Sharing bathroom. Its not suitable for family with kids because this is not a silent place since we are sharing with some disrespectful people sometimes.

Overall our stay was nice. The rooms were cozy, especially because ours were the Garden Rooms at the Ground floor. The ambiance around the Resort was nice, lots of pine trees, flowers and greens. Only thing we were disappointed with was the breakfast. I think they should consider having a wider selection of food and a nicer variety. Also when the food finishes, they did not replenish the food on time which was disappointing. I would suggest take the rooms without breakfast and sleep in, go out and have breakfast as there are many restaurants with a better selection and taste.

We chose this hotel for two reasons : the great location (smack in the middle of Tanah Rata town) and the price (an irresistible discount in view of the current covid19 situation). We were not disappointed. Our room was comfortable, adequate bedding, bottled water thoughtfully provided. We also liked the layout of the minimalist but adequately appointed bathroom with its limitless supply of hot water (very important in view of the cold wet weather). Our only complaint would be that there was a strong ammonia smell emanating from the toilet bowl. The water in the toilet bowl was also always slightly discoloured no matter how often we flushed it but as we were only staying a night, we weren’t too fussed. We did find it slightly disconcerting that the staff constantly made themselves quite at home on the sofas of the reception area but perhaps they’re the owners so it’s their style. Would definitely recommend the hotel at the current rates offered.

AAnonymous UserHad a great time at this boutique hotel. It’s relatively new and adopt a very interesting design concept. They only have 10 rooms I think. The landscaping around the hotel was really nice. The location of this place is in Tanah Rata, so it’s not as crowded as Brinchang, also it’s not as congested in terms of traffic. You only get one car park per room. It’s situated right at the end of the street, quite secluded and very private.
There’s no one waiting during check in, basically, you text a number and someone comes out to give you keys to your room and ask for breakfast selection for the following morning. All communication was done through the WhatsApp. We also asked for extra towels and shampoo, owners were very courteous and generous.
Felt very safe for my family with young children could just roam around freely. In terms of amenities, there’s no swimming pool or gym facilities. But there’s a place to do bbq and gather in the common area. They give you the auto gate lock if you were to drive out and come back late at night, you can allow yourself in and lock the gate yourself.
In the morning you can hear very loud bird chirping. The air was very fresh! But we were awoken by the loud noise of grass trimming from next door, some government office. There’s also a dormitory next door and you can hear evening prayers.
Nearby, there’s a lot of shops and restaurants whereby you will find no problems settling your meals, about 5 mins walk down to the Main Street.
Just a few things to note :
- There’s a lot of stairs and if you have elderly in your entourage, it is not very convenient getting to the room. You may ask for ground floor rooms of course. The stairs worked super well for my children though, they just enjoyed going up and down so much!
- We booked loft rooms. The toilet and bath tub is located next to the main door. It’s open concept, meaning if you were to take a shower at night or go to toilet, it’s going to be cold.
- The beds are on the top floor, so if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk down the stairs.
- The bathtub and shower design is not so convenient for young children or elderly.
- Breakfast comes in very cute tiffin boxes. They place it outside your door around 8 plus. However, I always couldn’t catch their delivery on time, and most times the food is rather cold already.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay very much. I think would very suitable for young couples, and groups of young travelers.

Room type: Quadraple room for 2 adult 2 kids. No breakfast ya... can go out for eat or can ”tapaw” nearby and santai² makan outside lobby area. Can go down and make ur tea @ coffee for free of charges. Got quite hour 11pm-7am. However you can go anywhere you want. Given entrance door key in case you come back late night.

Very Good
PPEI CHANI booked Misty Forest- 2 room suite and was told the room i booked is under renovation and we were arranged to stay in the room which is Vintage Theme. It was a very nice stay for us. I would like to recommend to the family travellers to stay here. The person in charge is really helpful, give us a very detail travel information including the tourist spots and place to eat. This homestay is in the apartment just right in front of the Pasar Malam (Only a few stalls opened when we come) and there are 99 Speedmart , My News Convenience Store and 7-11 Convenience Store at the ground floor of the apartment. The apartment we stay has the steamboat instrument, microwave oven, fridge, 2 kettles. Therefore, we have a great stay here.

1) perfect location, near to literally all attractions
2) my room water heater was good with good water pressure
3) parking was allright, had spots both the days
The bad things
1) room was smelly , the towels were old towels that felt dirty after one use, requested for towels on the 1st day itself but didnt get till we checked out. Only had showel gel , no other toiletries provided. The mattress was old and had a few tears and the blanket felt like it wasnt washed.
2) cabinet had holes in it , which was giving out a bad odour at night.
3) zero ventilation , no A/C , was so stuffy and no fan provided, we ended up buying a table fan. Yes camerons is cold but the place really needs air circulation.
Overall , its an old place that needs some major refurbishment and cleaning.
Will i stay here again? Nope.

