This was the greatest room we had during our New-Zealand trip so far! We were welcomed by the sweetest person ever, the mom of the host. We loved the personal whiteboard with our names on. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a loooong time! Thanks for this amazing stay!!

The front desk was closed, but the name and room number were written on the board, the room key was open and when I entered, the key was on the desk. There was a parking space in front of each room, and the room was large and easy to use when used by １ people. It is convenient to have a complete range of home appliances such as IH in the refrigerator microwave electric pod. If you don't wash and dry the kitchen utensils, you will be charged.

We stayed in a lot of motels in our trip to New Zealand. This was the best by a long way. The room was extremely large, well furnished and clean. It also had a deligthful garden/sitting out area. Fairlie is a good place to spend the night if you want to split the journey between Wanaka or Queenstown and Christchurch. It has a good restaurant (the Old Library) and a well-known bakery which makes excellent pies (the Fairlie Bakehouse). If you add this motel, I'd strongly recommend it for a stay.

Although it is 15 kilometers from the well-known Tekapo, it only takes ten minutes to drive. Although the Burkes pass is really a small, very old, almost no-village country, it is really quiet, only your breath is quiet. It’s a wilderness in the wilderness. If you are lucky and have not encountered a cloudy day, then your stargazing experience must greatly exceed Tekapo!

The house is completely beyond expectations, the room layout is very warm, and the kitchen is equipped with a luxury level, everything! Enjoying cooking by yourself. The key is that the starry sky in the mountains is so beautiful that it explodes. Unless you have to shoot the starry sky in the Shepherd's Church, you don't have to go through the night at all. That starry sky will be unforgettable for life! I encountered a 12-level strong wind that blew off the TV pole that day, and the repair personnel could not do it in a short time. The owner took the children and the family to help them get the generator. Thank you very much for their efforts. By the way, many small hares can be seen around the house at night and in the morning.
