My family (married couple with 12 and 3 year old girls) stayed at this hotel at the end of October 2024. We have enjoyed all inclusive 5* holidays every year for over a decade, usually in the Canary or Greek Islands. While our recent stay at the Bellevue Sentido had some positive aspects, unfortunately the negatives significantly outweighed them. This hotel fell short of expectations in terms of service, amenities, and overall quality: The Not-So-Good: Maintenance and Cleanliness: The hotel seems to be struggling with maintaining basic standards. Our room was not properly cleaned, we were only given one key card (which deactivated the others whenever we asked for additional, causing inconvenience for our group), and there were several maintenance issues including a broken lamp, exposed wiring, a broken soap dispenser, and a malfunctioning hairdryer. Uncomfortable Sleep: The beds were incredibly stiff and squeaky, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. This really impacted our enjoyment of the holiday. I was so rundown by the end of the trip I currently have bronchitis! Inefficient Air Conditioning: The air conditioning unit in our room was noisy and ineffective, leaving the room uncomfortably warm, especially considering the time of year. Limited Bar Options: We were disappointed by the lack of outdoor bar areas. I think it was closed due to it being ”off-season”, although it was still busy... Inconsistent Service: The service, particularly in the dining areas, was inconsistent. Sometimes drinks were readily available, other times we were left waiting for hours. It felt like the tipping culture in place, drove basic service standards. Disappointing Food: The food quality and selection were poor. To make matters worse, I experienced a mild case of food poisoning during our stay. As a Brit abroad, I was also dismayed by the lack of a proper English Breakfast tea! Poor Gym Facilities: The gym was a major letdown. Equipment was limited, broken, and poorly maintained. Limited Snack Options: It was frustrating that no snacks were available before 3pm. The Positives: Pleasant Lobby: The lobby area was nice and welcoming, and have a good first impression. Spacious Rooms: We appreciated the good size of the rooms considering the family stayed in one overall space. Decent Pools: The pool areas were decent and provided some relief from the heat, although still pretty basic. The indoor pools were warm. Enthusiastic Animation Team: The animation team worked hard and tried their best to entertain the guests. Reliable WiFi: The WiFi connection throughout the hotel was good. Good Weather: Thankfully, the weather was great for the end of the season. Overall, unfortunately due to the numerous issues we encountered, I cannot recommend this hotel. It needs to significantly improve its standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service to provide a truly enjoyable holiday experience.

Wonderful from start to finish! I could not recommend this hotel more. For me, it was the hotel team. The hotel community went out of their way to connect with others and genuinely seemed to care. They showed pride in customer service and expressed that they take their five-star reputation seriously. The room standard was amazing. Due to rooms being fully booked over Christmas, I needed to switch hotels for the main Christmas days. I switched to the biggest and supposedly most “ luxury “ hotel in Sousse. Honestly, the switch was not worthwhile. I realized just how exceptional the quality is at the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. The housekeeping team visited daily providing toiletries, clean bathrobes and nice extras ( such as sweets and chocolates) to the room. Their friendly faces with their cheerful banter were a pleasure to embrace each day. The food quality was great! I do not consume meat or dairy but that didn’t make a difference, there truly is something for everyone. The fresh food selection was incredible and certainly unbeatable to those I had tried elsewhere in Sousse and Tunis. The cooks shared helpful recommendations and I tried a range of fresh local flavours. This hotel was comfortable, with a cheerful friendly team and positioned with an exceptional view of a gorgeous quiet beach. I would happily stay again, and I highly recommend the Iberostar Selection Kantaoui Bay. I would like to extend a huge thank you to the remarkable team.

Nice friendly hotel, clean swimming pools. Nice indoor pool.

Quiet stay, good reception, excellent services. The hostel needs renovation and more maintenance.
