An excellent hotel in the heart of El Nido town proper. It is in a chaotic area but the hotel itself is well managed and calm once you get off the street! On reflection I probably would have stayed further out of the town but that's not a comment on the hotel itself.
The hotel breakfast is great, even if you're not vegetarian or vegan which I'm not. The rooms are a good size, not to small and had balconies which is good for drying clothes.
Reception and all the staff are lovely but I'm marking down the hotel slightly due to communication. When we got to the hotel by public tricycle they seemed surprised I hadn't gone with their free hotel transfer yet I couldn't see this option anywhere on trip when booking and they hadn't attempted to contact me. Perhaps that could be improved. On the communication front it seems they have some perks which they don't advertise at all. I discovered when visiting the Heiroglyph gym by vanilla beach that access is free if you're staying at H Hotel which is a superb perk but they don't advertise it at all! Apparently they also have a sister hotel near nacpan Beach where you can use the pool.
Overall it's a very good hotel. I think it's a bit expensive but then again hotels in Philippines are generally overpriced so in that sense the price is fine.

I had an amazing stay at Panja Resort Palawan. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque environment that made my stay incredibly relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring.
The hotel environment was perfect, with lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the place. The pool area was fantastic, offering a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The service was outstanding, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism and hospitality truly enhanced my experience.
Overall, Panja Resort Palawan deserves a full 5 stars for its excellent amenities, stunning views, and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Very cozy, new, clean hotel! It would be more correct to say a guest house - the owner lives nearby, in his own house. Accordingly, you receive family care!!! If you wish, they will prepare delicious, home-made food for you. Personally, this is where I tried several traditional Filipino dishes for the first time - delicious! In general, only positive impressions! The main road is 700 meters away, in principle not a problem at all. By the way, you can book different tours directly from the hotel. Definitely recommend!!!

The staff are great, the owner was gracious and friendly. They have on sight laundry, water cooler dispenser, on sight restaurant with delicious food, and an awesome pool. You can rent a scooter at the hotel. The advertisement said our room had a queen size bed, but it was king size. My husband said it was a little on the firm side but I loved it.. If you do a book here and there’s something missing from your room like a sheet or an extra pillow don’t complain just ask; the staff is more than willing to fix whatever issue you have. If you want to do tours of the underground river, just check with the front desk they can arrange it and the van will come right to the door and pick you up.

My family scheduled a getaway to Palawan during the last long weekend of August. Sir Earl, his wife, and his staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived at PPS airport to our time at the accommodation. Throughout our 5-day stay, the complimentary breakfast was satisfying, although it would be nice to see more options on the menu. Our experience was smooth and hassle-free. The staff was very responsive to all our inquiries. If you plan to visit Rancho Mitra, Butterfly Garden, and Baker's Hill, they are just a short tricycle ride away from the hotel, taking about 3-5 minutes. You can even opt to walk to the main highway and ride motor cabs if you intend to go to the Crocodile Farm, Cathedral, and Baywalk. Our experience with the locals showed that Palawenyos are very welcoming to tourists, so don't hesitate to explore the city. Generally, residents do not take advantage of visitors. I tried to consider other hotels, but only Earl de Princesa offered a budget-friendly price without compromising on comfort and hospitality. I was not disappointed. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and hot showers.

GGuest UserThis place is obviously still struggling from the effects of the Covid lockdowns. The staff is the best part of this place. The air conditioner is undersized & has a daylight gap all around it. The room refrigerator is worthless because its electric circuit shuts down when you leave the room. Who wants to come back from a trip & grab a warm drink from the ref? Breakfast buffet is pretty slim. They post signage asking you to conserve water, but they don't even include water saving faucets or shower heads. And then there were the bugs. If I had known that they are offering 'Hourly Rates' I would have avoided this place.

The food, breakfast in particular is atrocious for a hotel in this price range the restaurant staff idle about playing on their phones. The rooms were cleaned very late in the day on several occasions. The internet is weak from the rooms.Whilst the front desk staff are friendly they are pretty clueless and on wanting to escalate certain issues I am told that the management are based in Puerto Princessa. With good management and a complete overhaul of the menu and some internet boosters this could be a great hotel.

Wwildcat9919This hostel is clean and modern. The beds are clean and come with curtains. You get a large locker but need to bring your own lock. There is hot water in the showers. There was also shampoo and bath gel. The bathrooms were clean. The ac was strong. The breakfast is free. There is free breakfast everyday on the rooftop bar and restaurant. They also serve dinner and the prices are very reasonable (around 200 php per dish and 50 php for beers). The hostel provides airport pickup and drop off at 150 php each way. Tons of solo travelers here. This isn’t a party hostel but you can usually find people to have a few beers with. Lots of people come for the diving and the island tours. WiFi isn’t great, but it’s not great anywhere on this island. I would definitely stay here again.

