The room is not satisfactory, at first I got a 3rd floor room.. no towels, soap. The toilet smells bad and when I go in, I want to use the toilet bowl cover. Oh God, the toilet is blocked full of stools ... very annoying and I vomited very stunned to see it ... is really trauma! Then you can change another room next to saje, thank you, the toilet is ok and there is a soap towel. The mattress hurts, it feels like there is no sponge ... the pillow is not comfortable. The room is not very soundproof, you can hear the people next door open the shower, pick the switch, you can clearly hear people coming in and out of the room. When you open the window, you want to enter the air, there is a unpleasant smell like a dirty steam smell.
The okay thing is that the price can be in trip.com , the employees are good and quickly come to the room when they tell us a problem and are friendly and polite. Parking is limited but can be double park promise to tell the hotel and parking does not have to pay.

One of my favourite hideouts for a short escape from the city.
As usual check in was a breeze n had an extremely good lunch of Curry Fish. Breakfast spread was ample with the usual Local dishes & some pastries . There's a coffee dispenser that serves Cappuccino.
IMPT NOTE : The tour buses parked had their engine running and the diesel fumes spoil the clean air!
PLS OFF THE ENGINE while waiting to pick up / off load passengers !

Great room. Very satisfied.. got the 3 room. From the outside it looks like a place to live. Enter the room ok. It looks like new paint. Ok.. if you bring a lot of family, you want to save the budget. This place is a choice. Next to the heavenly mosque again. The picture in the room.hmm..change the picture of the flower scene to strawberry. The others are ok.

AAnonymous UserFirst time check in....harga murah sbb jatuh hari Deepavali tau.. Fuhh..naseb tak makan jem.. Sbb ada tanah runtuh kt simpang pulai.. Mula2 macam takut sebab banglo besar kot.. Rupanya tuan dia renovate jadikan homestay bygkan ada 10+ kot tak ingat dah... Lokasi homestay ni dekat giloss dgn pasar mlm.. Sis jalan kaki je dgn ank sedare pegi.. . Sekali imbas je jumpa owner dia.. Baik betul ramah je aunty..(cantik mcm pelakon Hindustan tau) btw ada 3 tingkat.. Kami dot tingkat atas sekali.. Fuhh.. Memula dok pikirkan mak cane nak naik ni.. Skali ade lif gais.. Mcm saye ngn ank sedara turun pakai tangga je.. Bilik saye ada 2 bilik and katil ada 7 gaiss..ibarat mcm sebuah apartment laa.. Pastu ada byk Bantal pulak tu..kami berempat je.. Toilet pulak ada asing utk yak2 dan mandi.. Dua2 toilet boleh mandi dgn heater... Siap ada sinki kt luar.. Dapor dia pulak ada mikrowave, peti ais 1 pintu, cerek, dapor elektrik dannnn ada periuk segala lah.. Cukup lengkap oii.. Pastu ada balkoni skali...tuala disediakn ye gaisss...ruang tamu ada sofa yg selesa.. Ada tv dan ada wifi.. So.. Anak2 korang tak bosan walaupun xde pool..😬 Pastu.. Oppss lupe.. Nanti ms check in diorg akan mtk depo Rm100 refund balik incase rumah diorg cantik mcm biasa.. 😅 Cuma dalam bilik 1 tu ade kipas.. Lg 1 xde kipas.. Patut ada jgk sbb ada time dia mcm rasa haba berkuap sikit.. Tp overall ok je.. Dan lg 1 mybe pihak homestay boleh sediakn alas kaki dan selipar.. Sejuk oo.. Korg bwk la sendiri selipar jepun beli kedai eco sedekah ke homestay☺️ .. Nak mandi tu xkuasa nk pijak sejuk.. Awal2 subuh nk ambik wuduk lg.. Hehe.. Ok sekian..

KKatyaWe liked this hotel, it is atmospheric, nice place, good service. There are some restrictions in opening hours, but the hotel provided us with a late dinner in the room (we ordered it in advance), also in general, all issues were resolved. 2 small Buts: the hotel is quite outdated and needs a little renovation, and also if you are traveling with a child taller than 140 cm, the sofa for him will be small, and for some reason there are no extra beds in this hotel.

DDzafarin Fadilstayed at the two-bedroom apartment for a night.
Good
The apartment is clean and has plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 kids to run around. Had some troubles with the door and pipes, but the reception and technical team was very efficient and professional when called upon.
Not so good
Hotel furniture is quite old, which means cabinet doors come off at the hinges, shelves get stuck at their railings at glass windows rattles all night when hit by strong winds. Need refurbishment to compete with other newer apartments around Cameron.

GGuest UserWe booked this place because of its location and parking. It's quite near to restaurants and there's parking but you need to pay with TNG or Pahang Go app. The hotel is old with lift but no aircon or fan. You still need a fan as you don't want the windows wide open at night. Some moths flew in. Also it can be noisy if the room is facing the road. Mine was facing the hills but still noisy with stray dogs barking and smell from the restaurant's cooking below. We made a complaint as the hotel didn't tell us upfront that there's no fan. However, the boss provided the fan after our complaint. Overall the place was clean and there's hot water with good pressure.

MMak MudaCheck in ikut apps mana kita booked. Trip.com paling awal jam 2.31pm. Check in kena pergi belakang hotel lobi The Retreat sebab area hotel tak ada lobi. Parking boleh parking bawah hotel tapi kalau nak free parking setiap kali nak keluar kena jalan kaki ke lobi Retreat, pastu bru balik basement hotel. Hotel sunyi. Tiada mesin air panas tapi ada cerek dan microwave.Ada hairdyer dalam bilik. Air 2 botol air dan peti ais mini. Bilik 417 ada han... perempuan baju putih..So kalau boleh elakkan bilik ini.

GGuest UserClean, smelled good when I entered this service apartment. But if you wanted to have stuff like microwave oven, etc you have to pay for it at the front desk office. Water heater’s maximum heat was warm. Bathroom water trap always choked during shower and created ponding and would only go down after a very long time. The bathroom tiles were not clean and had dead bugs on it. I was disappointed with the unbothered attitude of the front desk when I asked for WiFi password. She said “Oh WiFi… under maintenance… Rosak (Spoilt)”. She stated it as a matter-of-fact and no apologies were given. Whereas on the description it says WiFi is provided. TV only shows local Malay channels. Decor in room was ok. A ceiling light was flickering, causing much annoyance as it was connected with living area’s light and doorbell didn’t work. When I brought this up to the front desk, she said she will call me (there’s no phone in the room btw) and get a technician to come down. I knew nothing was going to happen and I just walked off, annoyed. Needs proper upkeep and maintenance.

1) perfect location, near to literally all attractions
2) my room water heater was good with good water pressure
3) parking was allright, had spots both the days
The bad things
1) room was smelly , the towels were old towels that felt dirty after one use, requested for towels on the 1st day itself but didnt get till we checked out. Only had showel gel , no other toiletries provided. The mattress was old and had a few tears and the blanket felt like it wasnt washed.
2) cabinet had holes in it , which was giving out a bad odour at night.
3) zero ventilation , no A/C , was so stuffy and no fan provided, we ended up buying a table fan. Yes camerons is cold but the place really needs air circulation.
Overall , its an old place that needs some major refurbishment and cleaning.
Will i stay here again? Nope.
