We were on a 15day holiday in Japan and stayed 1 night here while in Fukui. Glad we chose this hotel. We drove 2 cars. Hotel parking cost 500Yen overnight. It is very near the train station and we could find restaurants for dinner. It was a good stopover in Fukui. The rooms seems to be half renovated. While the bathroom and vanity top seems really outdated, the beds and carpet were new. The 2 queensized bed was so comfortable and very spacious for our family. The hotel has no kitchen and does not have a breakfast option. There was a arcade section with claw machines that could keep the kids entertained. This seems to be a family oriented hotel. We would like to thank the frontdesk Manager for helping to send a luggage that we left behind to Nagoya for us. We could not find a email to your website. Thank you for all your help, please note that we have paid TaQbin in full as well. Hope the hotel will read this. Overall, would recommend this hotel for family.

It was my first stay in Fukui. Convenient near the station, reasonable price, and comfortable space with different layouts from other hotels. However, the toilet in the bathroom was small, and somehow it was unnatural inclination in the toilet seat and it felt unsettled. It is no problem that the minimum amenities are required, but I thought that it was not less than one bath towel and one hand towel. And it was a breakfast setting, but I thought that it was not necessary to be that content (including the amount) even after the corona disturbance. You will be pleased to discount 100 yen or 200 yen. I made a reservation because the price setting was cheap, but I don't think I will make a reservation if it is a normal price. It became a good study.
The location is good if the price is cheap and you go by car. There are several restaurants, supermarkets and bakery within walking distance, so you don't have to eat. Breakfast buffet is also quite delicious. Maybe you should make a reservation directly from the titanium in page a while ago.
Too expensive (opportunistic price hike) Following the prefectural resident discount, there is a national travel support program, but the price increase goes beyond what is intended, making it completely meaningless. Travel support discounts are a good deal because they are discounted from the previous price, but it seems like a scam to set the base accommodation fee so high in the first place. Moreover, even if you take advantage of the discount, if you stay overnight on Saturdays and Sundays, the total amount you pay will end up being higher. I used to stay here regularly because it was good value for money, but I probably won't stay here again. Perhaps due to a lack of manpower, the food service is sloppy and slow. There are plenty of options at other inns for the 10,000 yen range. In the first place, I don't know what the special feature is, it's an accommodation facility that just sleeps, so why do they set the price like this? As a result, major foreign-funded hotel chains are like this. I think that after public funds stop coming in, customers who are not stupid will choose accommodation facilities in the true sense of the word. At least I won't be using Kamenoi Hotel Fukui again in the future.

Outstanding
GGuest UserLocated in a downtown area about a 10-minute walk from Fukui Station, there are many one-way streets and crowded streets, and the road to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel is a bit difficult. Check-in is manned and payment is machine style. Have free coffee in the front lobby and go to your room. The room is a general Dormy Inn Standard, with a certain size and no feeling of oppression. There are about 30 lockers for the 9th floor large communal bath, 10 washrooms in the bathroom, an indoor bath and a sauna bath for about 7 people, and an open-air bath and a cherry blossom bath for about 4 people outside. Sakuragi along the Asuwa River seen from the bathroom window was in full bloom. Free ice cream and unreasonable lactic acid beverages are placed at the bathhouse by time of day. Breakfast was on the 1st floor, with Japanese and Western buffets, Echizen soba noodles, and local dishes such as Atsuage and Sesame Tofu from Eiheiji Temple. I was able to spend comfortably with stable Dormy Inn Standard, room, bath and breakfast.
Hhula2343Every time I have work in Fukui
I am using it.
The service is perfect.
The Chinese noodle service at night is plentiful.
It's enough for dinner, let alone a snack.
I forgot to give the password for the public bath when I arrived.
I guess that's the origin
TTeeny TehA cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!
FfwnyThe location is very convenient from Fukui Station. I moved by limousine bus between Komatsu Airport and Fukui Station, but there is a roof from the bus stop to the hotel, and you can reach it without getting wet even in rain. Although the building itself is old, the room did not feel old enough and was able to stay without any inconvenience. I was personally happy to see YouTube on TV. The exact price is unknown because it was a reservation with a set with a ticket, but it was able to finish it quite cheaply.
ワワンタンIt was my first stay in Fukui. Convenient near the station, reasonable price, and comfortable space with different layouts from other hotels. GGuest UserIt's a bit far to walk from the station, but it's not far enough to take a taxi. You'll arrive without any hesitation. All the necessary amenities are provided, but unfortunately there are no convenience stores nearby even if you would like to add some late-night snacks or drinks. The standard twin room was clean, spacious and comfortable. This may be due to the less crowded season, but it was nice to be able to use the hot springs. And as everyone has written, the buffet breakfast was very delicious with a wide variety and not too strong of a flavor. Breakfast is definitely recommended.
GGuest UserThis is about 2 minutes walk from Fukui Station, and if you go under the JR elevated, you can go without getting wet in the rain. There are almost two combinations and downtown in front of you. The hotel is new. The front desk was usually a good response. Free coffee can be served in the lobby. The room also comes in with a card key. The room is simple and smooth, the bed is large, the bed is large and the height is low, and I like it. Amenities and attached facilities in the room are not a rich hotel with a well-known color, but there is no security box. The meal had a good variety of side dishes in the Japanese style, and the restaurant was wide 々 relaxing and slowly delicious. The public bath was small and the hot water was warm but it was good to put it slowly. Amenities were jump, rinse, body soap, shaving cream and shaving. The sleeping clothes are Jinping. The feeling of the bed and the height of the pillow were personally suitable and I could sleep well until the morning. The network was free and stable with wi-hi and was able to use at a reasonable speed. Only Japanese guests met. All of the public baths, services and cost performance were high hotels.

Yōkōkan Garden
Jjkidd28The courtyard of Yanghao Hall is a villa of the main Songping family, transformed from 7 generations of Yoshida, and the building is surrounded by the return-style Linquan courtyard. Due to partial damage, the repair took several years to restore it to its current appearance.
Fukui Castle
CChenhutamuFukui City has long existed, and now what is left is some sites, and others have become the office buildings of Fukui Prefecture Government. The remnants of the previous building can still be seen on the site, and there is a well, called Fukui, which should be the origin of the local name.
Ichijōdani Asakura Ruins
空空空CJVery beautiful, impressive and worth seeing. You can also view from the roof. The sculpture hall designed by the sculptor Mr. Asakura is impressive and very interesting, with many works on display. There are some large works, some small ones are very good. Add all the above factors, I think it is worth a look. We like it very much. If it is in the central area of the valley, it is very easy to find.
Dinosaur Square
Ssaku-sakuDinosaurs from the moment you get off the station! Even if you don't like dinosaurs, you get a little excited.
Fukui Prefectural Museum of Cultural History
CChenhutamuThis museum is on the edge of Yanghao Garden. If there is enough time, you can take a look on the way. But because there are not many exhibitions, and they are all Japanese, they will come out soon.
Asuwayama Park
Zzlj8811Yuzu Mountain Park is located in the center of Fukui, and you can climb Yuzu Mountain to have a panoramic view of Fukui City. It is said that when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, it is the most beautiful season in Yuzu Mountain, but unfortunately we went in autumn.
