I was to have a meeting in delhi and have been avoiding it as I truly do not like that city. However, since I had to go myself, I was on a lookout for a place that is not a tower hotel! I came across this boutique luxury hotel called The ***or and felt it just perfect also it was just 16 mins away from Connaught Place, where my meeting was scheduled. The cobble paths for cars, 12 room property in a quiet neighbourhood of Friends Colony was more than I could have ever imagined, it was beyond bang on. It was everything I wanted it to be. I reached at dinner time and Camillo’s is where V and I had an Italian meal. The salmon linguine was one of the best I’ve had. Eating happily under some heat and in the outdoor garden with the slight Delhi chill in the air. Room 2 was nice and spacious with a little veranda, it was on the Ground floor,,this signature room was fine but the shower cubicle is too tiny and needs to be spacious! The next night after my meeting I ate at Inja, their Indian - Japanese restaurant on the property. It’s an experience like no other. I’m blown away and everyone I know in Delhi or travelling there should eat here! Taste, texture, guidance and flavours full of goodness made me a total fan of the food and the crazy yummm cocktails! I think I had 3! I cannot stop raving about this deliciousness called Inja! If someone says Delhi to me now, this will be my preferred place! The ***or is quaint, charming and is made for me. See you’ll in March 2024 for a longer stay! A special shout out to: Supradeep - the mixologist who took us through the cocktail adventure! Akashdeep- very helpful and attentive! If you are taking a flight from terminal 1 this hotel is perfect.5 minutes walk to the terminal. But if you want to take a flight from terminal 2 or 3, hotels in Aero City may be more convenient. To terminal 2 or 3 hotel taxi can take you with 580 rupees. Hotel taxi driver can pick you up at terminal 2 or 3. But you have to be careful where you meet the driver. I had difficulty in communicating with the driver. With the help of local people, finally I could spot the driver. Hotel is comfortable. My suite room had a balcony facing terminal 1. Room is spacious enough. WiFi not connecting well . Shower water was lukewarm . Food menu is limited ( no non vegetarian)and rather overpriced. Service is good. Warm and helpful staff.

This was my 4th visit or possibly 5th...I really like my stay here. The staff are friendly (English is tough for some) but they will do anything to help and support you. I enjoy having the possibility of meeting lots of other visitors, either during breakfast or in the evening time on the terrace. A great opportunity to meet people from other cultures. Your room has a kettle and fridge which is handy. As I'm a girl on my own, I feel very safe at this home and would recommend this accommodation for travellers who are by themselves. Close by is a small market area and very easy to get a tuk tub and close to Green Park and Haaz village. Parking for visitor is tricky as its residential area. |This would always be my choice in Delhi..

I chose this hotel for a couple of night stay on 30th and 31st Dec 2022. I had a lot of baggage since we were flying international and were had also booked an extra bed in the room. The reason for choosing the property was that it is centrally located (and also within 30 mins of IGIA) and has really good size rooms as compared to other hotels in central Delhi. My only other option in this budget was to go and choose a hotel in Aerocity, which I did not prefer as it is a bit far away from central Delhi. Staff was very helpful and welcoming any time of the day (or night) and agreed to almost everything I I requested (including extra plates for food I ordered from outside). Only and biggest problem I faced was the bathrooms and plumbing. The first room I was given was huge and had a good sized bathroom, but the drainage was very poor and hence it was almost flooded each time we took bath. The solution they came up with was that they will immediately come and clean it after each bath (yawn!!!), which to their credit they happily did... But then I realized that the toilet was leaking as well and next morning I requested a room change as that is not something they could fix immediately... They obliged and helped me move to the new room (which was slightly smaller than the first one). Funnily one of the bathroom hoses in that new room was also leaking and hence the floor was constantly wet. I complained again and this time they were able to replace the hose and fix the problem within 15 mins. Rest of the stay was good except for these plumbing issues. The hotel restaurant is still not up and running fully after Covid lockdowns, and the room service is the only option (a bit limited). The bar and drinks service is also not available since they have reopened after Covid.

All I can say is that our experience has been nothing less than how we expect family to be treated. Yes, that's the treatment we received and were pampered here. I could name the entire staff as all of them were amazing and went over and above their normal call of duty. The house keeping staff were so polite, there was always a smile on their face during every service. The restaurant and room service staff have no distinguished profile.

Stay was cool and utmost thing of the trip during stay, behaviour of the staff was amazing...No more words one word - AMAZING. Food also delicious. Specially its located in the heart of the city which is near to NZM railway station from where you can catch train for Taj.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Toronto and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made me feel welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern decor and comfortable furnishings. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a breathtaking view of the city skyline.
