We travelled to the island of La Palma for a group of 7 people for work and we were taken to the morning. We made a reservation in Apartamentos Centro Cancajos. We leave the airport and go to the accommodation. When we arrived to this to check in (14.00 hours), we were first surprised; the reception was closed. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. We had to leave with all the baggage and return to the night. At 22.00 hours, I call the accommodation again (after trying to communicate with them all the afternoon without success ) so that they are informed that we were on the way and comment that there is no problem, The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. We were astonished, because we had called 2 hours before and everything was okay. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and was very comfortable. I think this situation is surrealistic. I've never experienced such a horrible, so sad experience. I feel sad, very sad about the event. We are in a full pandemic, with all the restrictions that this implies to be able to host**** in any case The hotel is very comfortable and it is very good to stay in the hotel.
The staff at this hotel are its main asset, by a long way. We found everyone to be helpful and friendly. Reception came up with the kettle I'd requested (I can't get out of bed without at least a couple of cups of tea, lol) and the bar staff were happy to oblige us with a request we had (I shan't say what in case they were breaking the rules!). They were also extremely hard-working as they were all mucking in to clear up the cinders from the volcano that we could see smoking over the top of the ridge. That really was a monumental task and all credit to them for keeping at least walkways open. But the room fell a long way short of satisfactory. Room 403 was a nice size and had a good-sized balcony with full sea and pool view. It had great potential. However, almost half the floor tiles were loose and clunking -- I pity the people in the room below ours. The washbasin was cracked and the bathroom door didn't close properly. The safe was tiny and needed you to carry a heavy key around with you, and yet they still expected you to pay for it. I expected a laptop-sized safe with code security, and for free. Our first meal in the hotel was breakfast (we were staying B&B). We were literally staggered by the choice -- bigger than anywhere else we can remember, and we travel a lot. However, the croissant was a joke, the OJ was foul and the cooked breakfast was very poor and stone cold (crusty scrambled egg for anyone?). The fresh melon was nice and so was the Cava we helped ourselves to as it was my birthday. The only other meal we ate there was dinner. It was very much geared to lovers of pizza, pasta and rice who didn't care too much about quality. A courgette gratin (cold) was the one and only veg dish. The fish looked horribly dried-up. However, the meatballs weren't too bad although cold, according to my husband. I nearly passed on the slightly bloody roast as it was labelled as pork, but fortunately the staff member confirmed it was actually beef -- and it was quite good, although it too was cold. They had one of our favourite Ribera wines on offer, so that saved the day somewhat. The coffee dispenser was turned off and we were told to go to the bar instead. They served us with one of the worst ”espresso” coffees I've ever tasted. It certainly hadn't come out of an espresso machine. All in all, although the food was cheap, it wasn't a happy experience. I'd rather pay a bit more and have an enjoyable meal. As everything we tasted was cold, I suspect the heating systems under the food weren't actually working.

AzuLine Hotel Mediterraneo is a Hotel suited for families and couples willing to relax near the sea and next to the great offer of bars and restaurants in Santa Eulalia.
The Hotel Mediterraneo is focused on friendly service and customer care.
The hotel has been refurbished recently, has a bicycle store room , a public parking nearby and it is one of the few with swimming pool in Santa Eulalia centre.
Relatively close to the city center and bus station (10 minutes walk), but need to climb going to the hotel. The staff helpfull. Very spacious, clean apartaments and bathroom as well. Equipped with portable air conditioner and nice, stylish furniture. Excellent breakfast with variety of hot dishes!
What is bad in my opinion: ground floor apartament without balcony with view to the very close rock wall and street. No soundproofing at all. You can hear all the conversations from the main hall and reception. What was the worst, the street is by the wall of the apartament and without soundproofing windows you hear all the cars passing by. For light sleepers (like me) it is not a good place to have comfortable rest and sleep at night.
