The hotel has a great location in the town. However it really needs updating, the bedrooms are dated and gloomy. The reception staff are friendly and helpful but breakfast is chaotic. There is one coffee machine which also provides the hot water for tea unless you can find someone to give you a pot of hot water which if it arrives has no lid. The lifts are very slow and not enough of them given there are no visible stairs to use.

We stayed in this hotel for a full weekend and the experience did not match our expectations of a 4-star hotel.
