Chenxi, the bathtub and room of this room type are curtains and no doors. The embarrassing thing is that the toilet is also outside. The whole room is...embarrassed, I don't think it's convenient. The bathroom has a lot of small stones, which is not conducive to cleaning. In fact, there is a pile of long hair in the small stone around the wash basin...Really...It is a bit difficult to accept the hygiene. There is a circle of yellow stains that are not obvious and the hygiene is not clean enough. There is no bathtub cover, the bathtub can feel the old stains by the hand, the homestay may be like this, I personally pay more attention to hygiene, so it is a bit uncomfortable.

The location is in Xiaoqi Scenic Area. Vehicles can't go directly. You can only park in the parking lot of the scenic area. Fortunately, the boss will ride an electric car. Pick up your luggage, or you have to drag it for five or six minutes. According to the instructions, no one picked up the parking lot and pulled the luggage over. This was not good.
Very satisfied homestay, full of wood fragrance, musk, is the natural look I like.
The little brother at the front desk took us to the wrong room at first. This is the only place that is not very happy. Let us change the room at night. There is no saying. Just a few people have to change it. This is a bad review.
All three meals are solved at the homestay. The homestay catering is run by couples, very enthusiastic and very understanding.
The soundproofing of the house is not good, so there is no TV. It is very good. It increases the parent-child space and also increases the fun of children except for TV. If there is a child at home, it may be a little boring.

A very good homestay, the location is 40 minutes away from the high-speed railway station, the hotel has a pick-up station service, the manager and all the staff are very considerate, only to book the room, add WeChat, and provide considerate service all the way. Guide check-in, help with luggage, as well as welcome fruits, local snacks, tea, and desserts. The hotel environment retains the style of the original ancient building. The rooms are warm and elegant. The surrounding area is surrounded by indigenous residents. It’s really nice to walk in, the lotus in the hotel can be fished... On the day I stayed, I happened to see that the hotel was newly opened after renovation, and the environment and facilities were good. But in our room, after taking a shower, both showers were clogged and water was everywhere. We asked the master to fix it on the first night. The next day was a little better, but water still came out easily and it was easy to slip. I kept walking around carefully and spread a towel, so I couldn't take photos. On the opening day, the breakfast service was obviously not up to par. Although the stall was closed at 9:30, would the customers who came at 9:27 not be able to eat any food? There wasn't even porridge. The children's meals were paid for, but there were no dishes. Since it is such a large hotel, you still need to make an estimate when there are many people. The service could not keep up, the meal time was extended passively, and the food was lacking and was not replenished in time. This needs to be reflected on.

Suddenly I felt that I should take a rest, so I sat at the long table of the current B&B, and accidentally opened a book of ”Country Gossip”. I guessed that it was written by the owner of the B&B about his relationship with this old house. The writing was good.
It turns out that this B&B was renovated from a house with a history of more than 180 years during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a plaque of ”Seven Leaves Yanxiang” given by Emperor Daoguang. It has an antique feel in the east and west, and the site selection also follows the principle of ”pillowing mountains, surrounding water, and painting screens”. , the seven leaves represent seven generations. The seven generations who live here have all lived to be over 90 years old. They bloom and spread their leaves, and they reproduce peacefully. I think this house is blessed with some luck.

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

SSantiagoCarlosWe had the best time in this stay, the lady was so kind to us that we feel like we had no way to give back the attention and care she provide for us during our stay. The location of this house is perfect, providing amazing views of the city river and fields around. We had breakfast and lunch which the aunt cooked beautifully and was some of the best food we had in China so far! The room was very artsy, comfortable with nice linens and towels, good water temperature and pressure, and you could see there was a lot of attention to detail.
We had a problem with our taxi driver not being able to receive our payment due to international card restrictions and the lady was so kind to help us without asking for anything in return, we will never forget.
Also she spoke a little English which is very helpful!!
We hope to come again and stay for longer. 💗🙏
