We booked this hotel for our daughter’s 6th birthday we did the stay and play package and booked the princess suite. We also booked the birthday package. The hotel was very clean no problems all the staff was lovely and always spoke to us and especially our daughter and wished her happy birthday. Our daughter loved the birthday treat from the mascot who came to the door. The bed was very comfortable and the food was good. The only thing was that you needed to book a time to order your food. We are looking forward to coming back. The hotel booked us a taxi when we was leaving for the train station the taxi was taking its time and the reception team went above and beyond to get us a taxi.
A luxurious place to stay in the centre of Warrington. This place offers self check in with no reception but the system worked perfectly for access and felt very safe inside the building. The room/apartment style room was fantastic with luxury feeling and high end finishing. The kitchenette’s are a nice touch allowing guests to self cater with the minimum of having fridge, sink and utensils available with hob and microwave. Would highly recommend this place if you are needing to stay in Warrington. Just one note, room 7 which I had has a lovely brick wall as a view and has the heating/ventilation system hum outside the window.

I've stayed in other hotels previously when in Warrington for work and this time someone recommended staying here. It's a small hotel (only 15 rooms) I think, so it can get booked up quickly! The pictures on the website make it look very nice and relaxing, and I can confirm that the hotel does look like the website. The room was a good size and had everything you need for a short stay. Comfy bed, desk area with tea/coffee/biscuits. Nice bathroom with a powerful shower. Big TV (which was too 'smart' for me. You can stream from your phone, or watch YouTube , but I did struggle to watch actual 'normal' TV channels. Not an issue as I was only there for 1 night otherwise I would have asked someone for help) The window had a blind on it which blocked out every bit of possible light (much better than any other hotel room I've stayed in) However, there was a bit of light coming through under the main room door, and I noticed I could also hearing some coughing and other noises during the night. Room would be even better if they made the doors a bit tighter and they would then be soundproof. Continental breakfast is included or you can choose to pay £10 for a cooked breakfast. I just had a latte (which was very nice), Croissant (warm and fresh tasting!) and a bowl of fruit. Great that this is included in the room price. All the staff I spoke to were really friendly and pleasant, and it definitely feels more like a family run small hotel (which is much nicer than a big chain) Overall had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. It was cheaper than other hotels in the area but everything was better quality and nicer. Will definitely book here next time I need to stay over in Warrington.
Very helpful and polite staff. Didn’t eat here as i went to a party so can’t comment on the food. Room was clean, the blind clattered a bit against the window sill when I walked around the room so I had to lift it a tiny bit but the car park was empty so privacy was maintained. There were several cobwebs above the lights in the bathroom above the mirror but everything else was clean and the air con was perfect as the duvet was roasting lol
use thus hotel whenever I visit the office, it is great, only 5 mins by car from the office very good access by road and plenty of parking. The accessible rooms are really nice and clean, the bar is great with good independent drinks and the menu is top notch, even for us veggies. Nice breakfast menus also, Veggie Brekky and even cheesy beans on toast. The staff are all very friendly and helpful too, seem to understand what they are there for and the importance of their role.
I stayed 2 nights on the last weekend in September. Everything was really good. The staff were welcoming and obliging. The room was nicely furnished and well equipped. The location is peaceful and very pretty. Breakfast offered an excellent choice and the hot options were well cooked. During the day my room was serviced and restocked with essentials even though I had not requested it specifically which was a sign staff were attentive and mindful of one's needs. I did not have to ask for anything as it was done as a matter of routine. Outside there is a huge car park and the driveway ensures the hotel is set back from the road, surrounded by trees. I was able to take a morning stroll before breakfast in the well tended grounds. I was returning to this area where I grew up 50 years ago when we lived in Lymm. Lymm has changed a bit but still retains its wonderful character. I would definitely come back to Statham Lodge and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
My partner now requires an accessible room and restaurant/bar. Our experiences within the UK is varied but up until now we have not stayed anywhere where from our point of view accessibility has been seriously thought about. Let me say now that my husband can walk a little with a walker but generally reliant on a wheelchair but does not require a hoist. The Partridge has taken accessibility (for his level of disability) seriously, our room was lovely without too much furniture and plenty of turning space, the bathroom had a raised loo, plenty of handholds & wet room shower, everything was in good condition. From the room to the restaurant there were 3 or 4 stairs with a wheelchair lift attached. Staff were willing and able to help and made the stay a pleasure. One unrelated thing to note - the bar had a menu displayed with a long list of alcohol free drinks - as the driver in our family this was much appreciated, the coffee was unusually good as well. This is definitely a place we will stay again - we booked initially to give ourselves an overnight break between the Lake District, Martin Mere and our home in Reading. Thanks to all the staff & well done!
Stayed here to go to a Liverpool football match the next day and got to say not very impressed! There was 4 us but they only had 3 pillows & As we went out of the hotel to get dinner the gentleman at the desk said if we needed anymore pillows. I advised yes and if we could get these on the way back.. came back to the hotel to a woman on the front desk tell us no more pillows left! Me and partner ended up sharing 1 pillow and it was the worst nights sleep ever! The pull out bed was so uncomfortable I felt bad our little one sleeping on it! I know it’s a budget hotel but we all deserve a pillow each and at least a shower gel! We’ve slept better places for cheaper than here! We didn’t have the best experience at one of the Ibis hotels in Birmingham either last year! Will be sticking to Travel Lodge from now on!
