We were very disappointed with our stay. After check in we wanted to use the loving swimming pool, but this is only open at the weekend. Two months ago we had booked the rooms with a table in the connected restaurant Academy including the 7-Gang Degustation menu. We took place in the restaurant and the server told us there was no degustation menu. Since the disappointment was great and there was no alternative, we finally changed the local. The behaviour was very unprofessional, since we had repeatedly stressed that we wished this menu. The staff was very embarrassing, but could not save the situation now.

The location is next to the ski resort in Medvednica National Park, about 20 km away from the center of Zagreb and the road was winding, so it was a bit difficult. It was nice to receive it and the air is the best because it is on the top of the mountain. I couldn't use the sauna because I didn't have time, but I healed from the balcony in the forest for free parking.

It's hard to write an honest review of this hotel because there's not really any fault with it in itself... BUT... it is VERY remote right at the top of a mountain about 10 miles outside of the city and it takes at least an hour to get back and forth along a very narrow winding road so, if like us, you were thinking of staying here and popping back and forth, think again. The hotel is really a ski hotel and geared mainly to accommodate the small ski resort nearby therfore the season it caters for is winter. This wasn't clear at the time of booking so when we arrived at the end of the summer (September) the pool was closed for cleaning, there was no drinking water due to seasonal maintenence and other services closed or limited etc. Having booked to stay the week we cancelled our booking and only stayed the one night. Bottom line is it's a nice, clean hotel and the staff were all very friendly but it wasn't what we we're led to believe at the time of booking, hence writing this review in the hope that it stops other travellers being misled.

Take this Hotel for one night in Zagreb to visit friends. Hotel is smal but very cmfortable and new. Breakfast is for *** very good. Rooms little bit smal but normaly it is used for business. You can use also SAP and Gym center. Bar has open very long and drinks are in normal price.
