The location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads. Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests. But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning.

This was great find, I booked this hostel for one night as it looked like a fun place to stay for a different experience to our usual hotels. The rooms are fairy basic as you might expect if a hostel but equally they have everything you need and are super clean and comfy. Seemed to be popular with skiers and families. The building does carry noise but people staying were al respectful and we were not disturbed. Friendly reception who were helpful. We enjoyed our night in the cells 😉

Really great stay in a reformed prison! interesting building. We stayed in a double room which had updated and nice furnishings! bathroom was beautiful! Decently priced aswell! Really not far from the train station either and close to loads of restaurants and shops!
