Everything was super clean and the place is just plan chic. Shared showers and bathrooms were spotless. Service was excellent and responsive in handling a double charge and a late arrival. Highly recommended.

Sydney Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to stay for us during our 3-days visit in Sydney. The Hotel was really quite, our room had a big balcony, a kingsize bed and was comfortable. The hotel is located just a 5 min walk from the train station. We explored a lot of things (like the Australia Museum, the Sydney Eye and the shopping street) by walking, the location was super. And the staff was really friendly and helpful. They even postet my postcards for me.

The good - the location is pretty central and the bed was very comfortable. The ride to/from the airport was about 20 minutes and about 50 dollars Aus. We could book the room for one night on the New Years' weekend and it was ＜ $200 US. The rest - Overall, the Kirketon could use an update. The hotel facility was retrofitted into the building and while this can produce a fun and funky (in a good way) experience, the Kirketon is more funky (in not a good way). The lobby and room furnishings are tired and weird (not in a ”hip” way). The windows are FILTHY. I think the room and bathroom were clean but the lighting is not great. There is no lift so be prepared to carry you and all your stuff up the stairs. Our room was strangely laid out so that there was about 1 foot between the bed and wall and we had to lift our suitcases over the bed to get them to the other side where we could put them down. We also basically had to walk sideways to move through that opening. The bathroom was a long, thin (~12 foot x 2 foot - think bowling lane) ”room” with a small sink at the top of the corridor and toilet at the end with the shower jutting back into the main room on the side.

This hotel is in a great location but has seen better days. In terms of functionality there is nothing wrong with it but it is a little tired and dated. However, the price reflects this and it is good value. I would recommend staying here and will do again in the future.

I stayed at the hotel for 2.5 weeks during one of the busiest times in Sydney. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff exceptional. The manager on duty incredible. I had a few hiccups as any traveller would at any hotel but once mentioned by me to the staff they without hesitation went beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. It isn’t the most glamorous or biggest or even the most sophisticated place but it was perfect for a solo guy like me travelling in Australia for Mardi Gras and site seeing. Other friends of mine ran into numerous problems beyond my challenges at other big chain hotels but this little place kept me going and made me very happy. I’d return anytime. It’s location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Thanks to all the staff there that were amazing. See ya again soon I hope!

I booked this for our anniversary staycation. We usually do this every year so I didn’t expect much but what differs this from the other hotel that we’ve been to is their sweet gesture of leaving some sweet treats with greetings.
Hotel location is about 10mins walk to townhall. Which is very convenient.

Hotel location is very good Metro 2 minutes around the snacks, a lot of snacks to go inside is Elizabeth Harbour, a beautiful boat floating in the sea, there are couples, there are many gays on the grass on the beach, you, me, my invisible scenery, choose His hotel is a five minute walk with a pharmacy for two minutes. There is a big supermarket next to the subway station. There are fried chicken around. Very delicious. I have set four nights. The last night is characteristic. The room type is very good. The price is very high. All the central areas are not used. By car, as long as you are not tired, you will arrive at the Church Museum, Sydney Tower, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Art Museum, and everyone is close to it.

GGuest UserI stayed at the hotel for 2.5 weeks during one of the busiest times in Sydney. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff exceptional. The manager on duty incredible. I had a few hiccups as any traveller would at any hotel but once mentioned by me to the staff they without hesitation went beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. It isn’t the most glamorous or biggest or even the most sophisticated place but it was perfect for a solo guy like me travelling in Australia for Mardi Gras and site seeing. Other friends of mine ran into numerous problems beyond my challenges at other big chain hotels but this little place kept me going and made me very happy. I’d return anytime. It’s location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Thanks to all the staff there that were amazing. See ya again soon I hope!

JJason QWERTYThis hotel is in a great location but has seen better days. In terms of functionality there is nothing wrong with it but it is a little tired and dated. However, the price reflects this and it is good value. I would recommend staying here and will do again in the future.

GGortneyEverything was super clean and the place is just plan chic. Shared showers and bathrooms were spotless. Service was excellent and responsive in handling a double charge and a late arrival. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe good - the location is pretty central and the bed was very comfortable. The ride to/from the airport was about 20 minutes and about 50 dollars Aus. We could book the room for one night on the New Years' weekend and it was ＜ $200 US. The rest - Overall, the Kirketon could use an update. The hotel facility was retrofitted into the building and while this can produce a fun and funky (in a good way) experience, the Kirketon is more funky (in not a good way). The lobby and room furnishings are tired and weird (not in a ”hip” way). The windows are FILTHY. I think the room and bathroom were clean but the lighting is not great. There is no lift so be prepared to carry you and all your stuff up the stairs. Our room was strangely laid out so that there was about 1 foot between the bed and wall and we had to lift our suitcases over the bed to get them to the other side where we could put them down. We also basically had to walk sideways to move through that opening. The bathroom was a long, thin (~12 foot x 2 foot - think bowling lane) ”room” with a small sink at the top of the corridor and toilet at the end with the shower jutting back into the main room on the side.

GGuest UserSydney Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to stay for us during our 3-days visit in Sydney. The Hotel was really quite, our room had a big balcony, a kingsize bed and was comfortable. The hotel is located just a 5 min walk from the train station. We explored a lot of things (like the Australia Museum, the Sydney Eye and the shopping street) by walking, the location was super. And the staff was really friendly and helpful. They even postet my postcards for me.

Anzac Memorial
Yyangduoduo17While wandering around Hyde Park, we stumbled upon the Australian New Zealand War Memorial. From a distance, we found the building interesting and approached to see what it was. As we walked up the steps through the reflection pool in front, a friendly person appeared to greet us, asked if this was our first visit and offered to introduce us some information about the place. Others were nice and I guess he was a volunteer, maybe a veteran. He told us about the history of the place, both old and new, and who was responsible for each area. He explained the different areas of the memorial, and the beautiful statues decorated in the center of the building. We didn't have time to feel it because we were going to meet friends from overseas nearby. So we will come back here in the future, spend some quiet time and feel everything.
Sydney Jewish Museum
Yyangduoduo17I visited in January 2020 and chose to join Vlad (travel guide) for the 11am tour; the tour was only intended to last an hour, but after2.5 hours, I was still listening to Vlad speak about the tragic tail of the Jews...there is no word to describe the time spent in the museum. The museum is well furnished and the staff is the most amazing person you have ever had - I would recommend visiting this museum.

Darlinghurst Courthouse
门门子乀The court's back garden was shaded by trees, clusters of flowers, and a whole patch of green grass where a family was having a picnic, a couple and their children, and that scene was very romantic. We went there already after 6pm, the court was off work at 6pm, so we couldn't climb the tower. Unfortunately!
National Art School
门门子乀The predecessor of the National School of Art was Darlinghurst gaol, which turned out to be a prison. It was built between 1836 and 1840. In 1921, it was changed to the East Sydney Institute of Technology, and in 1995 it was changed to the National School of Art. It's very special and worth seeing.
