Hotel Astra has a very good location, right in the heart of Sarajevo. Old town, good food and museums are all in walking distance. Breakfast is good, there is plenty to choose from and the coffee tastes great. Our room was clean, had a balcony and we never experienced any noise from the busy street where the hotel is located. The staff is the best part of the hotel. Extremely helpfull, friendly and funny. We would definitely stay here again when we visit this beautiful city!

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and it is very convenient to see around. The service is very good and the attitude is very good. Breakfast is not very rich, but there are some, nutrition guarantee, absolutely full, the best is to eat fried bread, and ask the guests whether they need omelet every day, very considerate. I stayed for six days and gave me a free upgrade room, thank you very much!

The location of the hotel is the biggest selling point, just in the small street directly opposite the Latin Bridge, it is convenient to walk to the attractions of the old city. The hotel does not allow traffic in front of the hotel, so the address given by the hotel on Ctrip is the nearest address where the taxi can stop. In fact, the taxi is taken to the old town inside the block, and there is a yellow sign at the street. In exchange for money, the hotel is next to a pub and north, and the old town hotel is seen from the height of the four-story façade. The big bed room is two single beds together, the quilt is two sheets of people, talking with the front desk lady sister tip, said to clean the room to 1-2 mark, breakfast is simple, you can eat, quiet at night.

Hotel Berr is just an exceptional hotel in the heart of Old Town Sarajevo! I really enjoyed my stay here. Location couldn't be better - the hotel is a stone's throw from Pigeon Square (maybe 100 metres at most) and about a 10 minute walk to all of the main attractions in Sarajevo - City Hall, the various mosques scattered throughout the city and the main artery of Old Town (the pedestrian area). There are restaurants, shops, money exchange bureaus (watch out for those with high commission!), cafes and souvenir shops as far as the eye can see. There is no lack to choose from. There is also a medium sized supermarket on the corner across from Pigeon Square, open early and stays open quite late. The yellow fortress is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the white fortress is approximately 20-30 minutes uphill on foot. Note that the white fortress is closed indefinitely for restoration but the views of the city from the top of the hill is well worth the walk! The hotel owns 3 buildings - the result of expansion and buy up of other hotels over the years. So your room will be in one of the building adjacent to the main reception areas or it will be in the primary building. This was not at all an issue, but just so guests are aware of it! Note also that there is no lift/elevator in any of the buildings and the stairwells are rather narrow. I travel with only a small backpack, so for me, it wasn't even a concern, but for guests with large/heavy luggage or with mobility issues, be aware that you will need to climb the narrow stairs. Some of the rooms are in an almost ”attic” which might be a problem for some guests. The room was spacious and very clean! Although I was in a single room, there were two twin beds in my room. I believe all rooms have the same setup, regardless of how many guests you are staying in the room. The room was equipped with a desk, a small coffee table, two chairs, a large cabinet to store your luggage and a little electric kettle for boiling water (though no tea or coffee were provided in the room, I would nab instant coffee packets from the breakfast buffet to use the next morning). There were two mugs, a glass water bottle and two glasses. There was no air conditioning in the room, but there was a small fan which was sufficient for my needs. There was a flatscreen tv also in the room with approximately 30 channels available. Mostly local channels, however I was able to find about 5 in English. Some rooms have a mini refrigerator, but mine did not. It would have been a nice perk, but I managed without. The bathroom was very large and ample towels were provided (2 hand towels, 2 massive fluffy bath towels and a bath/floor mat). The bathroom had a large dispenser of hand soap as well as a dispenser of ”shampoo” (it was exactly the same as the hand soap), but I used it on my hair and I didn't have any issues with residue. My only (minor) complaint would be the lack of an enclosed shower (only a very thin shower curtain) wh

Hotel Divan has a very good location in the old town. The biggest disadvantage is linked to that - a very noisy tram line passes it all day. We chose a room in the basement and the backyard side, where it was ok. The room was comfortable and furnished in a nice style. Air conditioning worked well. There were a fridge and a safe in the room. As the hotel is rather small, there was no breakfast buffet but some options served to the table. Anyway, it was good. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us good advice about the city. One disadvantage was that they didn't accept cards.

