I had read the reviews of this hotel and picked it because of its location to the valley of the temples. Honestly, I feel like the hotel is trying to do a bit too much. The location is about a 10 minute drive to the valley of the temples. However, it is in a section of town called San Leone which is an area that is a bit rundown. We did take a taxi into town and we were taken to a very lovely area. If you are interested in staying in a more upscale area, this is not the hotel for you. By the time we got to this hotel, we had been to several other boutique locations. I was expecting similar service, but we’re greeted with people who looked like had a very long day and did not even stand up to greet us. It just felt like they could barely be bothered to deal with us. Although they were nice, they just seemed kind of beaten down . I had booked this hotel by translating the website into English. While my first email was in English every other following email arrived in Italian. It took quite some labor to translate all of the messages. I feel like they could do better in dealing with English speaking guests. There are two parking areas. One is behind a closed gate and the other is simply an open air lot. Both of these parking lots are located across the street from the hotel. Because a tour bus was arriving we were encouraged to park in the open air lot. There was also no assistance to try to help us with our bags. Other hotels that we visited, had someone come to our car to help us unload. One of the perks is that if you have dinner at the hotel, they will provide you with a bus service to and from the valley of the temples. I believe they have a 930 drive to the valley and then a noon departure. I think they may also have a separate time frame, but because we had already pre-bought our ticket we did not take advantage of this. The hotel specifically calls itself a museum and spa. When you enter the hotel in the main lobby, there are several cases of artifacts that were found at the valley of the temples or nearby. These artifacts are actually very cool. Sadly, the little cards that were on them were all in Italian and I could not read them. in regards to being a Spa, we did not take advantage of the service so cannot comment on it. Not exactly sure where the Spa even was but other travelers have commented on it. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. My only comment would be that the door knobs were extremely tricky, and we had difficulty figuring it out until we spoke to a maid who hand gesture to us how to do it. They had a nice breakfast where you could eat indoors or outdoors on their lovely patio. Across the street is a pool and a small playground. I also heard that they have access to a beach, but we did not go there. If you have children, this would be a good location for you. There was nothing specifically bad at this hotel but there was also nothing specifically wonderful. It was a bit shabby and we weren’t greet

Beh, che dire dopo aver letto le recensioni, quasi tutte negative, stavo per annullare tutto, ma appena arrivato mi sono dovuto ricredere. Aria condizionata funzionante, piscina in perfetto stato, unica pecca acqua alta min 1,60 , mass. 1,90. Posizione ottima per una visita ai templi di Agrigento.qualcosa sulla pulizia, come foglie di palme secche, lasciate in giro, vicino al parcheggio, insomma con un pò più di attenzione avrebbe meritato le 5 stelle. Non mi pronuncio sul ristorante perché non ho pranzato, solo colazione sia dolce che salata.. Personale alla reception cortese e disponibile.

My companion and I wanted to give a trip to Sicilia, Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. At Agrigento was impossible not to go to see the Valle dei Templi, so we chose this hotel, we were enthusiastic about all the points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people working on it are the most, They were very kind and very friendly.They knew to answer any question with expertise, and then the dinner, which I could say, great, I didn't imagine the restaurant of a hotel was like that! The care in the pieces served is certainly 10, they have a cook or cook beyond any expectation, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, advising, telling and explaining the pieces, It was not only good food but also aware that the gentlemen of the servicemen had been able to tell simple foods. Stayed with a tour group. First impressions were good-really ornate smart lobby area but sadly went downhill quite quickly. Spiral staircase not very practical for a hotel when everyone comes with luggage. Beds too soft & squeaked badly. Soundproofing wasn't anywhere near good enough for the standard of hotel. Ordered to sit at specific tables at breakfast but not told about this on check in. Some items were not being replenished very quickly at breakfast & wasn't easy to see where to find what you wanted. Hotel on a busy road in an industrial area. Lidl supermarket next door, one pizzeria down the street, another is advertised but wasn't open when we looked. Otherwise very limited facilities in the immediate area. Evening meals are served at the hotel but no pizzas and menu choices there were had higher prices than any other places we ate in Sicily so didn't bother. Dinner service doesn't open until 7.30. Shame did not get to use the pool but was glad to only be staying one night. Would not recommend.
