Lovely boutique hotel just off N125 . Friendly staff,excellent standards and facilities. While staying there I became ill and had to attend Faro hospital. The help I got from the lady owner and João at reception was truly excellent for which I am very grateful. This is a small family run hotel with high standards and based on our experience of a 2 weeks stay can highly recommend it.

Stayed for the 5 th time here never disappointed hotel was lovely all the staff were exceptional loved the pool bar Thomas and Carlos looked after us really well . Cafe and restaurant on hotel fantastic nothing to much trouble . Bar staff great .Room was great cleaned really well laundry service good a special thanks to Gabriel who was so friendly and helpful as were all the reception staff definitely going back next year

Our 6th amazing stay at the JZS and wont be our last! We had a 9 night stay over the May half term. This hotel has a way of making you feel special from the moment you arrive at the front door. The staff are without a doubt a real credit to the hotel and make leaving so much harder. Special mention to the following employees: Ajay, Sunhil, Frank and Churro-Joseph (apologies for any misspelling) - front entrance. William - reception team. Hassan, Divesh, Jude, Prashant, Favia and Lalit - Imperium restaurant. Abdullah (beach supervisor) and Santosh - as part of the beach team. Yasiru and Jouliano - Al Nafoorah restaurant. The hotel is always spotless and smells divine (still sad I can no longer purchase the reed diffusers that smelled of the hotel to bring home). I know there are a lot of 5 star hotels in Dubai but I dont think you can beat a Jumeirah hotel. The JZS is a little quieter than the others because perhaps its on the palm but we prefer that. Being able to use the other hotels as part of the half board package (Jumeriah Flavours), which we did (Shimmers now being the absolute fav) gives you the best of all worlds. They have now reintroduced the shuttle bus service which runs during the day and mid evening to the other Jumeirah hotels and Mall of the Emirates. The spa is also a must do if you get a chance! Definitely the best one we have ever been to. I do have to point out the one (small) issue we had which was housekeeping - despite there being 3 adults in the room, they only seemed to leave 2 of everything (glasses and towels for example) even though we made a point (on more than 1 occasion, there were 3 of us). I did have to raise this a few days in a row as it appeared to fall on deaf ears - however, they got there in the end! Now off to book next years trip back to the JZS......

We found this to be an excellent place to stay on our first trip to the Algarve. The accommodation was spotless and cleaned daily. Full equipped with everything you could need to self cater. This was useful as due to the time of year there wasn't a lot open in the near vicinity. However, a short drive away there were plenty of options for eating out and shopping. The complex was quiet as we were out of season and out of school holidays which suited us down to the ground. We felt Vilamoura was a great location to explore the Algarve and would certainly consider coming back again. The only downside we noted is that the golf course adjacent is being updated so doesn't look quiet so pretty at the moment. This has nothing to do with the hotel.

The whole place was amazing. The facilities were top notch, the staff were all fantastic and the whole experience was brilliant. The bed was nice and big & clean every day. Breakfast was so good & breakfast staff were all great. The pool area was a perfect size for a relaxing holiday, not empty but not too busy to be able to enjoy yourself. Perfect location, only a 20 minute walk to the marina and the scenery on the way down was amazing. The staff at reception (especially the young man but didn’t catch his name) were extremely helpful with any questions and we managed to get into our room on the first day at 11am which was so handy. The hotel really made mine & my partners experience incredible and I would recommend to anyone!

GGuest UserWe have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at this beautiful resort! From the moment we were welcomed on arrival by the very professional and efficient Joanna and her amazing team, we felt like VIP’s. Tomas greeted us with freshly squeezed orange juice and a Portuguese pastry a very welcome treat. Things just got better when we were shown to our suite(229) it was beautiful and had an amazing view over the sand pool and lake! Our package included Haute Living and this really was a highlight of our stay, we could avail of light snacks at lunch and refreshments throughout the day. We also enjoyed a pre- dinner drink in the beautiful candle lit surroundings. Nadia, Alex, Bruno and the entire team made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble, we enjoyed chatting with them and gaining local information. Housekeeping was exceptional, fresh bed linen everyday, towels twice daily, a turn down service with chocolates and bottled water! Breakfast was excellent as were the restaurant staff, again nothing too much trouble. We were celebrating a birthday and special anniversary and were delighted on returning to our suite to find a cake and bubbles which we enjoyed on our balcony, such a lovely gesture and very much appreciated! The resort grounds are beautiful and superbly maintained. After a beach walk we enjoyed a refreshing drink in Sora, the hotels beach restaurant, the view is beautiful, staff friendly and well worth a visit! The entire team at Domes Lake Resort are amazing, their friendliness and professionalism are a credit to the company, they helped to make a much needed vacation extra special! JJRider33The whole place was amazing. The facilities were top notch, the staff were all fantastic and the whole experience was brilliant. The bed was nice and big & clean every day. Breakfast was so good & breakfast staff were all great. The pool area was a perfect size for a relaxing holiday, not empty but not too busy to be able to enjoy yourself. Perfect location, only a 20 minute walk to the marina and the scenery on the way down was amazing. The staff at reception (especially the young man but didn’t catch his name) were extremely helpful with any questions and we managed to get into our room on the first day at 11am which was so handy. The hotel really made mine & my partners experience incredible and I would recommend to anyone!
