Lo bueno: todos los días se realiza el aseo de la habitación. -El trato del personal es gentil y respetuoso -Nos facilitaron plancha para ropa y un ventilar -El personal muy atento cuando requerimos toalla para la alberca. Lo malo: No tienen elevador, sino que tienes que caminar alrededor de 40-50 escalones así como en la entrada tiene una rampa vehicular pero también es la entrada del hotel. Ahí dejan autos estacionados y llega hacer incómodo para los huéspedes andar entre los vehículos. En los desayunos el agua simple sin sabor, mientras tanto la comida estuvo buena. -La ropa de cama está manchada, había cabellos en el cubrecolchon y en la regadera. -El agua de la alberca muy fría y del jacuzzi muy caliente. Me dió alergia al salir de la alberca. Por la noche apagan las luces y ponen una lona Deberías de extender el horario, los que vamos al los tour llegamos tarde y ya no la disfrutamos. - Solo había un conector en la habitación, así que le hace falta más mantenimiento y conectores de luz. -Te ofrecen una mejor habitación por $150 por noche (añadido al precio que ya pagaste) -Estacionamiento en un terreno baldío $100 por noche

The room was good, the service was very warm, and coffee milk snacks were provided in the morning, five points recommended.

The location is very convenient. Downstairs is the street. Next door is the attraction, Union Garden Plaza (Jardin de la Union) Nice room, spacious, just a bit noisy at night There is a large balcony in the room where you can punch in

The hotel is very close to the city center and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very lively at night, the sound insulation of the room is mediocre, you can clearly hear the noisy sounds from outside in the room, my boyfriend thinks it's a bit noisy, but I still like to listen to this lively and happy atmosphere occasionally. The hotel has a lift, but our room was only accessible by stairs, which is not very convenient if you have a heavy suitcase. There are some chairs at the door of our room, and several employees sit and chat on them. We can hear their voices clearly in the room, and I'm not sure if they can also hear our conversations in the room. And they chatted there again early the next morning, and I was woken up by their chatter. I hope the hotel can tell them not to chat at the door of the room where guests are staying.

We stayed at this hotel twice in 2023, to be closer to the BJX airport for early morning flights. While there are hotels closer to that airport (this hotel is a 25 minute drive to it) but this hotel is too nice to pass up for some of the not-so-nice airport area hotels. Guanajanto downtown is beautiful, not to be missed! The rest of the town isn't anything to write home about, we have done multipe tours and I'd stick to the area Villa Maria Cristina is in, and dowtown only. Ok, so we are Hyatt Explorist status. Both times our room was upgraded, which was very nice. The larger suites are lovely, we had one with a private patio with a table and loungers as well as Two full bathrooms, each with a bath tub and separate showers. Heaven! Robes and slippers also were privided with the room. We also got a turndown service with a lovely locally made treat. The hotel is old, and has the feel of an older hotel that has been well maintinaed, we could hear the pipes in the walls. Not a big deal. This room was facing a view of the mountains, but also along the main road. It was noisy All night with traffic. Light sleepers should request a room off the main road. The second time we had a slightly smaller room, no patio and one bathroom with a soaker tub. The hotel has 2 small pools, one indoors, 1 outside. There is also a spa and sauna (we had to sign up in advance to use it). There is also at least 1 hot tub set outdoors, although it was cold and we had to wait about 30 minutes for it to get heated. There's multiple outdoor patios. There is also a weekend brunch with a DJ but we did not participate. There is a bar and restaurant on site, and the food and service was good. There are also several restaurants within walking distance (5-10 minutes), an OXXO, and a few nice cafe/coffee shops nearby. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, however they charge you for each coffee pod used. Some of these rooms go for upwards of $500 USD a night. I personally find it tacky to be charged for using the coffee in the room. Out of hundreded of hotels we've stayed in over the years this has Never happend, and I found it extreamly odd. Managers - please get rid of that, it is not customary and ”cheapens” the overall feel of the hotel. The service was excellent both times we stayed here, the food was decent and setting beautiful. We'll be back!

A very beautiful hotel with a very small door opening. It is a little inconvenient to park in a narrow road at the entrance, but it is still possible to quickly drop off your luggage. The name Art Hotel is not an exaggeration. It has an artistic atmosphere, and many places are beautifully photographed. The view is also first-rate, the small courtyard outside this twin room can see the colorful houses of Guanajuato, which are very good during the day and night. The geographical position is superior, just in the small town, quiet in the middle of noisy, a few minutes walk to the most lively central area and various attractions.

The other reviews have said it mostly. Let me sum up. Location. Guanajuato has much of the city unaccessable by car/taxi. This hotel has parking, down it's back street on reservation. Some other hotels you might have to carry your bags some distance. As it was, I had to carry my bags a block at midnight, and then call to be let in. It is in the city center, on a park square, with most of the public buildings, monuments, etc. When you are walking a lot coming to a home base that is close is important. A hotel off the beatin path might be nice too. The Views. None of the reviews talked about the roof of the hotel. It has some nice views that are worth the stay alone. I asked for an upper floor room, thinking I might get one of those balconies by default. No dice, but sitting on the roof was plenty consolation for the two flights of stairs. Plus, it largely cut out the noise from the square. The hot tub was out of commission though. Convenience. This is a historic hotel. Small rooms, mexican tiled bathrooms, carved wood doors. If you decided to come to Guanajuato, why would you stay in a Hilton? The hotel has a hodge podge design, of convoluted stairs and additions, that resemble the towns construction, built up over centuries. It has a beautiful old world lobby. The staff were on the spot, and helpful with old school butler efficiency, answering all questions.