Hotel Boss Hotéis em Stari Grad

I made a reservation at Boss Hotel. I needed accommodation for one night before heading back home, so I wanted to find a hotel close to the main old market. Additionally, I was keen on a hotel that provided free car parking, not due to cost concerns, but rather to ensure easy car accessibility as I prefer not to drive within the city. I decided on Boss Hotel with the expectation of complimentary parking. Upon my arrival at the hotel, the staff informed me about the available car parking options. However, visualizing the arrangements was a bit challenging, especially since I had a lot of luggage and was uncertain about the security of public parking. Finding the hotel's location proved to be a struggle, as it was situated in a hilly area. Despite this, my initial feelings of being overwhelmed were quickly replaced by a sense of comfort and belonging, thanks to the exceptionally supportive and responsive staff. Although the hotel's location required navigating some stairs from the city, which was a bit of a challenge for me due to my physical condition, the warm and welcoming ambiance made me feel right at home. Despite having stayed in over six different hotels during the past couple of weeks, the breakfast experience at Boss Hotel, with its views of old houses and charming narrow streets, stood out as a highlight. As for parking, I eventually learned that it was permissible to park in the public area nearby, and the parking was complimentary. Additionally, I was given the option to park at the hotel for a fee of 10 euros per day.

Arrived approx 10:30am was met with a really friendly female at the reception… although we were early was informed as soon as one room became available we would be allowed to check in early… was given a room downstairs, room was bit tight, and toilet in this room was very tiny however because of the way we were greeted and the early checkin we ignored the fact that this was a small room… we had 4 rooms the others on the first floor were really nice plenty of space bigger bathrooms too.. Location is probably one of the best you can get for the price of the hotel. Literally 5 mins from the centre where there are plenty of restaurants night life etc… Breakfast was included and honestly could not complain Velna made breakfast for us and when I needed anything different at breakfast she would go out of her way and accommodate of possible.. she use to clean our rooms daily too really friendly went above and beyond if and when required… Female at reception again exceptional service, explained everything thoroughly and really welcoming her name was Amna she was one of those gems who I know had an issue risen she would go out of her way to sort out… one example one of the rooms had faulty air conditioning, once we told her she made sure the issue was sorted as she couldn’t get the air conditioner fixed she got another room cleaned despite it being late and give us another room. Thankyou Amna We went with a group of 8 lads and 100% we would go back again…. Finally met one of the owners of the hotel Arman had a brew with him any major issues speak to Arman or Amna recommend this hotel to all. But try and get rooms on 1st floor as larger bathrooms.

