Just got back from our second visit here and I would like to put some of my views off the hotel. PROS: - The hotel on both visits has been really clean and tidy always work being done to keep it looking nice. The cleaners do a great job and the rooms are spotless. - The staff are always very friendly especially the bar staff (especially Alex & Javier) and are always willing to help. - The facilities are good, the pools are nice and the splash park is good (however see cons regarding the water 😂) The snack bar at the pool is a good place to sit and watch the world go by. - The rooms are lovely, but please note we've been in a suite both times so can't comment on a standard room. The suite we had this time was massive however just be warned unless you room specifically states seaview you're probably going to be looking at the communal grass area or the car park. CONS: - Meal times. As it's an all inclusive hotel it is obviously a buffet style, however depending on what time you get there it is also something akin to the hunger games. There is no structure or system and it's literally a free for all. No one queues or waits there turn, it can be very stressful. - The labelling of food is also not the best, you get the general idea of what stuff is, and if you are a meat eater it's not so much of a problem. However if you are Vegetarian or Vegan then it can be very difficult to know what's edible. - The pools make the North Sea feel like the Carribbean. I have never experienced a pool water that cold 😂 -------- On the whole though we love this hotel and the area and would definitely go back again and again. The pros certainly out weigh the cons.

Con fecha 18 de Marzo de 2024 fuimos en familia al restaurante del Hotel y salimos muy muy satisfechos. La carta muy variada y múltiples opciones para escoger. Destacar la Escudella que hacen y ofrecen de 1r plato, casera, abundante y con un sabor espectacular, junto con ello los Mejillones a la plancha, se nota que son frescos y buenos ya que su sabor es increíble. De segundo plato escogimos el balao, huevos rotos y croquetas. Personalmente escogí el bacalao y es delicioso. Los postres caseros y muy ricos. Destacar el couland y la tarta de queso. El personal muy agradable y servicial. Recomiendo muchísimo este restaurante. La calidad-precio es fantástica y estoy seguro que repetiremos.

Just returned from this hotel. I travel to Spain annually to visit family and try to make a holiday out of it. We normally stay between Cambrills and Salou but couldn't get into our usual hotel, after reading the amazing reviews we decided to book here. Pros: lovely room with everything you need from hairdryer to shampoo. We had a pool view room. Beds were big and comfortable with extra blankets provided which was great as my other half loved the aircon. Quiet hotel. Free Safe and coffee making facilities in the room. Free water in reception. The staff go above and beyond and make you feel so welcome. The hotel is in the perfect location for bars and restaurants. Also close to walk to the beach and easy access to buses into Salou. There is a pool bar. There was entertainment when you ate in the outdoor area which was a nice touch and free drink samples as you walked in. Great orange juice at breakfast and lots of food choice. Lovely sauna and fitness centre. Cons: pool view room means you are overlooking a road. The pool area was not great to be honest. We only tried to sit there for 5 mins and that was enough. The hotel feels more like a conference centre so did not have the holiday vibe we are use to. I felt like I was staying in hotel in London but with sun. Very small bar with long queues in the evening. The outdoor seating area is plagued with flys. The food was often luke warm or cold so we ended up living on bread rolls. Dinner did not start until 8pm so we were eating quite late every night. Overall if you are looking for just a base whilst you explore the local area then this is the perfect place for you but if you want a relaxing holiday around a pool with great shows in the evening then I would stay a little further up the coast.

I think the grounds is absolutely stunning, I didn’t get to try the spa or swimming pool just because we was there on a business trip. The room was ok the beds was pretty hard and the pillows extremely soft - so didn’t have much sleep, and the towels wasn’t changed, but other than that I think it’s a lovely hotel, and maybe if the beds was comfortable I would go back with my other half and enjoy here for a small get away. I wouldn’t stay any longer than a week, it’s a perfect long weekend hotel to stop at.

We loved the Estival Centurion Playa, we were welcomed on our arrival by friendly helpful receptionist, we did have to wait until 14:00 for our room but this wasn't a problem we waited around the pool area. we asked for a sea view when booking and we were happy that we were given a room (2016) on the 2nd floor over looking the sea. We found the hotel to be very clean, our room cleaned every day and fresh bedding most days. The food and choices for breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. The Estival Centurion Playa is situated in a quieter area of Cambrils, a few supermarkets, chemist, bars, the plana across the road, £10 euros for 10 bus trips then only £6 euros to top up for another 10 trips, ( if your a couple or family you can use the one card just tap for each person). Bike hire from the hotel. A 20 minute walk on the prom (right out of the back gate) will take you to the harbour, restaurants, cafes and many shops. A short bus ride through Salou to La Pineda takes you to a lovely beach area with a bay that is shallow you can walk out, safe for children, great for snorkelling. The bus will take you into Tarragona, a coastal city worth a visit. We had a ride to Reus town, Monday market day, stone buildings and quaint little side streets.
