We stayed one night to celebrate my birthday. The management upgraded us and placed a “happy birthday” card nicely on the bed when we checked in! So thoughtful! The resort is very well maintained, pet friendly and excellent service! Breakfast was well presented and nicely designed Cafe by the river to enjoy your afternoon coffee and snacks! I recommend Asita Eco resort for Bangkokians for weekend retreats! Only 1.5 hours drive from the city.

Breakfast is a buffet, with bread, milk, coffee, fried noodles and salad. There are freshly fried eggs and pancakes. The price for lunch and dinner is reasonable, the portion is large, the middle portion is enough for two people, and the large portion is enough for three or four people. In a twin room, each bed is enough for two people to roll over. The hotel is near the river and has a beautiful environment. The guest rooms are surrounded by green trees. The river is wide and clean, with cruise ships passing by and birds flying by. The river is breezy, and it is very comfortable to sit by the river and eat.

This place is divided into 3 zones, the hotel, the restaurant, and the cafe. However, our visit was only on the cafe. The cafe is an open-air stylish bamboo building adjacent to Mae Klong canal. Here, we had some cakes, ice creams, and their signature drink ”The Buffalo” which is the combination of 3 ingredients, cocoa at the top, milk at the middle, and Thai tea at the bottom. After the cafe, we wandered around to see 2 buffaloes (the black one and the white one) that inspired their owner to build up this place.

I went to see the train market, so I stayed in the best hotel over there. The service is very good and the food is delicious. There are only big bugs. There is no taxi. It’s a good hotel for those who are driving from Bangkok to Hua Hin like me. Unlike to other hotels in the neighbourhood, it’s quiet despite being close to the highway. The dimming pool and the general atmosphere are pretty good for the price.
