We checked into this hotel for an overnight stay, mainly due its proximity to the airport, as we had a flight to catch the next morning. Check-in was smooth and we got into our allotted room. The room seemed on the smaller side for a family of 3 and the extra bed made the room seem congested. The lighting was quite dim. The beds were comfortable but no extra pillows or such were provided. On making a request at the front desk for an extra pillow, the response we got was that there wasn’t anyone available to deliver it to our room and that we needed to come down to the lobby to pick it up. We did so. The hotel appears to have inadequate staff. The bathroom was very clean but again quite small. The front desk staff was quite helpful in guiding us regarding our queries about the shops around and the timings etc. The breakfast buffet was average. Overall, a decent overnight stay. The main plus point lies in the fact that one can reach the airport in around 15-20 minutes from this hotel.

The beds were pleasantly comfortable, even the added fold-out bed for our child. The rooms are small and nothing special but completely sufficient for one night. We found the room very quiet but would have preferred one with Air Conditioning. Ours was located in the sous-terrain and we could open the windows but there was a strong smell of smoke coming in from a nearby fireplace and we were only able to air it out by also opening the door to the hallway. Staff was very nice upon check in and check out. Overall a great value stay and we would consider it again when catching a morning flight out of MUC.

This is an absolutely beautiful 2 star hotel. It is not an airport hotel. It is a hotel near the airport. Didn't have time to use sauna, so I don't know. I waited well over an hour for the hotel shuttle. Watched all the airport hotel shuttles come and go. I couldn't call hotel with either my French or US Sim card. When they started to come back I just got a taxi. Upon checking in I was informed you take the city bus. I looked at my reservation and it clearly says ”local shuttle” and on another site it says something like ”concierge car service” Absolutely no mention of taking a bus anywhere. I looked through my confirmation emails. Not one word. That is the primary attribute of an ”Airport hotel” you fly in, jump on shuttle, get a lousy night's sleep, a shower, breakfast, and back on the shuttle. No thinking required. The should either provide the advertised services, or change the advertising.

Having a 14 hour layover in Munich, I came to this Marriott. Everything is very clean. Comfortable rooms. Service that you expect at a Marriott-excellent. I want to recognize Amy in the restaurant. Despite being quite busy, she was attentive and helpful. Loved the wienerschnitzel!!! If you have time, do walk around the little charming village of Freising. Many shops and places to eat. The only thing I didn't like was that they could not print my final bill for review, probably because I didn't actually stay overnight. It was emailed the next day and it was correct. While I was there many crew from Lufthansa were there. Always a good sign when flight crew stay at a hotel.

The Hotel has great staff and fabulous location to the airport! The staff are without exception professional and friendly! Very impressed! The spa pool area with a bar and food service onsite is world class. In fact that facility is worth the visit and I certainly will be back! The restaurant also fabulous and a Michelins star restaurant is part of this great hotel! The one thing I do not understand, why not give one free bottle of water to the vary world traveller paying top dollars to stay. There is zero water unless you pay 6euro for a bottle! Very comfortable hotel - clean, rooms were good-sized, restaurant on the premises. Breakfast offered in the morning with eggs cooked to order. Friendly and helpful staff. Johannes was particularly helpful with advising us on public transportation into Munich via bus/train and arranging our transportation to airport. Lovely town with university and famous brewery located nearby.

The front desk is friendly and English is very fluent. The breakfast is very good, there are many varieties, and we are suitable for those who don't mind Western food. The coffee is great. The hotel's airport bus is ten euros a person. I called Uber, 12 euros. The use of Uber in Europe is as convenient and practical as using drip in the country. Uber to the city is about 55 euros.

Likes: Hotel was clean and quite (Good windows insulated the jet sounds quite well). Cool vibe in lobby and bar. Breakfast was good. Dislikes: 25 Euro for early check in - Why? Room was ready-to-go - High vacancy at this place... Profiteering I think. Advertised an airport shuttle online - Turns out it is only one way (hotel to airport) so add 25 Euro for taxi from MUC to hotel, plus 15 Euro to return to MUC via the shuttle - So 40 to 50 Euro extra for the Munich ”Airport Hotel” - Probably worth the few extra Euro to stay at the actual airport hotel on premise (The Hilton). Also - Hotel is sprawling, so consider this if you have any sort of mobility issue. I got little sympathy for my bad knee. It was explained that because there was a party with loud music until midnight, I had to decide between a slumber disturbed, or a hike from the lobby. May have been forgivable if they offered assistance to get to my room... Nope... In a business park with no sign outside (challenging for my cab driver to find) One darkening drape to narrow (by 30 cm) for window so a very bright morning.
