We were in the hotel this Saturday and the experience was great. The hotel is very beautiful, you have the aesthetic feeling you are on a boat. The facilities are in perfect condition and the room they gave was very wide and beautiful. The hotel was very comfortable. We were in middle-pension scheme. The dinner was with the menu option with several options to choose, everything was very good, congratulations to the cook. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. , with special mention for Julieta. It's the first time we went to the sherry port area and we liked it very much. We'll come back!

Room had a weird smell upon entering. Cleaniliness was fine but facilities extremely outdated. Staff at reception were friendly and cot was provided for baby when asked though state of it was quite old. Breakfast options were poor and not very allergen conscious. Lack of alternative milks for example and I have a dairy allergy. Stayed on a Saturday and it was extremely noisy in the room. During the day, we could hear the music from a nearby Feria del Atun so loud that some of objects in the room would tremor and could feel the base of the music. In the evening, the bars just outside hotel were busy and could hear people talking very loudly until past 1am. It was also very bright in the room, making sleep difficult which is super inconvenient when travelling with a baby. Stayed as a 2-night voucher experience from Wonderbox and left after 1 night as was really not impressed.

The hotel staff were great and the hotel for a 3 star was remarkably good. The bed was uncomfortable (cheap construction) and such a shame considering everything else. I had booked two trips at the same hotel before I left due to a family emergency and the hotel told me after I had stayed for 3 days that they were cancelling my second booking and moving me to another hotel! This was due to a large single booking that wanted the whole hotel. Very disappointed especially as I informed them that my mother had just passed and the hotel was in walking distance to my fathers villa. They said that nothing could be done. I did not create a scene but left the hotel a day early (even though I had paid upfront) as I was disgusted with the way I was treated. I will never stay there again. It would have also been nice if Trip responded to my disappointment of this when I first notified them a couple of weeks ago.

Excellent hotel. very familiar. The hotel service is unparalleled. We didn't know this hotel, but we were very pleasantly surprised, as far as we were concerned, we came back and we would recommend it, we had a great stay, it is a great hotel, suitable for excursions along the coast of Cadiz, You can rest and spend with your family.

Ha sido un alojamiento de 10, limpieza impecable, buena ubicación (se puede ir andando a la playa). Cerca hay buenos sitios para comer muy cerquita y para poder ver las puestas de sol, maravillosas en la playa de La Barrosa. Si vuelvo me alojaré de nuevo en esta hospederia sin lugar a dudas. Se agradece el detalle que dejan en la habitación, como son: agua, infusiones, dulces, etc. Por poner un pero falta gel y champú en los baños. Estancia excelente!!!

GGuest UserReceptionist who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming and gave us some local information as it was our first visit to Cadiz. When booking we hadn’t realised this was an apartment hotel spread across a few buildings and it did feel a bit soulless. However it was spotlessly clean. The double room was basic but well appointed with sofa, tv, kettle, fridge and hairdryer. Bathroom looked quite new and had good shower. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Clean towels provided daily. We did have a few issues with noise as you could hear the shower and tv from the adjoining room and also guest leaving with suitcases in the early hours. Also quite a lot of noise from the street. Located in La Vina area so about a 10 minute walk to the cathedral. Close to La Caleta beach which was nice for watching the sunset.

GGuest UserWe had a very nice, spacious twin bed room as were travelling as friends. Very clean. Got safe battery fixed and good as included safe. Had shower gel (although needed refilling!) shampoo, handwash and handcream. Had bath and shower arrangement, which I prefer. Also a minibar! Good shutters too to block out light and also aircon. TV modern and good size and free WiFi. Lighting in room nice too. Sink plug was faulty but a minor detail. Staff were very responsive and helpful. The buffet breakfast was first class. You can order also cooked breakfasts as you wish in addition. Only drawback is whilst parking is next door, it's charged for so we parked elsewhere FOC 13 mins walk away after Googling ”parking gratuito” in area. Thought there was a bar in hotel but there wasn't but no matter as place is heaving with nice, very reasonable bars and cafés. There's one just opposite if weather bad that is dirt cheap! All in all, I'd highly recommend. We stayed for 2 nights just to see nearby Cádiz. It's perfect for this whether by ferry, bus or train.

Outstanding! It’s not impossible… though sometimes you wonder why we don’t come across places like this… all the time! Can it be so difficult for a single place to provide excellence at all levels - service, facilities, cleanliness, layout of room and bathroom, size and tone (lighting) of room, comfort… breakfast?! This place has it all!

Only a choice of orange and that was freshly squeezed but not to hand you had to order from the counter along with the coffee (no cranberry or apple juice) Not much of a choice at breakfast and waited over half an hour for a coffee. Other than that the place was very central and very clean, and I would go back but, next time maybe eat out for breakfast.

It could be have more variety along the week. After some days, we got tired of the same food. Also some confusion with big queues to buffet, since the hotel hosted some teens school excursions that flooded the restaurant and pool...

GGuest UserNice outward appearance and our room was available for check in. Nice room with king bed, lamps and plugs on both sides of bed. Nice table, with lamp and coffee pot and fixings. Plenty of room for working on electronics. Wi-Fi works well. Two luggage racks, very unusual. One full wall of cabinet space with safe. Refrigerator under the desk. Spouse was not happy with the tub/shower combination, but management put *****s of non-slip material on the tub floor. Bathroom nice size. Breakfast costs 5 Euro each and is inclusive, probably better then we can do on the street.

GGuest UserOnce we had negotiated the narrow streets and found the entrance to the underground carpark, we were feeling ready for a rest. The hotel itself has retained a lot of its charm as a former monastery, with antique furniture dotted around and a magnificent main staircase. The room was mercifully not overlooking the street but towards the back, so it was much quieter. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom, although a little in need of some updating, was spacious and everything worked. Breakfast was copious, served in a huge dining room. On our first morning, we were up very early as we had to get to Jerez on time, and so we were together with a large party of elderly Spanish tourists. There was an unpleasant episode with the waiter in charge of breakfast, who started shouting at me in Spanish that I h ad come in the wrong door and didn't I realise this?? It was a complete overreaction and totally unnecessary. He never really apologised and it left a nasty taste in the mouth. Generally the staff were OK, but not particularly friendly or helpful. But as we were only staying 2 nights, and were out most of the day, it wasn't a big deal. The restaurant had been closed, presumably due to the pandemic, so we went out on the 2 evening we were there, which we probably would have done in any case. I wouldn't not recommend this hotel, but it's a pity that the staff were not more accommodating .