AAnonymous Userhonestly,if you want to come in peak times (school holiday/weekend) better check in sharp on time. because the hotel system fails. either you book from trip,agoda,booking you must aware hotel can cancel your booking/replace your booking to another customer. in my previous situation,me and 3 other person,our booking cancel as we arrived there around 4-5pm after jammed.
their rooms not much. their system should improvised.
they provide soap only. my rooms got 1 fan.please change the mattress. you can feel the spring already. please change the water heater/shower water pressure.very slow. have a little stains on towel and bedding.
dont forget bring your own mineral water/drinking water.they dont provide.

GGuest UserIt was right at the kea farm market. Easy excess to breakfast if you like corn, sweet potatoes, sweet cakes, etc. Parking is a bit problem as need to shared with seller at kea farm.
Pro:
-Easy excess to food( kea farm market)
-Near attraction (sheep sanctuary, bee farm, strawberry..etc.)
-really cool despite no fan provided
-hot water provided
-owner is really friendly and nice person.
Cons:
-Stairs
-the sheep will wake you up in the morning
-dog barking at night
-smelly bathroom.
-in and out to hotel is challenging because it was narrow road.
-tv with 2 channel, no aircond, no fan

GGuest UserClean, smelled good when I entered this service apartment. But if you wanted to have stuff like microwave oven, etc you have to pay for it at the front desk office. Water heater’s maximum heat was warm. Bathroom water trap always choked during shower and created ponding and would only go down after a very long time. The bathroom tiles were not clean and had dead bugs on it. I was disappointed with the unbothered attitude of the front desk when I asked for WiFi password. She said “Oh WiFi… under maintenance… Rosak (Spoilt)”. She stated it as a matter-of-fact and no apologies were given. Whereas on the description it says WiFi is provided. TV only shows local Malay channels. Decor in room was ok. A ceiling light was flickering, causing much annoyance as it was connected with living area’s light and doorbell didn’t work. When I brought this up to the front desk, she said she will call me (there’s no phone in the room btw) and get a technician to come down. I knew nothing was going to happen and I just walked off, annoyed. Needs proper upkeep and maintenance.

GGuest UserThe staff at this property saved from sleeping on the street on our first night in Tanah Rata due to a problem between the hotel we booked and the agent (the big ”A”). We rolled up at about 10pm after dragging our luggage across town. Note: difficult to find taxi or Grab after 9pm. They gave us a room for the night but we stayed for 3. The staff were great, especially Elaine, who provided heaps of useful guidance and also organized our self-drive motorbike tour. She's a gem. The property is quiet and pleasant. Good public areas and grounds. Prices competitive. We had a double with private en-suite. Hot water was useful in this climate. Internet was a little unreliable. Didn't sleep well but that was mostly due to change in climate. Clean and sure to be a success, especially compared to our intended hotel.

Ssyaheed redhafill cool and relex..will repeat again .staff is helpful and the location is near to buy any food..free parking and easy too go any where..
Time Tunnel Museum
MMiss RaraEntrance fee for adults is RM8. There are also plenty of car parking areas available at this museum. The environment is very clean, there are various antiques. In addition, you can also read various information about the early history that happened in Cameron Highland. The information provided is very detailed and includes old pictures.

千千山任我行Cameron Highlands is a famous summer resort in Malaysia. The climate here is cool all year round, and the flowers are of many kinds and rich in colors. This Rose Hill is planted with many varieties of roses, as well as other beautiful flowers whose names I can't remember. If you like flowers and plants, this place is worth a visit.
Cameron Highlands
KKinnie KongDid our 1st drive in our newly gotten car up towards Cameron highland. The drive from Singapore To KL took about 3hrs and to Cameron highland from KL is another 90mins. The drive up can be quite curvy so be careful.The air up in Cameron is crisp and fresh, cooling weather about 18-24 degree. Up here you can enter the tea plantation and also get souvenirs back home from the freshly plucked plantation. Crowds here can be huge especially on weekend, would definitely make a trip up again for sure due to the nice cooling weather and great scenery.

AAneesnaDon’t miss out an opportunity to appreciate nature while in Cameron Highlands. There are several choices to be at the peak but the most relaxing way is via jeep driven by an experienced driver. The view is breathtaking and the walkway is a bit slippery during rainy days. Just make sure to wear an appropriate shoes.
Sam Poh Temple
NNature Lover68Sam Poh temple is located at Brinchang on a slightly small hill top, from the hotel i stayed can see the panorama view of temple, it's very beautiful. I came here on weekday, so clam & peaceful, my previous trip here was 20yrs ago, but still keep clean & well maintained.
