Unfortunately, for us the negatives very much outweigh the positives at this accommodation. This is a long review, but if you are considering booking this accommodation, I would urge you to think again, and read this before doing so. POSITIVES: This accommodation is very well located, within a 5 minute level walk to the harbour and many bars and restaurants. There is a large very well stocked supermarket over the road. The pool area is nice and is well kept, we observed the pool and the sunbeds being cleaned every morning. There are a number of beautiful old olive trees around the pool, and the fallen olives were cleared away every morning. There are a few sunbed mattresses that could do with being replaced but as it was never very busy, this was never an issue for us. We were self catering so can't comment on the food. We booked a 1 bed superior apartment and were given a 2 bed apartment in Thalia Block. There is no lift in Thalia - not a problem for us, but some people may need to be aware. The apartment size was very good. NEGATIVES: The apartment was very dirty and although the beds were made and clean towels provided, the apartment hadn't been cleaned at all, not even hoovered. The whole apartment was dirty: floors, doors, handles, wall tiles, windows and 2 air con units didn't work. On reporting this, the receptionist suggested I remain in the apartment to direct the cleaner. This was my holiday and I'm not the cleaning supervisor. I shouldn't have to do this, so I refused and said the whole apartment needed cleaning. The floor was cleaned and the air con units repaired. The patio door lock was broken and didn't lock, this was never repaired. We were on the second floor so felt it was unlikely that anyone could get in via the balcony, but this is besides the point, the apartment should be secure. Even the crockery needed washing - bits of dried food and smears. There was no cleaning equipment available in the apartment at all. We always book an apartment and there is usually a broom, dustpan/brush, mop, washing up liquid, dishcloth etc - there was nothing. It felt as though the apartment hadn't been used in a long while. We had 1 change of towels during our week's stay - these were just left on the sofa, but not all of the old towels were removed which was just as well as an incomplete set had been left. They also left 2 clean sheets on the sofa but didn't put them on the beds - this was only enough for 1 single bed anyway. The apartment had British 3 pin sockets, but all the appliances were European 2 pin. I asked how we were meant to use them and was grudgingly given 1 adapter and advised no others were available. We could therefore only use 1 appliance at a time, so you can't make a cup of tea and use the toaster at the same time - ridiculous. The general areas in Thalia were just as bad - they clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time and certainly weren't cleaned in the week we were there. One apartment had an old sofa cushion and d

The hotel is located in the center of the tourist area of Paphos, which is a five-minute walk to the archaeological park and Paphos Castle. It's surrounded by restaurants and bars. It's good in all aspects and the breakfast it good.

Amazing experience! This was our first stay, a little bit difficult to find the place. However, the front reception staff were very friendly, the reception was very nice and well decorated! We were impressed with the hotels entertainment as there was something going on every day.

The hotel exceeded all my expectations! The pictures online doesn’t door any justice at all! The interior, and attention to details is quite exquisite! The staff are friendly and extremely accommodating making your stay truly memorable! I think this has to be if not the best hotel in paphos! My first time staying here but won’t be my last! The food is amazing, especially the breakfast so much option and also the option of champagne for breakfast says it all! They accommodated my late check out and provided me with a complimentary room to get ready before my flight to the airport. This hotel in my opinion is beyond 5*.

I have stayed at Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos approx 9 -10 times since 2018 - All package holidays booked with Jet2. I have not left a review for a while so will give my feedback now & will try & give as much helpful information as possible, including it’s accessibility for disabled people: I usually travel with my husband who is paraplegic as it is very accessible for him. We have also travelled with our grown up children & we all love everything the hotel has to offer. I visited again in May this year with my husband & have just returned from a relaxing 9 day stay with my friend - who also loved the hotel. The weather for mid October was perfect. She was impressed with everything about the hotel from being escorted at all dining times to your area of choice in the main restaurant, to the friendly staff throughout all the restaurants & bars & also the lovely ladies in the Snackeria cafe ( a special shout out for this holiday to Dasha a waitress in the main restaurant who was particularly lovely ). All staff are hard working & welcoming. I also appreciate Anthoulla from Guest relations for always taking time to find us & make us feel welcome whenever we visit. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Each night a cleaner knocks to offer spare towels & chocolates. We ate in the Italian & Asian restaurants during this stay which were both very nice but i prefer the excellent choice at the main restaurant for myself. The entertainment is of high standard for a hotel. I particularly enjoy the Queen show when i stay but we watched all shows on this holiday & the hotel entertainment team shows were excellent. I am not a drinker but i do look forward to my Passionfruit Daquiri’s whenever i stay! The drink choice in all bars are exceptional & all drinks are branded. Although this hotel is quite expensive, in my view it is worth the money. I am visiting with my husband again in May next year for 12 days & i would also like to book a holiday with my brother next October. For this holiday I would prefer to book 2 x Single occupancy rooms however, this does not seem to be an option with Jet2? I looked to book direct with Kanika hotels but it is quite alot more expensive to do so. The benefits of a Jet2 package deal is you are covered if it is cancelled & our accessible transfers are included. We also like the fact they check out your hold luggage at the hotel on the last day too , which is a big help. If there were things to improve this hotel it would be nice if Regular returning guests were to be recognised & given small perks. Eg A Free Late Check out would be very much appreciated, particularly as my husband cannot use the hotel shower facilities as there are steps down to them & he also needs a bed to get onto to be able to dress himself. We have no choice but to book the late check out. My friend did not want to pay 80 euros to keep the room until 6pm on this holiday, so we used the hotel showers, which were fine. The hotel has a superb location and the sea view is superb. The breakfast is very rich, and there are more than ten kinds of options for bread and cakes. The service is very warm. The hotel pool is also very good, and children like it very much!

We are a couple from England who had the pleasure to stay at M Boutique Hotel in Paphos, we really enjoyed the whole atmosphere, the staff were very polite and attentive, the hotel is very lovely and has excellent service, the whole Island is beautiful and the people are very warm, we will definitely come back again.

Having stayed here two years ago I thought that all would be well. The rooms we had were lovely and easily accessible without requests. (June 2022) I travelled with a group both times, but this specific booking was for myself and my nan who is in her 70's, prior to flying, I emailed the hotel directly to request a room that was mobility friendly, near my room and near a lift. The rooms we were given were rooms 115 and 119. The hallway leading to these rooms were vile, old carpet with year's worth of stains on them. I let my nan have the room with the double bed for ease however the shower was impossible for her to access alone, myself and my mum had to make sure we were with her each time she showered to ensure she could get in and out and not slip. Rubber mat was provided however the height of the bath was ridiculous and she wouldn't have been able to do it alone. My brother was in a newer room that had a walk in shower, so he requested the same for my nan but was told this wasn't possible as it was fully booked, he booked the same kind of room as I did on our booking. Mostly reception were unhelpful, to say the least. Saying that, the rooms were clean and tidy and the maids were great, with the signs you can put on the door for cleaning or not. The hotel is in a great location and the staff in the pool bar work incredibly hard, always with a smile on their face, except for one older guy who was there the last time we stayed and looked like he would rather be anywhere else but working! Maja (cocktail party), marianna and one other guy were super friendly and would go out of their way to help! Micheal on the bar inside was as great as he was last time 😊 Sunbed wars ensued during the week but we always managed to find a decent space and there was 7 of us. It's unfortunate that I would choose not to come here again due to the requests not being fulfilled on the rooms as this is a lovely hotel, it seems that singles are put wherever they may have room, regardless of need, at least update them a bit and replace the carpet!! Also go to the spa for an Indian massage, you won't regret it!
