On April 4, 2024, I was fortunate to stay at the Vienna Hotel in Shangluo, which was an unforgettable and wonderful experience.
As soon as you step into the hotel, you can feel its elegance and warmth. The lobby is spacious and bright, beautifully furnished, and the staff is warm and friendly, making people feel at home.

I saw that this hotel had a relatively high rating on the reviews, so when I went there I found that it was branded as a Starway Hotel. The hotel is not in the city center and there are no restaurants nearby. We can only drive to Wanda to eat. I booked a river view room. The room was quite large and had a small balcony, but there was a strange smell as soon as I entered. It took a long time to ventilate the room before it got better. There is a small park next to the hotel where you can see the Danjiang River. The overall facilities are too old and should be renovated. The sinks are full of mold, the hardware in the bathroom has signs of rust, the carpet is dirty, and the paint on the door is peeling off. Sorry, the procedure for using the shower in the bathroom is too complicated. The most speechless thing was that there was a KTV in the hotel, and there was a man crying and howling at around 9 o'clock until the middle of the night. I didn't sleep well all night, so I decided to check out the next day. What satisfied me most was the breakfast in the hotel, which was very rich and the night view was not bad.

We chose to walk on foot to see the scenery along the way. The scenery of this walk from the entrance to the mountain is good. The bridge is flowing, the scenery is pleasant, and the humidity is a bit large. It took about an hour and a half to get to the cableway. Then take the cableway for about 13 minutes. Arrive at the top of the mountain and then walk for about 40 minutes to reach Nantianmen. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Up and down the steps. The scenery on the top of the mountain is not as good as the one walking under the mountain. People with poor physical strength can choose to walk to the ropeway and return. Good physical strength can take the ropeway to the top of the mountain and walk to Nantianmen. We hit the top that day and it rained heavily. Then after a short rest, we walked to Nantianmen. Finally, on the way to Nantianmen, the rain has stopped, and the scenery on the top of the mountain is very beautiful. After the clouds and mist dispersed, the peaks were reconnected and stacked. After taking the ropeway down the mountain, if you don't want to walk, you can choose to take a sightseeing bus for 30 people. After about half an hour, you will arrive at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. This journey is over.
