First, we are never disappointed in Courtyard Marriot. We have had many stays at different locations for weddings, weekend trips, events, etc. My husband and I recently had a wedding mid-march. We were unable to stay at the hotel we booked due to a family emergency. The next day, we called the hotel only to find out we were charged for two rooms (mistake of the hotel). Many calls made, voicemails left and it was hard to have the issue resolved (could also be because the recent pandemic). We tried calling again today and spoke with the general manager, MARK, who not only was patient in listening to the situation, friendly, but also very easy to talk to and accommodating to our issue with no problems or hesitation. Awesome customer service and management skills!! Would definitely book through him/this hotel in the future.
Great location next to Parx ******. Good breakfast. Very hard bed/ it is not memory foam. It was so hard and painful that I had to sleep on the ottoman instead.
The room was nice with a nice size pool Surprisingly and clean and Bluetooth speaker inside with loud speakers in pool area and room with no sound leaving the room definitely worth it I would say I would definitely stay again I just wish they would offer better deals on this particular room but it’s worth it your paying for your own peace a mind with a private pool so honestly couldn’t have been more happier and the property outside is well maintained and neat .thank you again
Very Good

From the location to the ease of access to the accommodations, everything about this extended stay was a cut above the rest, enough to make me leave a review to show my appreciation In fact, I’d like to show some special acknowledgements for the employees there. Housekeeping was timely, kind, efficient and respectful. The manager, Ms. Kim was thoroughly understanding and handled any questions I had alongside giving me some expert dinner advice in the area. As a final mention, Alechia was our front desk attendant and the smile she brought to my children’s faces was likely the most special part of it all. She was patient, calm and paid special attention to detail to ensure we were getting a good price and got a good price and a good room for the kids.
The water pressure and temperature in the shower were great and the bed was comfortable. The TV also worked well. After that, it's all downhill: * The hallway carpet is stained, tattered and torn. Like everywhere. * The room and hall smelled of cigarette smoke, and at time, of ****. * The bathroom door had no hook to hang anything on. * No microwave. (Had a fridge and iron at least.) * The nighttime desk clerk was helpful but the morning one was occupied on a personal call and could barely be bothered to acknowledge our questions. * The outside garbage cans were overflowing and/or broken. * The chair in the room was so wedged between the bed and wall, it could not be moved. I usually refrain from writing such negative reviews but this place was such a letdown and there are many other hotels right nearby. I recommend staying at one of them instead.
The point of finding a temporary trip from New York is much better than expected. Easy parking. 20 minutes drive from Philadelphia, very good location. The room is not small, two large beds, very suitable for family travel. Breakfast is a typical American breakfast, ok. Overall, it's smooth, check in and check out are quick and easy.
Reservations for my group room rate was easy. The reception was warm and helpful-- the staff and the coffee station in the lobby(which was really delicious coffee, by several peoples' standards). The hotel and rooms were not fancy, but attractive and very clean. The air-conditioner is very strong, maybe a bit much-- to keep the room cool but stop the blowing wind across the room, I had to block the vents with my sweaters. The shower products were in dispensers in the tub, which is cost-efficient (really, we don't need to take all those little shampoo bottles with us when we leave). They could use a small light in the bathroom, instead of all on so bright especially when just waking up. If you have TV accounts, you can use them on the room TV, otherwise it's the base channels. They could use a small light in the bathroom, instead of all on so bright especially when just waking up. I was disappointed that there was no housekeeping service. I always keep the rooms clean, but while on vacation, I like having my bed made and turned over. However, I wasn't 1st in the room, and my daughter said there was a note if we wanted service. I came with a wedding party , so I don't know if the continental breakfast is usually included, but it was excellent. All self-serve, but there is staff around for help. Only real negative, is that the digital keys had problems at initial use at most of the room doors. I felt every time I passed someone in the hall, I had to tell them they first need to go to reception to fully activate them. I did read somewhere that may need to be done sometimes.
Stayed here recently Friday-Sunday. I found it quite comfortable and importantly, very clean. The suites are meant for longer term stays where you might use the kitchenette but I didn't need it. I was on the 5th floor, with a view of the highway out the window, but wasn't bothered by road noise. Although I heard other guests as I walked down the hallway, the room was quiet (but I don't think the place was very full). The hotel is located at the end of road, not within walking distance of anything. There are plenty of places to buy food or other things you need, you'll just have to drive. (There is also the small convenience shop in the lobby.) The bed was comfortable and the thermostat worked fine. I'd stay here again if travelling through the area again.
We paid a lot for a two night stay in a hot tub suite. The first thing I noticed was the crumbs all over the counter by the microwave. Eh. I can clean that up, no one is perfect I thought. Yea. Next I noticed the dark spots all over the toilet seat. I hoped they were stains but no they wiped Up easily with water. The tub itself looked great ! Other than all the odd looking stains and discoloration. But let’s not forget about the floor ! It kinda moved with every step. Fun ! Still the final straw was the door. When I starred to close it I noticed the filth all over it. Much from dirty hands closing the door. But the top had been hit with some kinda stormy. We checked out immediately and hoped for a discount but nope. We paid for two full days after staying for less than 3 hours. Of course the first 2 hours and 55 mins were before we saw the disaster of a room. Stay away ! I’d rather sleep in a car with no windows in a thunderstorm than this place.
The pictures on the hotel web site don't match reality. On the hotel web site, a sign says ”newly renovated rooms”. My room was not renovated and the carpet had holes worn in it - see photo. I wouldn't write about that except for the advertising. A sign in the web site photo has the old logo, so it's possible the rooms were newly renovated at that time in the past. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is dated but I had a comfortable stay. One of the pictures on the hotel site shows nicer lobby furniture, which is not there. Again, I wouldn't mention the unremarkable lobby furniture except for their photos (#6&7). The pool is under repair/reconstruction, not as pictured on the photo list, #31-33. If you're counting on a pool try somewhere else or call the hotel to find out whether it's open. You may have to call a few times as the front desk does not pickup promptly, as noted in other reviews. Breakfast was ok, I had hot water, the room didn't smell, and the hotel is conveniently located. You do need a car as there is not much to walk to other than a convenience store in a gas station nearby. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping about 10 minutes away by car. For Choice members or those who regularly stay at Comfort Inn, this one ranks at the bottom of my experience, but for the price I would stay here again.
