All of the staff I encountered were polite, professional, and exactly the kind of employees I would hire if I owned or managed a hotel. IHG elite recognition as a Diamond Ambassador was very good, including a proactive upgrade to a suite. I was also given two bottles of water and offered a choice between points, a drink voucher, and breakfast. My suite was immaculately clean and well-appointed. The spacious gym featured several pieces of different late-model fitness equipment, including three or four treadmills. I really liked the market off to the side of the lobby. It had some Colorado-themed gifts, including shirts and postcards. That's nice as sometimes I forget to buy a souvenir for friends and family. Very thoughtful. At night, there's a meager happy hours special that some guests will appreciate. The casual burger-themed restaurant has an okay menu. It wouldn't be my first choice for dinner (especially on an expense account) but the burgers and salads are fine if you're tired after a long day of work or travel. Breakfast is better than dinner with certain IHG elites getting a voucher good for an ala carte option from the menu. My eggs were perfectly cooked and presented. Instead of a single cup of lukewarm coffee, the lovely waitress gave me an insulated carafe full of freshly brewed coffee. At 6-something in the morning, that was really appreciated. All that was missing was a free newspaper, which was previously provided. Some copies of the Denver newspaper or Wall Street Journal would be nice. All things considered, I will return in the future.

Nice hotel. Very clean! The attitude is not bad! Will stay next time

The hotel staff gave out my private information to random strangers where they asked if I was in fact staying there and what was my room number. This particular stranger asking about me was wearing plain clothes not a uniform, did not show a badge, only identified himself by his name, more importantly did not have a warrant. Information was given out. Without my permission. When I brought it up to management, they said it’s none of their business, they don’t care, that’s my problem, and I don’t have proof of the night attendant relaying it, etc. I said it is your business when you put out my confidential information to the public. I could file a civil lawsuit against extended stay America corporation if I wanted to as per the United States Supreme Court ruling in 2015, I have a reasonable expectation to privacy. Also, that could possibly put my life in danger when the general public asks. Another time, I inquired with the management about why I haven’t received housekeeping in 3 weeks going on 4 weeks. Management said they don’t have housekeepers. Management is tasked with the responsibility as per her job title of staffing her property accordingly. I continued to push back for someone to do it. I paid for it. It’s part of the rate. I already waited almost 4 weeks. Management yelled at me and said quote unquote “clean your own f****** room”. I couldn’t believe my ears. Never had that ever happened to me at any hotel brand including extended stay America. So I responded that I can’t pay you for the week unless you fulfill your responsibilities. The Management said I’ll have you removed out of the room from police. I said go ahead. I’ve been here for over 31 days. According to the law, That makes me a resident rather than just a guest. I have more legal protections now. The management called the police. The police arrived. The police knocked on the door. I didn’t answer as I don’t have to unless there’s a search warrant. The police left without further incident after literally only a minute. Because the police knew this was a civil issue not a criminal issue. When the management realized I wasn’t being removed, the management locked me out of my key card so I couldn’t get in my room. That’s against the law. After 31 days, lockouts are not permitted. Only an order by a judge of the court can order me removed. But either way, I paid for the week because I didn’t want to argue about this topic anymore. I didn’t receive my housekeeping until week 4 following the previous housekeeping date. At the previous housekeeping, it was a new housekeeper who joined the staff. And she didn’t speak fluent English. Spanish only. That morning, the housekeeper walked into my room without burst of knocks 3 times announcing themselves. The housekeeper literally walked right into my room without a heads up. Again law enforcement is not even even allowed to do that without a warrant. But the housekeeper walked in without forewarning. As they always say the best amenity at a hotel is their staff and wow did the EVEN Hotel matched that promise. Every staff member I came across always had a smile and ready to help attitude. The rooms are modern and super clean, they even have their own little gym space in the room. I will returning to the even hotel whenever in Denver.

***I'm generally a pretty easy going person and have never cared enough to place a review online for a hotel.... until now**** We booked 3 nights but quickly checked out after 1. There were blood stains all over in the bathroom with giant holes in the bathroom door that looked like they had been patched with mud. The window curtains were ripped and shredded in several spots. There were random hairs and hard chunks of something on the sheets and boogers stuck on the wall. The pillows were the size and quality of a pillow you would receive during a flight. We only received 2 bath towels...no hand towels or wash rags which is probably OK because there is NO WAY I would have taken a shower in that dirty bathroom. The back door of the hotel which was supposed to be locked and secured was left ajar all night for any weirdo to come in and murder us in our sleep (that's probably where the bloodstains came from in the bathroom). Finally to add insult to injury,...they charged me TWICE for all 3 nights instead of the 1 night that we stayed there. $682.00 for 1 nights stay in this gross hotel is just too much to take. Avoid at all costs.
