It's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!

The hotel is not bad, an all-inclusive island, and I have been on vacation for the second time. All with friends. The hotel facilities are a bit old, I heard that renovations will start next year. You must bring enough tips. The hotel staff on this island generally have a better attitude towards white people, but only you can tip enough. Every night is a buffet mode, but there are different national-themed delicacies every day, and there are many and rich things. The price is once when you eat in a high-end restaurant, and there are three free trips or projects. We went to the local residents island, it is not recommended to go, it is not fun at all and not very good. Seaplanes are charged in US dollars, and overweight will also add money. The hotel toiletries are very average. It is recommended to bring some by yourself, including the snacks in the room, which are not very delicious. Buying things in shops on the island is very expensive, and they are all priced in US dollars. Diving equipment can be taken for free, but it is not very good, and you can bring it home.

I don't have enough good things to say about Perla and the beautiful people that run it. I'm not long back from a worldschooling hub that was organised and run here and it was AMAZING. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Delightfully cool to retreat from the heat. Fridge, kettle, fresh filtered water every day and cleaned every day too! The restaurant and food was great and the team couldn't do enough for us. Everywhere was serviced with attention and love and this family run business is a huge part of what made our trip so fantastic. All the ocean based activities and their knowledge of and care for the local aquatic wildlife with their expert guides (who were amazing with the kids too) was outstanding. I've travelled a LOT and this was up there as one of my absolute best experiences. Felt so well looked after on every level. Being within a local island among Maldivians and hopefully supporting local families was the best way to experience this stunning part of the world. When we arrived at the hotel it was small but clean hotel, we were on a half board basis the first evening meal was a bbq but was only sausage and chicken with nothing else available my wife is vegetarian, next morning we went down for breakfast around 8am very minimal choice in hot plates which had no heat underneath them so the food was very cold and this was the case for the other 7 days and in the evening we were served one choice of sometimes a soup then one choice of main course and a tiny piece of sponge for dessert ( the idea of half board is that they provide a buffet choice of hot and cold starters, main courses, vegetables, salad, bread and desserts if you went 15 minutes after they started everything was cold, The staff at the hotel are very young with hardly and training or experience as for example they allowed children to swim in the pool before the opening times and then run all through the hotel soaking wet and sitting all over the furniture and not saying a word, As regards to the senior management or CEO I contacted him to say when our flight arrived and the contact at the airport said that the didn't know if we were coming as the hotel hadn't been informed but I had WhatsApp evidence. We were meant to stay 8 nights at the hotel but due to an early morning flight we had to stay only 7 nights so I spoke to the CEO before leaving uk and he confirmed that we could stay in there sister hotel in Male on the same board basis and price, 3 days before we were due to leave the hotel the receptionist said that I had no booking at there hotel in male and I even shown her the confirmation from the Ceo We had to wait until the evening before we left for them to confirm this and then we left to travel to Male and the disaster continues when we arrived at the airport we went to the desk for the transfer to the hotel only to be told they knew nothing about us after showing them the conversation between me and the ceo finally we got picked up at The airport 1 hour later, then we arrived at the sister hotel and they said we didn't have a booking, so after about 45 mins of waiting we got shown to our room the hotel was like a 1940s new York dodgy apartment we came down to have something to eat only to be told that we where not on a half board basis after complaining to both hotels and the ceo and showing the the conversation between us showing on what he had agreed we ate. The next morning we arranged a transfer to the airport the night porter was fast asleep when I came down and asked about the transfer he said I need to book it for you 15 minutes later we left for the airport. The senior management of the hotel don't care about there guests and everything is a battle. Dhangethi is a lovely island and everyone is so friendly and helpful and it's so safe we had an amazing time apart from the hotels

It was our second stay at Maafushivaru in October 2024, our first was in 2021 when it was still LTI. A few things have changed, but it was excellent nevertheless. Every member of the staff is total friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the island is still really beautiful and well maintained. Also the villas were still beautiful and were very well cleaned. My experience at the spa was excellent and booked the hot stone massage twice, because it was so good and really helped to ease my muscle tension - can totally recommend it to everyone who needs fast relaxation. The only thing that we missed was the entertainment at the bar: In 2021 there had been live music twice a week from a cover band called ,,songbird duo“ that was extremely great and even cool dj sessions (DJ Simon). The bar was always packed and the vibe was special back then, since both acts were so good :) But maybe it was because we went in low season this time, we did not ask the staff. We are not good at names, so I cannot name every member of the staff and as I mentioned before: all members were really good at their job, but my husband and me want to point out MOOSA (our host) and the NICE LADIES FROM BALI and the manager OF THE SPA - You were some of the kindest and most professional specialists that we ever met and we met a lot ;) Also all staff members at the restaurants and the bar were outstanding to us!!! Overall good, the restaurant service is superb, the package is also very good for three meals, there are many fish in the morning and evening under the water house, most of the coral is dead. The front desk service is general, and the whole face is stinky in the next few days.

The beach room is very satisfactory, with front and back yards, a jacuzzi in the back yard, and a view of the sea and the ocean in the front yard. The environment is very quiet, the service is great, everyone is very enthusiastic, all three meals are delicious, I love ice cream, all kinds of soft drinks are delicious, there is also a tennis court, it's a pity that I didn't bring tennis shoes this time, I will come again next time. The water is very transparent, you can see colorful fish when snorkeling, and you can also see many big sharks in the trench.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Centara Grand Resort in the Maldives. The entire staff was amazing and incredibly kind throughout my stay.
