I reserved a room for two nights for my family, however no one was at the reception to greet or help us. Instead workers from inside their restaurant looked and laughed which was terribly ill mannered. I also mentioned days prior to arriving that I had another child coming along and but didn’t need another bed. The person I spoke with on the phone had no problems and just asked me to arrive to the motel. However, the man that “helped” us to our room showed lack of hospitality and got upset because we didn’t mention we had another child coming. (In which we called about twice). The room was clean and functional to say the least, but the service was absolutely horrible.

This is our 2 nd stay at Quest Echuca, could not fault the property and the staff. Location is great, within walking distance to shops and eateries. Easy parking and free. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, a TV in the bedroom would have been nice but this is only being picky. No problems with WIFI, had 2 devices connected and it was quick. The welcome block of chocolate was the Icing on the cake. See you next year.

Standard room. Quite comfortable. Very well located right in the centre of town with restaurants and attractions nearby. Fridge had no freezer and not sure why the toilet paper was is a lockable metal container. Bed was very close to one wall - very squishy for a big bloke. Exhaust fan in bathroom was on a sensor that had a life of its own. Just little things. Quite acceptable for a one night stay.

We booked an overnight stay here, (1st June, 2022) Spoke over the phone to book, asked for a top floor room, asked what time was check in. Told 1pm. We arrived after 1pm only to be told check in was at 2, had one top floor room available so we took it. Mmmm Mistake, Room 35 was at the very end and the closest room to the main road. Oh Boy the road traffic was loud. It did not help that the small tray outlet had a huge opening on the side and allowed the noise come through even more. The room itself could not fault all that was in there. Bed was very comfortable. Upon closer look the dust on the bed head was thick. Need new bedside lamps. Way past their use by date. The heater worked really well. (Thank god) as it was a cold night. Our neighbour unfortunately spoke on his phone on the balcony and was very loud. Over an hour the first time, 2nd time we turned up the telly. (No fault of the hotel). Time for the room to get a face lift.

NNguyenI reserved a room for two nights for my family, however no one was at the reception to greet or help us. Instead workers from inside their restaurant looked and laughed which was terribly ill mannered. I also mentioned days prior to arriving that I had another child coming along and but didn’t need another bed. The person I spoke with on the phone had no problems and just asked me to arrive to the motel. However, the man that “helped” us to our room showed lack of hospitality and got upset because we didn’t mention we had another child coming. (In which we called about twice). The room was clean and functional to say the least, but the service was absolutely horrible.

ZZOEdechengziWhen I chose, I didn't expect it to be such a good river view room! Opened in 1874 Echuca Hotel with Campaspe Lodge attached. Although it is a twin room, it can be split into three single beds for three people.
The environment is very good, the day and night are particularly quiet, the morning morning call is a variety of birds... If you are not in a hurry, it is recommended to stay one more night, and you can be in a daze for an afternoon looking at the natural scenery on the balcony.
Facilities: Because it is winter, it is very cold at night. However, the air conditioning in the hotel room is very warm, and there are spare blankets in the closet. Even the bathroom has a bath heater, and the water flow is sufficient and hot water comes quickly!

GGuest UserStayed here for two nights . The Queen room are a good size at the back off the main road with little or no road noise. The room had a queen Bed ,A/C Tea/coffee making facilities ,Fresh milk, long bench with plenty of space to put suitcases,Microwave,Toaster kettle, Cutlery and crockery, a lounge and two chairs. Bathroom had nice shower with screen door soap provided but no body wash. Parking was right out the front of the rooms a 5 minute drive to the Moama Bowling club for Dinner as the onsite restaurant has closed . Management and staff are super friendly would not hesitate to recommend this motel to others

GGuest UserWe’ve been on the road for almost 6 weeks staying at some very “high end” accommodation. However this little sensibly priced gem ticks all the boxes. The initial warm & helpful over the phone booking of our accommodation to the cheerful greeting on our arrival. Our room was so very clean, bed & pillows new and comfortable and the bedding so very fresh, lightly starched and clean, clean, clean. We’ll done Mercure Echuca Team! K & R

GGuest UserWe booked an overnight stay here, (1st June, 2022) Spoke over the phone to book, asked for a top floor room, asked what time was check in. Told 1pm. We arrived after 1pm only to be told check in was at 2, had one top floor room available so we took it. Mmmm Mistake, Room 35 was at the very end and the closest room to the main road. Oh Boy the road traffic was loud. It did not help that the small tray outlet had a huge opening on the side and allowed the noise come through even more. The room itself could not fault all that was in there. Bed was very comfortable. Upon closer look the dust on the bed head was thick. Need new bedside lamps. Way past their use by date. The heater worked really well. (Thank god) as it was a cold night. Our neighbour unfortunately spoke on his phone on the balcony and was very loud. Over an hour the first time, 2nd time we turned up the telly. (No fault of the hotel). Time for the room to get a face lift.

GGuest UserStandard room. Quite comfortable. Very well located right in the centre of town with restaurants and attractions nearby. Fridge had no freezer and not sure why the toilet paper was is a lockable metal container. Bed was very close to one wall - very squishy for a big bloke. Exhaust fan in bathroom was on a sensor that had a life of its own. Just little things. Quite acceptable for a one night stay.
