This hotel is in a lovely quiet location. It has great amenities including several pools and restaurants. The best thing is the staff who are fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Food is good but not great. We felt they would benefit from including daily specials to boost variety. It’s worth upgrading to Preferred for the access to private pool area and restaurants. One strange thing is that despite being adults only most of the pool areas are very shallow so not suitable for swimming. We would recommend eating at the sushi bar Gotham. The chef is brilliant, very charismatic and makes some fantastic sushi. Our trip went well for 8 days but then the hotel was invaded by a massive group of Americans on a corporate reward group. This turned a hotel that was supposed to be romantic and for couples into a noisy, shindig. The noise levels increased with the alcohol consumption from late afternoon until late night. It was a very disappointing end to what had been a lovely holiday. Surely a hotel that advertises it is for couples should not be offering mass corporate stays.

We have just returned from a 10 day family holiday at dreams. We had a room overlooking the kids slide pool and stayed on an All Inclusive basis. The hotel is stunning and is refurbished to a very high standard. The lobby and communal areas are beautiful & have a very luxurious feel. Our room was perfect for us - clean & comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily to a good standard and the mini bar is replenished with drinks daily. The beds and linens are very comfortable - we slept really well our entire trip. Small gripe we weren’t given towels 2 days but we were able to order them on the app to be delivered to our room. The food in the hotel does vary in terms of quality. Breakfast in the world cafe is great - plenty of options to choose from and generally something for everyone. To be honest I can’t really say the same about lunch and dinner in the buffet, we only had dinner once and lunch once, and neither time were we impressed much. The coco cafe is a lovely alternative if you don’t mind a lighter lunch or some cake/coffee instead. They do a great caramel frappe and they also have some really yummy ice creams - our daughter loved it there. The A La Carte restaurants are much better , although again standards vary. Our favourite was Portofino closely followed by The Bluewater Grill. The asparagus & Iberian ham soup is gorgeous! Sabor had great starters and desserts but the mains were a little hit & miss. Himitsu was a bit of a let down for us. We stayed at Dreams in the Caribbean and Himitsu was our favourite, however my husband had a green seafood curry that was neither green nor curry. He said it was like drinking a salty soup. The chocolate dessert again wasn’t great, not a 5* offering. My main feedback or hopefully constructive criticism would be lack of consistency. I ordered the same dish two nights in a row - first night amazing - second night just ok. We also had a few occasions where we ordered the same thing but they came out looking different. Or dishes advertised as containing certain ingredients but arriving without.If things could just be a bit more consistent it would really improve the experience. One of my favourite things about the hotel is the staff. I’ve got to say that whilst there were times I could see that they need more, the ones that are there are incredibly hard working, passionate and professional. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. I’d like to give a special mention to Maria & Sarah at the kids club who were great with our little girl. Victoria at the Marlin bar who helped me practice my Spanish - she’s a gem! Hugo & Denisa on the entertainment team - so much fun and laughter had with these two. And in the restaurants Aaron, Gorka & Marcos always made us feel so welcome and taken care of. And of course Daniel - every hotel should have a Daniel he is just so lovely and makes your guest experience very special. Our daughter was delighted every time she saw him. O

We visited this hotel in September 2024 for 10 days holidays. We had a lovely holiday, thanks to the hard work of all staff. Our room was lovely and spacious with large balcony. Nice shower and very nice pool. One part of the pool is heated and the other one is not. Very comfy bed which was not squeaky at all to my great delight ! Comfy pillows too & we had a very nice sleep. Very nice food, plenty of choice and always fresh and very well presented. Enjoyed our hotels cheese & wine tasting hour where we tried a variety of tasty goat cheeses & two local wines. Hotel is quite a long walk from town especially in the heat, we have got quite tired from it so next time just took a cab which is easy to book via reception. Costa Teguise town did not impress me at all, personally i would give it 3 out of 10 so there was no need to go there after you have been once. We have enjoyed a half day trip to Arrecife on local bus - bus stop just next to the hotel in both directions which is very convenient. We have also very much enjoyed the Sunday Market in Teguise (Teguise is a different town to Costa Teguise). I would go back to this hotel with pleasure and i really liked everything about it. What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).
