First the positives: good location; on a quiet street; nice staff; fast WiFi which worked on the terrace; nice seating area downstairs. The hotel sent me a text, before arrival, with 4 parking options. But: I was surprised that a four star hotel would not have a safe nor a fridge in the room. There is quite a bit of black mould in the shower. Like a lot of Spanish hotels, it advertises that it has air-conditioning, but it doesn’t really mean that. Not in early/mid April anyway. The room was at 25 degrees when we arrived. Reception adjusted something but it only brought the temperature down to 22 degrees and that seemed to take hours.

Excellent location with parking. When I arrived and was shown my room I was very disappointed it bore no resemblance to pics on web site, it was dark and lacked anything that would make me want to stay in it. I approached the staff and he could see nothing wrong with it, but I was eventually allocated a new room. The new room was fine, it was light and clean and had everything i needed. Sadly the restaurant was closed, which would have been fine if i had been given prior notice, now there are enough decent places to eat within a short walk of the hotel. The other thing to realise is that the hotel closes its front door at 11.00 pm and gives you a key code for entry.

It meets all the requirements to qualify it as excellent: very central (on the Place du Municipalité), in a beautiful renaissance building with a magnificent indoor patio on which you can access both floors, large rooms, very clean, The hotel is located in the centre of the city. The hotel is very nice and is very nice and very nice.

This was really memorable stay at this great palace. Which stayed for two nights and it was just right amount of time for Ubeda. November is a quiet time, but we loved it. It was still warm, both the weather and the service of the hotel. I highly recommend.

Tiene 4 estrellas pero realmente debería tener 3. El desayuno es escaso y pobre. Las habitaciones y los baños anticuados. La localización en las afueras al lado de un Carrefour y una gasolinera, andando para llegar al centro se tarda más de media hora. Las camas limpias pero los colchones hundidos. No volvería a este hotel.

The pre check in information was perfect enabling us to drive to the paradores with ease. Parking was not a problem either as a free car park is five minutes. The hotel is a spectacular house with the rooms being beautifuly adapted to give a real feel of stepping v Back into the past the luxury of a wealthy renaissance cleric. The hotel and its history were a pleasure to experience and the seamless service of the staff just made it seem of a different age joyous stay.

GGuest UserIt meets all the requirements to qualify it as excellent: very central (on the Place du Municipalité), in a beautiful renaissance building with a magnificent indoor patio on which you can access both floors, large rooms, very clean, The hotel is located in the centre of the city. The hotel is very nice and is very nice and very nice.

Excellent location with parking. When I arrived and was shown my room I was very disappointed it bore no resemblance to pics on web site, it was dark and lacked anything that would make me want to stay in it. I approached the staff and he could see nothing wrong with it, but I was eventually allocated a new room. The new room was fine, it was light and clean and had everything i needed. Sadly the restaurant was closed, which would have been fine if i had been given prior notice, now there are enough decent places to eat within a short walk of the hotel. The other thing to realise is that the hotel closes its front door at 11.00 pm and gives you a key code for entry.

GGuest UserFirst the positives: good location; on a quiet street; nice staff; fast WiFi which worked on the terrace; nice seating area downstairs. The hotel sent me a text, before arrival, with 4 parking options. But: I was surprised that a four star hotel would not have a safe nor a fridge in the room. There is quite a bit of black mould in the shower. Like a lot of Spanish hotels, it advertises that it has air-conditioning, but it doesn’t really mean that. Not in early/mid April anyway. The room was at 25 degrees when we arrived. Reception adjusted something but it only brought the temperature down to 22 degrees and that seemed to take hours.

GGuest UserThis was really memorable stay at this great palace. Which stayed for two nights and it was just right amount of time for Ubeda. November is a quiet time, but we loved it. It was still warm, both the weather and the service of the hotel. I highly recommend.

GGuest UserTiene 4 estrellas pero realmente debería tener 3. El desayuno es escaso y pobre. Las habitaciones y los baños anticuados. La localización en las afueras al lado de un Carrefour y una gasolinera, andando para llegar al centro se tarda más de media hora. Las camas limpias pero los colchones hundidos. No volvería a este hotel.

TtimdO6968ZUThe pre check in information was perfect enabling us to drive to the paradores with ease. Parking was not a problem either as a free car park is five minutes. The hotel is a spectacular house with the rooms being beautifuly adapted to give a real feel of stepping v Back into the past the luxury of a wealthy renaissance cleric. The hotel and its history were a pleasure to experience and the seamless service of the staff just made it seem of a different age joyous stay.