LLenamakkarenaFloresitas impresses with a quiet location right by the sea. If you want to switch off for a few days and focus on the essentials, this is the right place for you (if there isn't construction going on next door or the generator is running - both of which were completely bearable). In one of the log cabins (without AC) or (in our case) rooms with air conditioning, the most necessary things are available: a comfortable bed and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. Our room was relatively clean, I don't understand why the mirrors in the Philippines never seem to be cleaned. In addition, the water from the tap is rather brownish and is not recommended for washing. Right in front of the room door: white, fine sand that stretches from the sea over the entire complex. Many hammocks and seating areas invite you to linger. The WiFi throughout the property was the best we've had since arriving in the Philippines. The food was also really, really tasty - Gemma goes out of her way to fulfill her guests' wishes. Speaking of guests: here too you have more peace and quiet - we were apparently the only ones in the complex on two out of three nights (over the weekend). But there are a few things you can do: rent a kayak cheaply at the resort and explore the area yourself, go snorkeling, firefly watching from another resort a few 100 meters away, or book a private boat trip through Ursulas Resort (neighboring resort). The hosts also try to help as best they can, but sometimes there was a lack of mutual communication. But in the end, with their help, we were able to be picked up in the van right from our front door.
All in all, we felt the price was a bit too high for the simple conditions and the remote location (outside of all the hustle and bustle of tourism). But we still really liked it and would come back at any time.

Let's start with the positives. The price-point of this hotel is truly commendable, offering exceptional value for money. I found myself in need of a last-minute stay due to a late arrival at the airport, and Holiday Suites Palawan proved to be the perfect solution. The room I secured for a small price exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and relaxation.
One notable highlight is the hotel's strategic location just outside Robinsons Place Palawan. This convenience allowed me to easily access shopping and dining options without hassle. The proximity to the airport further adds to the hotel's appeal, making it a practical choice for travelers with late arrivals or early departures.
Now, addressing the minor drawbacks. I did notice the absence of a spoon in the room, despite the presence of cutlery and complementary coffee. Additionally, the fridge in the room had a slight issue with closing properly. While these details are worth mentioning, they did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience I had at Holiday Suites Palawan.
In conclusion, Holiday Suites Palawan offers a fantastic balance of affordability, comfort, and convenience. Despite the minor room quirks, the value for money and the hotel's strategic location easily warrant a 5-star rating. KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!

I was hoping for the same level of quality service and got no disappointment. My clients loved their stay. They enjoyed the beach scenery and loved the staffs as well. Dolarog, a true pet-friendly resort! The resort in itself is superb! It’s like a hidden gem of El Nido and the greatest thing about it is it’s truly a pet-friendly haven! What I like about it is that it’s still in the main island but gives off that exclusive feels. We stayed for 8 days in total at the beachfront villa called Lagen which is a few meters from the beach overlooking their jetti way and that awe-inspiring giant limestone directly in front of our villa. Getting to the resort is other via speedboat or their private access road from Vanilla Beach using a golf car. You know that you’ll have an excellent stay when the owner, Mr. Edu picks you up(or sometimes the son) from Vanilla beach for a more personal touch. How hospitable right? He also has a selection of Italian wines from his cellar as he is Italian, I had Chianti btw over dinner with the beach, stars and the moon as our backdrop. Truly magical! The rooms are always kept clean by the staff who are also very friendly. The main Receptionist, Tata is attentive and very pleasant not to mention very informative. I would take her as my head of staff if only I could! She knows her products and knows when to recommend it, the type of staff who is not in your face all the time to promote an offer. I must say she is one of the nicest resort staff I ever come across with. Food is relatively good. Home cooked and unpretentious. As with any advice when you go to a limited supply area such as El Nido, don’t get your expectations too high on having a western dish so much because obviously, you will have some issues so I only ordered I know locally sourced here like seafood or their filipino dishes like the menudo and chicken curry which are my faves! Filipino breakfast is good. You might wanna carry spare powerbanks as the resort rely on their own generator for electric supply. From 6am-9am and 12noon-6pm there is no electric power. Also, TV is not available (not sure abt other rooms though) but who needs a TV anyway? It’s not like you chose to go to El Nido and sit all day on Netflix and stay indoors duh! I rented a motorbike for 500/day basis and this really helped me in exploring or going out of the resort but the resort offers complimentary shuttle via their golf car to Vanilla beach for free but I wanted to leave and come back on my own time. This is also a 20 minutes walk to Maremegmeg beach by beachside access. Tricycle ride cost between 150 going to town from Vanilla beach btw. Overall our experience is a great 4.5/5 with .5 leaving for improvement on the land access before the Dolarog gate. Also, I’m pretty confident even without any advertisement or active social media promotion, the resort will do just good but let me tell when I posted 1 picture of Dolarog on my socmed, people flocked my DM to ask if I was in another country.
