger chain hotel in downtown San Diego. Room: 2106, facing away from the main road on the second floor, which made it nice and quiet (noisy neighbours in 2107 and above in 3106 aside!). Good storage space, clean, quiet and efficient A/C unit, good water pressure and temp. Bed was comfy, but might be a bit soft for some. A few minor points to note: the toilet seat needed tightening, the cable didn't seem to work (not a big deal, I had my books), and the bathroom sink backed up a few times the first few days, but this was rectified after mentioning it to the Front Desk. Housekeeping: overall, excellent. Extremely minor things were missed each day, but nothing worth calling out, and the ladies were lovely. Room was always clean and fresh, and happy to tip each day. Parking: a bit nervous parking in the exposed front lot, but no issues during our stay with any vehicle, including those parked in the back. Breakfast: Totally worth the $10! Scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns, cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice, etc. Was more than happy to tip each day. Staff: great! Everyone was friendly and happy to help, answer questions, and address concerns (like my noisy neighbours and plumbing events). Would definitely recommend if you're not fixated on being right in San Diego.
I am a long term guest here and being away from home can be tough. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. Alice and Lynette have been absolutely wonderful! They are always ready with warm smiles and greetings, professional and thoughtful, willing to have a brief conversation with anyone to try and make everyone feel welcome. It helps make the tedium of being away a little easier and makes it feel like a home away from home. The hotel overall is super accommodating and nice. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the added kitchenette is a huge plus. A good quiet, safe place to relax after a long day. The in-house gym is nice, and there's even an outdoor fireplace to sit and relax, especially in the evenings. Definitely a big recommend if you're in the area and looking for a good place to stay.

This is an excellent place to stay. The decorations and vibe are awesome, the staff is friendly, it's close to the freeway to get around the area, and they even have a great pool and bikes to borrow. There is plenty of parking and the little coffee shop has delicious products at a great price.
So for starters, check in time is 3:00pm, I showed up at 4:15pm, come to find out there was no rooms ready til 1hr and a half later & by the looks of it, my boyfriend and I weren’t the only one that had to deal with this. It was definitely an inconvenience, however they did offer a later check out of 2pm so we took what we could. Now as far the hotel itself, it was very very clean! There was no complains on that end, beautiful! Aside from getting a late room, the hotel met both of our needs. We’ll definitely be recommending & staying again.
American hotels in the summer vacation are very expensive, and this hotel has a good price/performance ratio. The location is convenient, there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
Very clean. Close to the school, there is a shopping center near Chula Vista, two outlets are also very close, and there are countless large supermarkets. . . . The boss family is very friendly. . Although the entire building is already very old, the price inside is very clean. . . The omelet for breakfast is especially delicious! ! ! But remind new people to stay in the United States, American hotels do not have toothpaste toothbrushes and slippers, so remember to bring your own! ! !
The Days Inn by Wyndham Chula Vista/San Diego is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Chula Vista will find that the Days Inn by Wyndham Chula Vista/San Diego is a fantastic accommodation choice. With San Diego Sprinter Station just 13km away and San Diego International Airport only 19km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the New Covenant Tabernacle, J St Harbor Park and Maile Nails all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Chula Vista hotel provides parking on site.
Wanted a last minute inexpensive getaway. I’m happy that I was intelligent to take advantage of a latest possible moment cancellation alternatively I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to be a guest of Hotel Palmeras. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about places to eat nearby. Definitely will stay in this place again. I had to leave my apartment and I had to stay for a single night, had to find something speedy, affordable and nearly my job. I was uncertain due to the reviews but I gave it a chance anyhow. The staff was excellent, friendly. The hotel is in a excellent location close to stores and dining rooms like Tacos el Gordo. I had a good nights rest and would come back if always I need a hotel, I advise you give it a chance.

Southwestern College
MM32***23Parking was free for everyone which was quite unusual for a college in LA.The Marketplace was a top rated cafeteria which was also known for its Vegan offerings. There also was a coffee shop which was owned and operated by the students where a class offered credit for their entrepreneurial experience running the business.
Rohr Park
MM32***23This is more of a viewpoint than a park. It has fantastic views from the top of the mountain. On a clear day you can see the ocean and various Islands or possibly snow-covered mountains in the distance. Hardy hikers will enjoy the trails that lead from the park. There is also one leading from the lovely Discovery Lake Park area up to Double Peak. This is a place that I like to bring visitors and they always enjoy it.
Living Coast Discovery Center
Ccoo***anThe Living Coast Discovery Center is fun for all ages. The giant green turtles outside welcome you into a small exhibit building with displays, a meeting room, and a gift shop. However, there is more outside. The shorebird and raptor in cages area winds around 2 sides of the building. There is also a small aquarium in the back with regular feeding times. The other side of the street offers several easy trails that lead to the Pacific Ocean and tells the history of mining in this area. Along the way we spotted one cotton tail rabbit, a hummingbird, and many shorebirds. As the parking lot (free) is off site, a free bus brings you into this center. Although the $16.00 entry fee for an adult seems hefty for the small size of the building itself, but the other parts -- trails, butterfly garden, caged birds, and aquarium -- makes this a spot that appeals to all ages and interests.
