Everything was just as it should be. Online check-in and check-out was very easy, the room was quiet and very comfortable and breakfast was first class. The staff were very professional. Excellent value for money and we will definitely stay again.

Staying at The Brambletye is not a nice experience. The corridors upstairs were lined with bags of laundry, the room smelled intensely of bleach covering up mould and their is no one to welcome you. The staff seem surely. We booked for a late arrival on a Friday night and found out that we could not under any circumstances arrive a minute after 11pm that no one would be there and that we would not get a refund. Because we could not get guarantee our arrive before 11pm we had to stay in London and were charged the cost of two rooms. The manager said we told you that there is no check in after 11 when you booked. Poor and disinterested staff + black mould + no food + plain old lack of welcome makes this a very poor choice of hotel for your stay in Forest Row. Go to The Swan or one of the many airbnbs.

The ¥1670 twin room with two breakfasts is not very spacious, there is no small refrigerator, the sound insulation is poor, and the walk outside the doorway can be heard clearly... and it is shocking; there are actually two English-style billiard tables downstairs in the restaurant of the main building for guests.
