I m a first time traveller to Chongqing and I stayed four nights in Glenview Hotel The room is spacious and clean. The location of Glenview Hotel is excellent and it's just few minutes walk to the metro station and the must go places near Liberation Square. Super convenient.The service of the hotel is excellent and I am so impressed by the human touch approach. I received a warm handwritten notes from the hotel on Women Day! Plus,I accidentally slipped down in the bathroom and my hand is a bit swollen and blue. Even tough it is not serious, the staff of the hotel took good care of me.Highly recommended

We enjoyed ourselves very much at this wonderful hotel. We reserved a suite which had an amazing balcony and view of the waterfront. The price was very reasonable and I doubt we could afford such a room in the U.S. A quick walk and we were sightseeing in an amazing city.

This is an amazing hotel if you’re looking to feel fancy. It’s located right above a beautiful shopping mall and a subway station. The decor in the lobby and room is nice. The staff is very friendly and some of them spoke English. The room itself was amazing. It was basically a 1 bedroom apartment. It also had a combo washer/dryer which was SO helpful to me as I had been traveling for a while and needed to do laundry. This hotel is very comfortable. They have a 24 hr room service robot that you can order using WeChat. The in-room dining service had good food. I ordered dumplings and fried rice that were both great. One feedback I have is that it would be great if ordering room service was done digitally instead of calling. I tried to order a second time but had an embarrassing moment of language barrier so I didn’t order. I also had trouble using my Visa card to pay for the in room dining service.

This hotel has definitely seen better days.. The location is a bit difficult to find but it’s very close to a subway station and the longest we had to ride in a did was about 20mins. The service was just ok. They didn’t change our towels or service our room until 5pm (even though the service cart was sitting outside of our room since morning). However when we got locked out of our room at they came quickly to help. The receptionist also responded quickly and changed rooms when we found bugs in our room. The cleanliness is questionable, first we saw roaches and bugs running around the hotel. The bottom of the pool also had some dead bugs. The rug in our first room was very dirty, we didn’t feel comfortable taking our shoes off. The R on the sign was falling off and they’re dead plants all over the hotel! Overall, I think this hotel was a lot different than pictured and it kind of turned us off from exploring it more. It definitely needs a clean up!

Great service location is unreal! Very convenient! The price is very good for what you get! Might be a little noisy in the AM due to the ongoing construction but it’s really good for what you pay for!

The location inside of Peninsula Int'l Business Building, 20th floor. Behind of Westin, hyatt and opposite of Republic of Korea Guangfujun Site (韩国光复军总司令部旧址). Walking a minutes to Ropeway, Temple, Hongya dong Folk Scene Area, port (sunset cruise) and else. My room in 20th floor is clean big 舒适 All staff very friendly and helpfull. 1st day when I came (late night) I can't sleep, so I request to change the room at floor nearby the reception. The next day the staff upgrade my room in the 20th floor, near the reception..yeay..thanks a lot, I can sleep then. Btw, the hotel doesn't have restaurant & breakfast, but don't worry because many restaurants and food street very close to the building. Oh, when I almost lost way to shiweixian, I call the staf, she help me and told to the driver the right way (address) to go (nan'an district). Overall perfect, Enjoy my holiday in Chongqing. I will stay here when I in Chongqing. Because very near and close to tourist attraction and culinary.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and very helpful with check in and laundry services. The only issue is the cleaning staff should pay close attention when cleaning the rooms. There were fruit seeds on the floor from previous people who where there. Also the towels in the bathroom were changed but the bathtub wasn’t cleaned out. Other than that I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning Views Amidst Clean Comfort and a few flaw at Roosevelt. My recent stay at Roosevelt offered a mix of breathtaking scenery and comfortable accommodations, albeit with two minor flaws. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel boasts unparalleled views of both the sparkling river and the bustling city skyline. The lobby was impeccably clean, with modern decor and well-appointed furnishings creating an inviting ambiance. However, my enthusiasm waned slightly upon noticing the state of the carpeted hallway, which appeared in need of a thorough cleaning. Despite this initial impression, the cleanliness and comfort of my room quickly restored my confidence in the hotel. The spacious accommodations were meticulously maintained, offering a serene retreat from the bustling city below. The large windows provided an uninterrupted view of the river and cityscape, allowing me to enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of my own space. The onsite restaurant promised a western breakfast; to be honest I had my doubts but my wonderful fiancé convinced me to book the hotel with the breakfast option included, however their idea of a western breakfast was toast, overcooked eggs, stale doughnuts and the rest you’ll refer to the pictures. While the dirty carpeted hallway was a minor disappointment, it did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the hotel. With its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and stunning views, Roosevelt remains a top choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Chongching. I would gladly return for another visit, hopeful that the cleanliness of the hallway and the breakfast matches the caliber of the rest of the hotel in the future.

Brought my family to chonggqing and was happy that I’ve decided to stay with this hotel. The reviews and photos didn’t disappoint. The hotel's service is very good, with active service from Dahu and Luoluo, and quick problem-solving speed. The turnaround via wechat is almost instant, all issues are addressed immediately. They also provided us with complimentary fruit basket and offered us bread in the morning as well. The hotel is located in the center of Chaotianmen, making it convenient for travel, shopping, and dining. The night view from the hotel room is very beautiful. We were able to view hongyadong from our hotel room and many other popular tourist spots.

We had a lovely stay at Bayan Tree Beibei! The room was comfortable and clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift. The resort gives you a booklet full of activities to complete and rewards you can get for completing them. The honey milk bath was luxurious and left my skin feeling smooth. Breakfast was the best meal, and I loved the self-serve mimosas. The main downside is the location. Though a nice getaway, the view is a bit marred by a lot of abandoned buildings and construction equipment, which take away from the sense of being in nature. It is a 20-minute drive to the nearest town center (Beibei) which is the only place you can even get basic snacks outside the hotel. The hotel doesn't offer a convenience store, so your only option is to buy the mini bar snacks or order a meal. The Chinese restaurant food is good, but not always open. Overall, it was a good place to relax for a couple days, away from the city, but bring your own snacks.
