Descubra sua estadia em Lahad Datu

Booked for my parents as they were attending a wedding ceremony of their colleague at Lahad Datu. So far, so good.

The hotel is close to the city very close. Then there is a balcony where you can see the view of the city. There is also a night market just downstairs

My room (superior king room) was big and clean, but smelled a bit weird, it might be the smell of the sanitiser. The building from inside is newly renovated (renovation is still in progress), the lobby looks very nice, the staff is nice and friendly, but they have no restaurant, no small bar, no lounge, nothing. And the most disappointing thing: I could smell in my room that someone(s) smoke in the corridor or somewhere close! It was crazy disgusting! Smoking is not allowed in the building, but unfortunately they cannot detect it, since there is no smoke detector, which is dangerous.

Stayed in this hotel in August 2020. Booked for standard room. Room - Don't expect a 5 star Hotel but it is the best by its standard actually in Lahad Datu. There is small fridge for you to keep your drinks cold. :) Good location as it is in the town center and near to shopping area. They provide free parking. Cleanliness - So so. Cons, 1. My bed sheet not that good. please refer photo attached.

The hotel is quite old, no upgrading since so many years. Last time the hotel provide freeflow buffer style breakfast before COVID, but now is limited to one set per customer. Street parking lot in front of hotel, but need to compete with Servay Supermarket customer during Servay Supermarket operation hours. Hope the hotel can provide freeflow buffer as per before COVID.

Overall, this is a cheap hotel with middle price range. Rooms rate are between MYR60 to MYR150 per night. No elevator here. You will have to go up by using stairs. For youngsters that is ok but for seniors and old people it will be a little bit hard and and uncomfortable for them especially for senior age people with knee pain and back pain. Reception desk is at ground floor next to the main entrance. Location of this hotel is strategic because it is only 2-4 minutes walk to nearby night market. The Lahad Datu Post Office is next to the hotel building then the market is next to the Lahad Datu Post Office. If you drive a car you can park your car overnight at Post Office parking area which is free. This hotel is located in busy road.

Arrived for one night before flying out in the morning. Our room was large, with an extra little sitting area, and clean. Bed was comfortable. Had trouble with the internet in the room, but good signal in the hallway. Mathew the manager, was very apologetic, and trying to resolve the issue. Meanwhile he had a small table brought up

So poor of cleanliness. Terrible Aircond.. the toilet floor is slippery...need to improve it!!
