From the Shinkansen Gifu Hashima station 5 minutes, there is no problem in the distance ..., but there are many restaurants in the north exit of the station, and there is nothing in the south exit of the hotel. Do you feel inconvenient? It is thankful that users in the car can use a free large parking lot. The staff, including the front desk, were pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and I was able to enjoy it slowly. And this time I asked for a room with a Shinkansen, but it is the best location for railroad lovers. However, for those who are not interested in railways, there are Shinkansen and MEITETSU nearby, and the noise may be concerned! ? Breakfast is not changed to other Toyoko INN, but it was very delicious.
I used it for the first time. It's only a surprise from check-in. I'm booking with 2 names, but it's suddenly said that it's 2 names single! I think I'll get the hotel key and move from the front desk to the elevator, and usually say ”please take a slow time”, but there is no. I think the room was also ranged and it was good, but just in front of the window was surprised at the entrance of the next apartment! Well, it may be possible to take care of the location, but I thought I could take care of it a little more. The curtains were not open even during the daytime. I found that there were not many guests at the front desk, so I went out without leaving the keys, and when I checked out, there were other guests at the front desk and the accommodation fee was prepaid. I left the hotel without saying anything.

We stayed here for two people for one night without meals while sightseeing in Gifu Hashima. The price was reasonable and the room was quite spacious. There was no large public bath or hot spring. Well, that's what you get for the price. We mostly just slept there and had little contact with the staff, but we didn't have any unpleasant impressions.

I was heading from Osaka to one of my host families near Nagoya central station when I happened to find this rather peculiar place to stay on the way. It is a small stop at Gifuhashima station. A small town with indoor skiing and not far from monet's Garden. The hosts at Cocone are a wonderful and friendly couple that seem to want nothing but the best for their customers. I first tried the capsule area for a couple of days, which by the way is divided by gender. There I met rather interesting guests. For instance a boyband group and various bloggers. We all had some chat in the shared kitchen and living area. The owner also told me that there are private rooms for those who want to stay more discrete or need more personal space. I would also suggest the private rooms if you need a good sleep and dont want to hear others snore or if you dont like to share bathroom and shower facilities with up 15 other guests. Unless you travel with many friends or your whole family. I felt tempted and had to try at least one night in their private rooms. There one can relax taking a hot bath after their shower or cook in their own secluded kitchen space. There are beds for at least 4-5 people in each private room and space for dining or study. They even have a wa****su (Japanese room) style area, with tatami (Japanese straw floor coverings) and a private TV. There is both a landromat and a ticket vendor for discounted Bullet-train tickets on the first floor of the same building as the Guest House. So no worries about either dirty clothes or future travel plans. If your stomach screams empty, there are both a conveniece store and a medium-sized grocery store at a walking distance from where you sleep. The conveniece store is, as always in Japan, open all hours of the clock everyday. When I needed to leave, I just walked to the high-speed-rail station, which is a few minutes away. It was a great stay and I hope more people will find this calm and relaxing place for a short or long period of well earned rest before their next destination.
I was scheduled to go to Nagoya on a day trip, but I wanted to go to Gifu to sightseeing, so I booked a week ago GW. I was lucky to be able to make a reservation. There is a free parking lot, but when it is full, there are many paid parking lots nearby. It is 500 yen. The room is very clean, the public bath is on the 14 floor and 2 floor and has a clean feeling. The breakfast was very delicious with a buffet. I was satisfied overall. The photo is Gifu Hashima Station taken from the room.
