Excellent Room, spacious and very clean. Reception was not particularly efficient as they had my details from a previous visit a few earlier but had aligned someone else's passport as mine On the system ! Evening meal was a debacle. The waitress was totally indifferent and despite showing her on Google translate the words ”well done” which she acknowledged, our meals came out pink and bloody in the middle. However, breakfast was a superb contrast with a very friendly and helpful waitress. Car park charge is totally unnecessary by the hotel if using the underground car park and outside parking is a few spaces or use the road. Very unlikely to use this hotel again.

Hotel super céntrico. Habitación con una cama de 2.10m super cómoda, dando a un patio interior muy bonito, ajardinado con árboles y silencioso. Personal muy correcto. Muy buena experiencia. Repetiremos sin dudar para seguir viendo románico.

El hotel Alda Palencia es un hotel aunque más parece tipo albergue juvenil pues no hay cafetería ni restaurante.Eso sí,hay microondas y hervidor de agua creo.Aunque no lo usé pero lo vi.Hay un espacio con mesas para la gente que quiere desayunar ahí o comer algo y calentarlo. La habitación bastante espaciosa y con baño.Comoda y luminosa.Televisor y mesa.Suficiente para mí pues cerca del hotel hay muchos lugares para desayunar. La entrada para el registro lo hace una recepcionista pero para volver al hotel en horas que no hay recepción,se hace mediante una clave que hay que ingresar en el teclado de la entrada y la recepcionista da las claves de entrada.

This is a well situated hotel to visit the town, just across the river near the center of town. The staff are friendly, the hotel is not that new and might require a renovation, but room was clean and the staff friendly. Parking was for us no problem in front of the lobby.

A convenient short walk away from downtown. Upon my request, an electric kettle was provided in the room. Friendly check in, decent modern room. The parking is done by elevator, only after reporting to the reception--＞ every parking spot is assigned by the reception.

I liked everything in general, except the breakfast we included in the reservation, which was very low quality and scarce variety, there was no fresh bread (congeled or solely mold), pineapple or pepper juice (orange or boat), Precocted frozen tortilla, very low quality fiber, etc, for what it cost, it seemed to us a timo. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, the room is very clean and the parking is a little fair for family cars.

The hotel is away from the center but that didn't matter because we moved on bike. The room was very large, and everything was clean. The price is fair, and have bars to breakfast just below the hotel.

First visited this hotel when it was quite new... so a fairly long time ago! It hasn't changed much. Tired(has had a lick of paint) old fashioned with a public area that looks likes Prince Charmings Castle.Dark bedroom which had a balcony(no seats) which was hardly surprising as it was filthy with bird ***. Saving grace was that it was clean. The dining has changed though...for the worse.My husband ordered roast ham with smashed potatoes.When it came we both looked as if it was a joke.Some sort of meat flooded in gravy and (for those who know) a huge pool of white sloppy stuff which was (I'm sure) very watery Smash dried potato. He took one taste and sent it back. Much to the huffing and puffing of the (quite) rude waitress. I had ordered fish and was also brought the smash.Twice it was brought back to the table saying it was what I ordered. The wine was about the worst I've ever tasted. We asked for a bottle of water to dilute it much to the sighs of impatience from the same waitress. Avoid this hotel. It really has fallen by the wayside. It's offering 1 star service while saying it's a 4 star hotel.
