Rita was very helpful and friendly. She was accommodating and the room was clean, well arrange, kitchenette have all the basic needs.

A girls weekend in Christchurch. Weather wasn’t great neither was the accommodation- all a bit lack lustre. Bellanio maybe ‘trendy, modern, boutique’ from the outside, but under the hood it’s tired and dated. We had a groundfloor room in the corner at the back. The little courtyard patio was the best thing about the room. The bed was old, soft and saggy. The throw was scratchy vinyl. The dated scruffy faux leather couch was uncomfortable like the bed. Another redeeming feature- the shower was hot and powerful. Alas all single use products in the bathroom. Kitchenette is well equipped- with mismatching random utensils, not needed with a microwave. There’s no in room recycling, but there are DIY bins in the yard. The situation isn’t helped that a lot of hotels, apar**ents and Airbnb in Otautahi Christchurch have been rebuilt or remodelled or are new build. These new, fresh modern places just make Bealey Ave motels look more tired.

Be aware that L O U D construction is currently taking place on the motel, from about 7am right on top of the roof. Wasn't mentioned at all in booking or check in. A guy could see through the bathroom window one morning unexpectedly, and loud banging continued through the day. Couldn't take any remote meetings and had to go to a cafe. Bath was also dirty, shower curtains weren't clean and had hair on them.

Have not stayed recently but it is concerning that their website is so hopelessly out of date. Information was posted by previous owners over 8 years ago! The information shown is misleading to people potentially expecting some dining experiences that don;t even exist now.

We stayed here 3 nights and had a great stay. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. The rooms were serviced beautifully each day with new toiletries and tea and coffee etc. The motel is in a very handy spot and is easy walking distance to the central city. Would stay here again.

This property was a convenient place to stay not too far from town.
The scaffolding that was up made parking a bit tight but was still manageable.
The room was hot so we had windows open which meant we could hear a lot of noise from the street.

Ideal for corporate or a get-away. Pretty much close to all amenities, a decent 20 minute walk to town. Spacious and modern rooms.

Well appointed, good size room and bathroom, great kitchenette, fantastic location being walking distance to the CBD, ******, Hagley Park, Southern Cross Hospital.
The only issue was the long wait for hot water while showering.
