Excellent first time stay in the Illa Dor. From start to finish I could not fault our stay. The quality of accommodation was of a high standard, we had a sea view/balcony room, the views were certainly worth the extra cost for this type of room. The food on offer was very, very good, in particular the breakfast, with a vast choice, gives you a great start to your day. Unfortunately the weather was not good, however it meant we experienced the hotels spa, which was very relaxing indeed. It is very clear all the team here take a great pride in their job and this is reflected in the level of service and care we experienced. A special mention must go to Josep on reception and Matilde in the breakfast room, both delivered memorable experiences. Our only regret was that we just booked a 2 night stay. It is safe to say we hope to return, when next back in Port de Pollensa. Highly recommended.

We stayed 4 nights in a standard room. The room is small, you can just pass between the bed and the wall. The bathroom is small too, you need to stand in a corner or in the shower to be able to close the door (that goes inwards). There is no balcony. The room was clean and nice, the bed is large and comfy. Superb AC. The doors seem made out of paper cause you hear everything from the hallway, people walking and talking. The doors close very loud and the elevators beeps. The hotel is about 250 metres from the water and you have to walk a bit further to reach the beach. When we were there, there was no sunbeds on any beach. Lots of restaurants and shops just outside. That also makes the hotel not so quiet, there are deliveries, trash collection etc early in the mornings. We also happened to stay during a festival with loud live music just outside our window until 6.30 AM one day and an amusement park all our nights. Breakfast is very good, it’s a la carte (see picture for menu) and you can sit outside overlooking the square. Dinner was also good. It’s very nice decorated. The staff in the restaurant are hard working, serviceminded and accommodating. The pool is really small but seemed new. It’s on the roof with sunbeds and we enjoyed it. The hotel has no reception, you check in at Hotel Daina 200 meters down the road (which should be very good info in the booking confirmation).

GGuest UserExcellent first time stay in the Illa Dor. From start to finish I could not fault our stay. The quality of accommodation was of a high standard, we had a sea view/balcony room, the views were certainly worth the extra cost for this type of room. The food on offer was very, very good, in particular the breakfast, with a vast choice, gives you a great start to your day. Unfortunately the weather was not good, however it meant we experienced the hotels spa, which was very relaxing indeed. It is very clear all the team here take a great pride in their job and this is reflected in the level of service and care we experienced. A special mention must go to Josep on reception and Matilde in the breakfast room, both delivered memorable experiences. Our only regret was that we just booked a 2 night stay. It is safe to say we hope to return, when next back in Port de Pollensa. Highly recommended.

Very Good
MMatheneWe stayed 4 nights in a standard room. The room is small, you can just pass between the bed and the wall. The bathroom is small too, you need to stand in a corner or in the shower to be able to close the door (that goes inwards). There is no balcony. The room was clean and nice, the bed is large and comfy. Superb AC. The doors seem made out of paper cause you hear everything from the hallway, people walking and talking. The doors close very loud and the elevators beeps. The hotel is about 250 metres from the water and you have to walk a bit further to reach the beach. When we were there, there was no sunbeds on any beach. Lots of restaurants and shops just outside. That also makes the hotel not so quiet, there are deliveries, trash collection etc early in the mornings. We also happened to stay during a festival with loud live music just outside our window until 6.30 AM one day and an amusement park all our nights. Breakfast is very good, it’s a la carte (see picture for menu) and you can sit outside overlooking the square. Dinner was also good. It’s very nice decorated. The staff in the restaurant are hard working, serviceminded and accommodating. The pool is really small but seemed new. It’s on the roof with sunbeds and we enjoyed it. The hotel has no reception, you check in at Hotel Daina 200 meters down the road (which should be very good info in the booking confirmation).