We've just returned from a four-night stay here and loved it! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. We paid extra for the breakfast, which turned out to be a very good decision. There was a lovely selection each morning, and it was a great way to start the day. Returning during the afternoon also meant we could sit and enjoy a coffee, piece of fruit, or tasty biscuit. We would definitely return here the next time we're in Sarajevo. If you're looking to book a tour, then we'd recommend Meet Bosnia. Their office is an easy 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Latin Bridge
SSyed HussenThe bridge received its name because it connected the right bank of the Miljacka with the Catholic quarter of the city, which was informally called "Latinluk" ("place/domain of the Latins", loosely "Latin Quarter") in Ottoman times. Judging by its foundations, it is the oldest among the preserved bridges in the city. The census of the Sanjak of Bosnia from 1541 mentions the bridge on this spot, built by the leather-worker Hussein, son of Sirmerd. This first bridge seems to have been made of wood, because the court record from 1565 witness that the stone bridge was built here by eminent citizen of Sarajevo Ali Ajni-Beg.
Sarajevo City Hall
老少皆宜(程世荣)We came to Montenegro, the former Yugoslav republic, which is famous for its Sarajevo, and the previous film "Walter Defending Sarajevo" is depicted in Sarajevo during World War II, which is still the place of World War I.
Katedrala Srca Isusova
长脸张少侠Sarajevo [Main Church of the Sacred Heart] The Sacred Heart Cathedral is located in the old town of Sarajevo. The church was built on August 25, 1884 and completed in August 1889, 43 meters high. It is one of the symbols of Sarajevo's city. Address: Trg Fra Grge Marti a 2, Sarajevo 71000 Transportation: Old Town Walk Tickets: Free Time: 9:00-17:30 Closed on Monday
Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque
SSarah HsThis mosque is located in the ancient city of Sarajevo, next to the main street, with a long history, many people worship it every day, opposite the halal museum, and Islamic school, which can be said to be one of the most important halal, and is also an important monument preserved by local listings.
Yellow Bastion
1139***45Huangbao is a fortification built during the Ottoman Turkish period and is now an observation deck. Whether it is tourists or locals, they love to come here to watch the sunrise and sunset, enjoy the dusk here, overlooking the old city of Sarajevo, it is very intoxicating.
Bascarsija
佟贝勒爷I asked a local friend where the place called the Grand Bazaar was. He said it should be the one called the Old Bazaar of Berg in the old Ottoman building in the center of the old town of Bascarsija (near the boundary between the Turkish and Austro-Hungarian areas), not the one that everyone commented on, which is next to the Serbilli Fountain at the entrance of the Turkish quarter of the old town of Bascarsija, which is commonly known as the "Coppersmith Street" by Chinese people! Since we are talking about the Coppersmith Street, let's talk about it! Friends who have been to Turkey will definitely feel like they have traveled back to Turkey when they get here. Yes, whether it is the architectural style or the copper utensils, even the manual processing technology is exactly the same as Turkey! The reason is very simple because all of this is left over from the Ottoman Turkish Empire, and some old craftsmen can even speak Turkish! This street is most famous in the eyes of Chinese tourists because the famous scene in the old Yugoslav movie "Walter Defends Sarajevo" introduced in 1973 was filmed here (I will not repeat the plot, friends who have not seen it can search online)! There are few tourists in winter, and strolling in the old street feels the gentleness and peace of Sarajevo today. As a foreign tourist, I can only feel her heaviness and see her beauty, but I can't feel how much the people here have suffered from war! Let's talk about the people here. The old man in a hat waiting to buy pomegranate juice in Figure 10 is my friend. He is not that old, only 45 years old (Europeans and Americans generally mature early and look old, haha). Today he came to accompany me shopping, and suddenly he told me that he wanted to drink pomegranate juice and asked me if I could wait a minute? I said OK! According to our Chinese habits, he would definitely buy two cups and treat me to one cup, but he didn't! At noon, we had dinner together, and before I finished ordering the dishes, he had already ordered a draft beer and drank it himself! Haha, if you follow the inherent Chinese thinking, you will definitely think that they are not considerate enough and not good brothers. I came all the way to your hometown, and you didn't treat me to a big meal, but you ate a cup of pomegranate juice and a pitcher of beer alone! Yes, they are really like this, even when we eat together, we are AA! Haha, but I'm used to Europeans being like this. This is their way of life. It doesn't mean they don't value you or love you! (In 2017, I was in Madrid, Spain, and I had a motorcycle accident and my toe was broken. I went to the hospital. My two local friends ran around for me and were almost dying of anxiety. But they usually don't even buy me a cup of coffee or a cigarette, haha) Maybe their AA system of taking care of themselves is left over from the hundreds of years of rule of the Ottoman Empire? Because my Turkish friends are so knocking, haha. When I first met them, I really couldn't stand it! While walking around, I accidentally saw a stuffed lamb in the window of a shop that was not open (Figure 12). I really wanted to buy it because its eyes looked so sad but so firm, which touched me instantly. That look seemed to express the inner desire of every Sarajevo citizen! That is, I hope there will be no war in the world from now on! Forever peace!
Sebilj

Old Orthodox Church
QquqkyOrthodox is one of BiH's most dominant religions, so this Orthodox church is also the largest in Sarajevo, with a dark brown exterior and several annex buildings with domes, quite large in size.
