This is anything but a typical airport hotel. Located in a former 16th century monastery, it is a haven of tranquility with beautiful well kept inner yard and gardens. There were always plenty of space in a big outdoor pool that is surrounded by greenery. Kids are welcome in the pool area although it was mostly adults during our stay. Our room in the old building was a little dark but we spent little time there. Unlike many Italian hotels, it has a kettle in it. Unfortunately, only herb teas were available. Service was ok. Breakfast is very good with plenty of fresh fruits available. To improve breakfast experience further, I would ban smoking completely on the terrace. Dining in the peaceful green inner yard in the summer is almost a surreal experience.

We selected Hotel Opera on its location to the airports as we were on an early flight. We could not have chosen better, under a 10 minute drive back to the hire car rental on the airport. Room was comfortable and clean. Wi Fi was strong. Car parking secure Check in and check out was done at the same time as the hotel do not have staff working in the hotel overnight!

At that price the hotell is located perfectly. Very close to the airport, 11€ taxi to the airport, 18€ to Verona centro. Buss to Verona just outside the hotell. The hotell is nothing fancy, and has some negative sides. The biggest drawbacks is the lack of soundisolation, you can hear clearly regular conversations from the room nextdoor. Also when other guests in other rooms flushes their toilet, water is running through the toilet in your toom aswell, making lots of sounds. The small town of Dossobueno has nothing interesting.

Beautiful hotel, amazing rooms, great swimming pool. The people are very friendly. The only downside is that it is far away from the city center, and the transportation cannot work 24 hours a day, but everything else is fine

Abbiamo prenotato 4 camere matrimoniali per una notte il 28 Settembre per l'ultimo concerto di Baglioni all' Arena. Reception con personale molto cortese e disponibile a darci informazioni per il centro di Verona e dove parcheggiare il nostro pulmino. Parcheggio gratis . Camere pulite, colazione ottima e abbondante. Posizione strategica per visita di Verona. Consigliato vivamente

The location of West Point Hotel is quite strategic with Decathlon and Iper Familia across the street. The bus station is around 200 meter away. Actually it is much nearer if the side gate is opened. We took bus from Verona Porta Nuova to Dossobuono and dropped in front of Decathlon, walked a little bit and we reached the hotel. The breakfast was abundant and had many varieties. The room was clean and tidy, enough for single traveler like me.

Prenotato in quanto miglior soluzione come tappa giusto per una notte, grande carenza non offrire la colazione contando il costo a notte dovrebbe comprenderla. Difficoltà nel trovarlo in quanto nella medesima struttura di un centro medico e l'insegna è visibile solo una volta arrivati all'ingresso (inoltre su Maps l'indirizzo porta all'hotel accanto con nome pressoché identico). Camera moderna e spaziosa, stranezza la doccia fuori dal bagno (emozionale con luci e radio) che comunque perde un po' d'acqua quindi da sistemare le guarnizioni alla base. Il receptionist ha insistito per il pagamento della tassa di soggiorno in contanti e solo dopo avergli fatto vedere fisicamente i portafogli vuoti se non con carte ha acconsentito a farci pagare con il pos. Da normativa si può saldare sia in contanti sia con carta o bonifico la tassa di soggiorno: è stato davvero maleducato da parte del receptionist insistere e dirmi anche testualmente ”forse viaggia poco ed è poco informata”. Si è zittito solo dopo che gli ho detto essere io perito turistico e saper bene la normativa vigente, quindi che le sue pretese non erano affatto corrette e per di più con fare molto maleducato. Personale da rivedere decisamente.

Had stayed here before only because it being very close to the airport ＞ the rooms are nice and comfortable＞ as our flight got cancelled we requested for another night which they did confirm but only after reminding them 4 hours later ＞ The staff needs to be more friendly＞ also after the first night had requested them that the heater (air Conditioner ) of my room did not work last night and was very cold when I come back in the evening nothing was done but they did keep the heater on of the bathroom opened so the room can get warm ＞ but these problems especially in this cold weather should be taken care off ＞ as we stayed here for the more than one night so had breakfast which I would say was just about nothing so great ＞ requested for a big taxi for the airport as we had luggage but they could arrange two small one Ok but it seems that the taxi persons were not informed to where as one of the taxi just took off to the railway station without asking and in two minutes we got to know requested to go to the airport which is hardly any distance from the hotel ＞ paid 15 euro for one taxi and this taxi guy said that he will charge 35 euro which was really strange and bad on his part ＞ only mentioning is that please do be careful and inform the taxi person before he starts the car otherwise you will be overcharged ＞
