Hotel location is far from Harlow mill, not too far away, not very close The town was originally a remote place. The customer came to the business trip. The hotel brought its own restaurant bar. It is better than the hotel itself. The hotel is the kind of domestic hotel. The town of Samsung is already the best. But the restaurant is very good The decoration is very antique. The menu is rich. The dishes are delicious. If it is still recommended, eat It’s not very good to live, but it’s estimated to be good here.

Friendly staff at hostel run by landlord, wife and sun. Provide service, japanese cuisine from Osaka, found it very tasty with many flavour range in the meal Hostel situated in a park, quiet location. Great self caring facilities, has additional kitchen with gas hob with microwave and oven. Also additional food added occassionaly, ideal for budget and also close distance travel to london and Stansted Airport. I want to book to come back to again here in the future, I enjoyed stay here.

From the moment I arrived I was given the VIP treatment. All the staff were helpful from helping me with the correct car parking procedure as I was running late. The meal was an outstanding five course which deserved a Michelin Star, at an unbelievably competitive price. I should have photographed at least the main course, starter & desert. Very sorry. The function room when I think about it now, was a bit on the bland side but wasn’t noticeable on the day due to the great company I was with and the wonderful band that entertained us. The restaurant area was more cosy and intimate, so ignore the bland function room. The whole hotel was immaculate and spacious with large rooms and plenty of car parking spaces. Wishing people a nice stay like myself.

When I originally phoned the hotel I requested an early check in as my son was getting married at 2pm. I was asked to call the day before to check times which I did, as they we're still unsure I was asked to call again the morning of arrival. The receptionist was extremely helpful and said we can arrive for an 11 check-in but as there were 4 of us we would be on separate floors which wasn't a problem. We arrived at 11am to be told we were on the same floor as she had managed to jiggle the rooms around. We wanted some more tea, milk and sugar for our room and we're given a handful of everything which was great from the very helpful cleaner and again for the other 2 people in our party at the front desk who again couldn't have been more helpful. The self service breakfast was brilliant. Couldn't fault anything. Thank you again for accommodating our needs.

I don’t know where to start. The most horrific hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are not just outdated they are “renovated” with the most terrible work. Paint on curtains, leaks in ceiling I could go on. The cold water was out for one whole day and night (only boiling hot water was available) They even tried to charged us for bottled cold water to clean our teeth. And the following day the reverse happened and we only had cold water so could not shower. They told us this was only an issue in half the hotel! Upon checkout my bill had more than 10 items of bar consumption that i didn’t use and they tried to present me receipts without my signature. Then after 15 minutes of arguing they finally took it off the bill. Then I asked for compensation for not having water and they offered me 60£. They then changed their minds and asked me to pay in full staying they had compensated me for the bar bill and that was my “discount”. This was not even my consumption! The service is just appalling by the front desk I urge you don’t stay here

Well can honestly say what good value this was . Room was clean and I slept like a baby . Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a sink and a smart TV . The only downside is that it’s a shared bathroom but for 1 night for somewhere to put your head down it’s good value and location good for what I needed it for . Would definitely stay here again . Don’t read all the bad reviews otherwise you wouldn’t stay .

My wife and I had an amazing night away with some friends. Lovely warm welcome at reception and everything about the hotel was clearly explained. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with high ceilings a large bathroom. The whole place has a lovely chilled vibe and the downstairs area has recently had a refurbishment and is stunning and even though they were very busy as they had a wedding on the service we received from all the staff was excellent they were all so friendly. We all had a lovely afternoon on the outside terrace sipping cocktails, we also ordered a few small plates of food from the menu which were also very tasty. We had dinner in the Garden room restaurant and it was absolutely amazing, really well presented and cooked to perfection and most importantly tasted delicious. Special thanks to Ilayja our waitress who was so lovely and was so attentive and friendly a real asset to the hotel. We must also mention Erhan the general manager who was running the restaurant who from the minute we sat down was an absolute gentleman. Thank you for making our evening special. After dinner we went and had a drink in the lovely bar before retreating to our room where we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is buffet style and was also delicious with plenty of choice. So overall we would highly recommend Down Hall and will definitely be returning.
